Gee, DR td, that's the nicest offer I've had all day. Maybe even all week.

We Hainsies and Kimlets (and Nancy boys, too) must stick together through thick and through thin.

PLUS, I like marzipan.

Oh, and my name was spelled incorrectly on the letter from them!

Only the US can mess up Anna ;)

I hope things go better-- what a mess! It's like having your identity taken away from you!

I was just whisked away by the son of a preacher man. Lucky me. I think it was track by Nancy & The Figs. Thanks td. Always a difficult task to cover Dusty records and it really is great.

Good evening all!You fire up that DVD player or put the Sci Fi channel on, I'll bring the sodas and Jane can bring the popcorn.  I hope you've got a big comfortable couch.

I can't speak for Jane but I'll watch Sci Fi/fantasy till the cows go back out.   ;D

What are we going to watch besides Stargate?  Dark Shadows?  Babylon 5?  The Dune movies?  How about The Stand for a change of pace?  Then the 10th Kingdom.  Then The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.  for starters.

Why not speak for me since I did for you earlier and included you as a watcher of Stargate.  :) The popcorn sounds great.  I will have to take Keith as he never misses Stargate or popcorn.  Now if we could only bring back Farscape.  Actually they are supposed to be making more episodes to wrap up the series ending that left us dangling with a big question mark.  I should have paid more attention to Babylon 5 as our neighbor directed a number of the episodes.

Does anyone remember Science Fiction Theater hosted by Truman Bradley?

Whatever your point, Tomovoz, it was certainly an interesting post.

I once wrote a TV-movie (well, co-wrote with my ex-husband) about a woman who discovers she's adopted when, because of a medical emergency, she tries to get her family medical history from her loving father and he is forced to admit he does not know it. There was an incredible outpouring of letters from viewers. The story really hit a nerve.

Was this the one with Melissa Gilbert and Patty Duke?  The one in which Gilbert learns of her real mother and has to cope with getting the woman to finally admit to having a child?

If so, I've seen it and it's wonderful

Well,if you ever want to watch one of the better sci fi shows ever made, Babylon 5 is it.  I mean that.  I didn't like it at first but I didn't understand what was going on.

Sorry I don't remember Sci Fi Theater.

I'm watching Cowboy U as I type this.  I didn't know it was reality show.  I haven't seen Bruce's name in the credits but they roll by so fast, I can hardly read them.

Had to laugh a little at the gal who couldn't do the barrel race.  Little girls do that-- but I guess it's different when your older and never been around a horse before.

Panni I remember you posting your problem awhile back. I’m sure this is unnerving and you’re right, you do not need this.  Good vibes for straightening this out in a reasonable amount of time.  Please don’t let it ruin your weekend.  Do you feel better after eating?

Archie should have a speedy recovery now he is home with you.  I’m sure you both feel much better. :)

Wow. I'm reading the posts backwards and am finding all this nice stuff.  Bet you don't remember who played Melissa Gilbert's estranged husband?... It was Eric McCormack (sp?) of WILL AND GRACE, in what must have been one of his first major American roles.

td: Are you familiar with a song called "I'm Down" by The Hollies (1974)? You maybe able to download it from somewhere. I only have it on record. The only of which I am aware song that covers "our" topic.

Correction: Yesterday I posted that Roger Rees played George in the reading of WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA W with Uta Hagen..  It was actually Jonathan Pryce. Mia Farrow was Honey, but I still can't recall who Nick was.

MONK was delightful tonight.

One of the nice little extras that Time Warner digital cable offers us is several cable channels of On Demand programming for free. I flipped to Biography Channel on Demand, and there was Charles Dickens which I had never seen, and it was a wonderful 46 minute capsule of his life.

Those On Demand Channels (they also offer BBC America and Home and Garden among others) are so nice because you choose which show you want and can start and stop at will, rewind, etc, just like a recording and no commercials. Really great way to catch up on things you've missed. I wish they'd put THE OFFICE in the BBC AMerica On Demand selections. It'd be so much fun to program which episodes of that I'd like to see. I'm sure it will turn up eventually, but it wasn't among the offerings tonight. They change the offerings every month.

Speaking of MONK, if you don't get USA, I see that ABC is going to run episodes of the series on Saturday nights at 10 EST now. That should afford most people the chance to sample the show if you think you might be interested.

There were actually three episodes of Cowboy U on tonight.  If you didn't see the one-hour premiere then you didn't see my show.  But, those credits do go by fast.  The barrel race, for example, is not in show one.

I HATE MARZIPAN.  Just back from a faboo dinner with the Pogues and our very own Tammy Minoff, who I haven't seen in over six months.  It was fun to catch up and Miss Tammy sends everyone her love.

haineshisway.com vibes and xylophones do work their wonders, I must say.

I'm taping "Cowboy U" so I can freeze frame the credits.  I'll try and watch them Sunday or Monday.  Tomorrow I have to go to work to make up some time this week and tomorrow night I'm usher for Kate Clinton, so I'll be out most of the day.

BK, the credits just scrawled on the one-hour premiere and I saw your credit.  Julieanne and I have decided to tape the other two episodes and watch the whole thing tomorrow, so I probably won't have report for you tomorrow at the show.  Dinner was indeed faboo and all that fine talk about S.T.'s!
