Re: JANE's postal services:
When I first moved from LA to northern San Diego County I was amazed at how much the area DIDN'T have. I was longing for open spaces, less traffic, less crime, etc, but hadn't realized how much big cities have to offer, nor how much of that I wanted and needed. Small cities and towns have much to offer, but sometimes you're taken by surprise at what you've grown accustomed to--at least I was.

Yes, like having stores and/or restaurants open 24 hours a day, etc, etc...

Ain't it nice to be able to buy some ice cream at 3:15 am?!

Oh, give me the simple life! :)

Then we went to the director's house for a party....tonight after the final performance we will strike the set....

Always my least favorite thing about doing community theater.

I continued watching BROTHERS & SISTERS for part of the afternoon. I am now in the midst of the story arc with Jason Lewis playing the closet soap opera star dating Kevin.

Also had the memorable episode with Marion Ross as Nora's (Sally Field) mother.

I also did take the time to watch Thursday night's excellent BURN NOTICE. I was ahead of Michael in the first act and guessed what was going on before it became obvious to him. Afterward, however, it was one twist and delightful turn after another.

Am going to hate losing the show after next week, but look forward to its return next summer.

Tonight, I'll continue with BROTHERS & SISTERS. At 10, I may watch TORCHWOOD which the DVR is recording at 9. At 10, I'll be able to watch it and speed through the BBC-America commercials.

I am up early waiting for Comcast to hook up the cable. This was suposed to happen last Saturday---then Sunday---then Wednesday---and now today. And between all those bogus appointments and lost work, I have probably talked to 20 different people there who assured me that everything was "in progress".

Apparently they pay people just to listen to you complain and then agree with you and then do nothing.

If they didn't have a monopoly here, they would be out of business. And I've heard the same horror stories from everyone else I've talked to about it. I would be embarrassed to tell someone I worked for them!

I have not heard good things either about Comcast.

To my knowledge, it is not available. However Cablecom in Fargo is not much better.

TCB, here is an example of one of the graphics I made for a freind. Albeit, it is a soap one but it gives you an idea...

You can do quite a bit with the Digital suite and it works with hp.

Everyone has their own unique style. I prefer the soft look for some reason...

I do like the banner this person made and she used a paint and animation program.

Does anyone out there in the dark know what movie(film noir)the following quote comes from-delivered by an actress

"What am I supposed to do reform? Become Poor but Honest. On what corner would you like me to beat my Tambourine?"

Aha! I plopped a DVD of the Movie I thought it was and it was the one I thought it was-LADY IN THE LAKE. Does anyone remember the Philip Marlowe film noir Directed by and Starring Robert Montgomery.?? The film was shot as if the leading character was the camera. Pretty interesting movie. The actress ,by the way, was Audrey Totter.
