JRand my father told me a similar, though force was not involved, secret regarding a relative.  A few years ago, with great hinting & taking the long away around the history, my brother & I discovered we had both been told the secret.  As far as I know we are the only two, no three as I told Keith, people who know.

I love that! My favorites are maize, squash and potatoes, mountain lion, pronghorn and water from the local stream.

If you ever make it to DC, be sure to try the restaurant in the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian.  Some of the best food in the Smithsonian's cafeteria system - and in DC too.

I am watching an episode of Intervention featuring a young war veteran- it is heartbreaking as are many of the episodes. It always amazes me how people can be so blind to how they have hurt each other.

I was bored and disappointed by the JOHN ADAMS mini on HBO.

That is what my brother said.   I enjoyed the book, as did he, and would have watch it except for the fact we don't get HBO.

Cilla, good news you got home last night and weren’t stranded in Denver.  I hope your ear feels better today.

Great pic Dakota.  I love Bryce and hope to return there one day.

As the token Utahn on HHW, may I say I spent many an idyllic summer in and around Logan (especially Bear Lake) as a child.  Also, I performed the completely strange play The Falling Sickness there when I was in high school, to an audience of slack-jawed yokels who didn't quite get the part where all three characters attacked each other with bowling pins. ;D

We had a nice if chaotic weekend with Betsy's family, and I managed to watch review copies of Bee Movie, Enchanted and the Taye Diggs series Day Break.  Enchanted was best.  ;)

Mental health days are very important, especially in the helping professions.  I've been known to take one from time to time.

I just learned via my friend Craig Rhyne that one of the persons still missing from Saturday's East side crane disaster is CABARET's original Sally Bowles, Jill Haworth.

Wikipedia indicates she was rescued.

Haworth was the star of one of my favorite cheesy horror films from the 1960s:

VIBES would be appreciated for my cubicle neighbor, who has just been diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer.  She's in her 40's.

TOD - Somewhere That's Green

My time on the Island is over, and I can say that ONCE I did this show I fell in love with it and was very sad to see the run end.  Those of us that do this for a living know that you don't say that very often.  Now it's off to Skid Row and the tales of Audrey and Seymour, which is shaping up to be really good, just not as fun and exciting as Once On This Island.  When Little Shop ends in April, I can't believe this, but I am show-less until I start the summer program I'm working on in June.  I'll be MDing Mulan Jr. and Damn Yankees which will be fun with kids.  And then.... then... I can't WAIT for this one... I begin rehearsing Into The Woods on August 3 or 5 or something like that.

re: BLOOD BROTHERS

When it first came out a friend and i were both obcessed with the London cast recording. We would listen to petula over and over.

We loved it so much that we went to toronto to see their production. I know we liked the cd more. But i can't remember (it was so long ago) if we liked the production or just thought it was okay. I'm thinking that we missed petula and wished we had gotten to see her!
