I find it just a bit disturbing that my moniker is JMK here and yet DR Jane or whatever the hell her name is hasn't figured out my middle name starts with an M.  :)

ROTFLOL-Maybe I should stop drinking now.  Oh, but my neck & shoulder no longer hurt.

How do you find Groups on Facebook?

Networks are accessed from Account Settings, but I don't know about Groups...

A test for Ben's memory.

It looks familiar but I'm not sure. I do know what it's not, it's not La Lieutenance, it's not the Boudin Museum, it's not the birthplace of Erik Satie and it's not Ste. Catherine Church, which I used to pass when I walked from the cottage to the center of town, past the Patisserie and down to the Saturday marche.

Oh, Tom, 20 years of memories flood back. It was 1988 when I spent 6 weeks in Honfleur, picking wild blackberries and fraises (wild strawberries) which were growing outside the door of the cottage, walking through the old, old cemetery and walking along the Seine estuary. Mrs. Jolibois, the matriarch of the  family that owned the cottage (she walked halfway across France during WWII to trade her jewelry to get her husband out of a French Nazi prison camp during the occupation) was surprised that we picked the blackberries. They were not worth picking unless there were enough to make jam. They didn't eat them any other way. We loved them as a breakfast treat with a warm croissant and strong French coffee.

What a time. What memories. Thanks again my friend.

A singer from NYC sent me a friend request. Turns out he was looking for another me.

Maybe I should send a message to the wrong Jeff that he is the wrong Jeff. ;D

So how is this going to go...."Dear Jeff, you are the wrong Jeff." LOL

Yup, something like that.  I really sent it, :-[ now I'm cracking up.

Hey, I just found a group on Face Book for people with my last name!  How cool is THAT???

Thanks for the idea, DR Singdaw!  Who knows, I may find some family out there.

How do you find Groups on Facebook?
I just stumbled on one when I looked up my last name.  I'm not sure how people are finding all those other ones.

I looked the guy up.  I can only assume your wine was laced with copious amounts of LSD and/or magic mushrooms if you thought he resembled me in any way, shape or form.   ;D

I can quote but I can't modify posts or delet delete them

Never mind....I forgot I can only do that to my own posts, lol...

This seems very odd?  Weren't you able to before today?  This is the first I've heard of this.  I can delete and modify and I know some others here have been able to, so is there something that got switched in a setting?

Yes, it's fine,  I was looking at the other posts wondering what happened to modify and delete. As soon as I posted, there they were, lol. Of course I can't modify and delete other peoples posts.... Never mind

I am the same person who looked all over the house for my wrist watch only to find it on my wrist

 ;D  Thanks, I feel better now ;)

Little June or Jan or Jean or whatever she's named, sitting quietly in the den, hallucinating in front of her computer.  Such a cozy image.

That's the one I found.  Of course he could be my long lost twin, I'm sure you'd all agree.

I tried to post some test photos on face book and here.  I managed to get them to post to face book without having to do anything to them but I couldn't get them to post at all here.

It's getting time for me to sign off.  I have some other things to do before I retire for the evening.

Good night all!

No, it's Jeff H Kaufman who deserves it.

Who... this guy??

That's my pal Jeff Kaufman, who is a film music agent, and who I've known since he worked at the old Aron's records in the 1970s.

And when DR Singdaw - or DRs td, TCB, etc - drink - what ensues cannot be posted on a family site.   :o

I'm surprised we have ANY posts, what with this mad obsession with Facebook.  Of course, had many of you actually read Murder At The Grove, you would have known all about Facebook.
