Hi all! It's 3:26 AM. I went and got something to eat and then came back to room and crashed. I think it was only about 7 or 8 when I laid down.
Lovely pictures, dear TCB! I'm also glad that your friend, Stan is doing better.
DR td, I don't know if I'll have time for a visit but I'll try. Can you send me the address of that mall we met at and when you'll be there? I'm sorry but I don't have your phone number with me. I don't know what time I'll be able to pop by but it will be sometime during the day. I wouldn't want to try driving around after dark. All those curves/hills are ok in the daytime but I wouldn't want to try it at night.
I had hoped to met up with Debi and the family but I didn't get any response to my emails that I was coming up. I sent the time my flight would arrive so they know I'm here but they never said anything about meeting. I guess they already had plans and I don't want to be a bother.
Guess I'd better try to get some more sleep.
Laters all! :)

LATIMES (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/shopping_blog/2008/11/thinking-of-goi.html)
Thinking of going Blu-ray? Hold on for the holidays.
The bad news is that the economy is in a tailspin. The good news is that it might result in plunging prices for consumer electronic products during the coming holiday shopping season, especially for Blu-ray disc players that show movies in high-definition. "There's talk of Blu-ray players hitting $200 pricing or even $149 for older models or less-known brands," said Ross Robin, analyst for NPD Group.
The $149ers probably won't have BD-live, an Internet hookup for downloadable games, IM chat and other online features designed for Blu-ray. But if you care only about watching movies in high-def on your HDTV, you can skip the newfangled online stuff.
AT $149 - I'm in!.

Count me in, too! :D Actually, I just bought "March of the Penguins" on Blu-ray at Costco yesterday for only $11.99 (plus tax)! I don't have a Blu-ray player, yet but there's no reason I can't start getting titles, if they're inexpensive. :)

Topic of the Day: Eggnog is good! But I've never had "real" eggnog. I don't know how it would be. :-\
YEARS ago (when I was in middle or high school), our family used to go to a restaurant just a few blocks from where we lived. They had a build-your-own omelet and I would always get it with mozzarella cheese, bacon and pineapple. It was so good. I haven't had (or thought about) anything like that in years.

Educating Kimmel - Chapter 82
PHRASES (http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/kit-and-caboodle.html)
The words kit and caboodle have rather similar meanings.
A kit - is set of objects, as in a toolkit, or what a soldier would put in his kit-bag.
A caboodle (or boodle) - is an archaic term meaning group or collection, usually of people.
There are several phrases similar to the whole kit and caboodle, which is first recorded in that form in 1884. Most of them are of US origin and all the early citations are American. Caboodle was never in common use outside the USA and now has died out everywhere, apart from its use in this phrase.

I plan to order the MGM Classic Musicals Volume 3 from DDD - but will wait until tomorrow when The Boys in the Band is released as well.

Good morning, all! I'm off to Toyland and physical therapy. I finished the chart for Jo Loesser so now I'm back to my church job.
Last night I watched THE AMAZING RACE; since Nick is a friend, I don't find him evil but devious; as he keeps saying, he's playing a game. I find the divorcees evil in their continued rudeness and pettiness.
After that I turned to Showtime on Demand and watched the first episode of Season 3 of BROTHERHOOD, which I'm happy to see back on the air.

Good morning, DR KERRY.

I think the top two teams from last night are becoming my favorites this season....

I am not a big fan of the incredible edible egg although have had to eat many through the years. My favorite two egg dishes are deviled eggs (which I gave the basic recipe to DR Laura since there is no real recipe for the way I make them) and the eggs that one must put in potato salad.
Eggs are fine for cakes and French toast.

I have three remaining episodes of HAWAII FIVE-O which I should have no trouble completing this afternoon. Tonight, instead of starting on a new review disc, I'll work on watching and clearing out some of last week's shows on the DVR. The only thing I would caution about Blu-ray upconversion via HDMI is that some players (like my Samsung) do not properly recognize aspect ratios for older films and will "stretch" a 1.33:1 image to fit the 16:9 screen. Since my television doesn't allow for a "sidebar" option in the screen mode choices via HDMI (and why is that, I wonder?), it makes for an annoyance. The funny thing is my Toshiba HD-DVD player recognizes all aspect ratios correctly.
-
Well, as luck would have it, I need to head down now and get ready for lunch. It's going to be a late lunch, so the sooner I get ready, the sooner I get to watching HAWAII FIVE-O episodes before my ride picks me up.

That seems very odd. My Samsung player handles all aspect ratios with ease. Of course, my 1500 was a later model than your combo player.

