Had a good meeting with sound designer, then set designer.  He had several great ideas, but all based around one simple idea.  He knew which one I'd like and he was pretty much right, although it's combining two ideas into one.

Then I picked up one package and one of the two important envelopes I've been waiting on (not sure if the other will arrive in a timely fashion, but will inquire come Monday), then came home and the Darling Daughter and I went to Barone's and shared a pizza - I had four slices, which, in any regular-sized pizza, would really be about two and a half.  We each had a salad.  We gabbed and it was fun.  She's on her way back to her friend's house now, and I may see her next Friday for something weird but amusing to both of us.

The reviews for the new Star Is Born are surprisingly good, good as in raves.

Finished a very long Bollywood revenge thriller called Mom.  Give me an edit bay and two days and I'd get it down to ninety minutes and you'd actually have an enjoyable little film.
