Last week I mentioned I was worried about the cat at the nice bookstore in town.  We have been visiting Orlando since we moved here 10½ years ago. We loved this big sweet guy. :'(

Fingers crossed for Kyra and The Closer to win SAG awards tonight!

If they win will they be able to afford a decent post-production editor to do trailers? I'm so sick of Tinker Bell flying glittering circles around head-shots.

der Brucer

That's not the editors, it's what they are mandated to use by the department heads and art director.

Then fire the department heads and art director and get some creative talent (preferably ones with eye-sight).

LOL DR Edi.  I doubt she has heard of Randy Newman though!

SAG SPOILER

I am surprised Hugh Laurie won considering the "slip" in House scripts this season .

Ooohhh...I see what you mean. I haven't been watching TNT. They are going a little crazy with the graphics!

BTW, the new show TRUST ME---I saw the pilot and I think it changed somewhat but it's a really good show, probably my favorite since THE CLOSER.

I set it to record.  If we really like it we have a problem.  Monday nights are full.  They only reason it set to record this Monday is that BIG BANG THEORY is a rerun.

The two-hour red carpet arrival of stars has just started on both E! and the TV Guide channel.  The actual SAG Awards are tape delayed for the West Coast. :-\

Just had to share.

Tape delayed.  DerBrucer, that means a much greater space between SPOILER & the info.  I actually saw the info before the big bold spoiler.  LOL-blame it on my eyes.

I don't care so I'm fine.

Actually, in the case of the SAG Awards, I don't really care, either. ;)

My favorite bookstore in NY closed over a year ago. It was the one place I would always visit without fail whenever I went to NY. They always had at least one orange tabby in residence. Their last cat in residence before they closed was Pynchon, who was massive. Here's a great article about him...I wonder what happened to him?

Nice article, and while it isn't stated I suspect Pynchon when home every night instead of sleeping in the store.

That was the nicest editing of a tribute montage I've seen in quite some time.

I guess I've never seen her before. Why do people do that to themselves? I just don't get it...

I had to look her up.  It seems she is from Medford, where MBarnum hails from.  I tried to find a before photo to compare.

I didn't know that Sam Bottoms had died. I worked on a movie with him back in the 80's. Bad movie, but nice guy... :-(

That would be my guess her lips have grown significantly since she was on Days....

Was never a big fan of hers.

I didn't either.  I had to search a bit to find he had a brain tumor :(

Sorry I have been scarce... Too many things going on and puter problems at home.

I do have a question for JRAND... When will the energy balance out for my puter?