The kids are off school today and tomorrow. Is it a federal holiday today? There was nothing in the paper like there usually is.
I am struggling to get through this massive A&E Adventure Collection. I did manage to get several reviews live this weekend, including a slew )(slough?) of Blu-rays, but there is still a massive stack to be tackled.

I got forwarded the following from Melissa Etheridge - I thought I'd share it:
You Can Forget My Taxes
by Melissa Etheridge
Okay. So Prop 8 passed. Alright, I get it. 51% of you think that I am a second class citizen. Alright then. So my wife, uh I mean, roommate? Girlfriend? Special lady friend? You are gonna have to help me here because I am not sure what to call her now. Anyways, she and I are not allowed the same right under the state constitution as any other citizen. Okay, so I am taking that to mean I do not have to pay my state taxes because I am not a full citizen. I mean that would just be wrong, to make someone pay taxes and not give them the same rights, sounds sort of like that taxation without representation thing from the history books.
Okay, cool I don't mean to get too personal here but there is a lot I can do with the extra half a million dollars that I will be keeping instead of handing it over to the state of California. Oh, and I am sure Ellen will be a little excited to keep her bazillion bucks that she pays in taxes too. Wow, come to think of it, there are quite a few of us fortunate gay folks that will be having some extra cash this year. What recession? We're gay! I am sure there will be a little box on the tax forms now single, married, divorced, gay, check here if you are gay, yeah, that's not so bad. Of course all of the waiters and hairdressers and UPS workers and gym teachers and such, they won't have to pay their taxes either.
Oh and too bad California, I know you were looking forward to the revenue from all of those extra marriages. I guess you will have to find some other way to get out of the budget trouble you are in.
...Really?
When did it become okay to legislate morality? I try to envision someone reading that legislation "eliminates the right" and then clicking yes. What goes through their mind? Was it the frightening commercial where the little girl comes home and says, "Hi mom, we learned about gays in class today" and then the mother gets that awful worried look and the scary music plays? Do they not know anyone who is gay? If they do, can they look them in the face and say "I believe you do not deserve the same rights as me"? Do they think that their children will never encounter a gay person? Do they think they will never have to explain the 20% of us who are gay and living and working side by side with all the citizens of California?
I got news for them, someday your child is going to come home and ask you what a gay person is. Gay people are born everyday. You will never legislate that away.
I know when I grew up gay was a bad word. Homo, lezzie, faggot, dyke. Ignorance and fear ruled the day. There were so many "thems" back then. The blacks, the poor ... you know, "them". Then there was the immigrants. "Them." Now the them is me.
I tell myself to take a breath, okay take another one, one of the *thems* made it to the top. Obama has been elected president. This crazy fearful insanity will end soon. This great state and this great country of ours will finally come to the understanding that there is no "them". We are one. We are united. What you do to someone else you do to yourself. That "judge not, lest ye yourself be judged" are truthful words and not Christian rhetoric.
Today the gay citizenry of this state will pick themselves up and dust themselves off and do what we have been doing for years. We will get back into it. We love this state, we love this country and we are not going to leave it. Even though we could be married in Mass. or Conn, Canada, Holland, Spain and a handful of other countries, this is our home. This is where we work and play and raise our families. We will not rest until we have the full rights of any other citizen. It is that simple, no fearful vote will ever stop us, that is not the American way.
Come to think of it, I should get a federal tax break too...
-
Good Morning!
I'm up, I'm up... And, yes, I slept in again this morning. However, for some almost-unknown reason, I decided to read through - a.k.a. practice - some piano music last night before I went to bed. I actually ended up reading through the Chopin "Preludes" - which, I realized, was the first time I had ever read through all of them. -I guess I was a bad piano major in college. ;)
-
I think Miss Etheridge is on to something - want the courts to do the right thing? Every gay in the State of California refuses to pay their State income tax. Let me tell you how fast things will change.

Content aside, if you're looking for the most amazing picture and sound design I've experienced, it's no doubt the Wachowski Brothers' SPEED RACER. Some people hated the film, I thought it was a ton of fun.
If you're a fan of anime, I also highly recommend the new VEXILLE.

Oh well, DR JMK, I wouldn't buy a Samsung anyway. I always buy the most trusted electronics brands like Joe's TeeVee or Mrs. Ferguson's DeeVeeDee Player DeeLux.

Samsung had a new firmware upgrade (released just last Friday) but it alas did not address the AR problem. I "chatted" with a snippy little tech rep about the problem who said he'd report it, after informing me he was well aware of aspect ratios. I had never said he wasn't aware, I was simply describing the problem.

I really loved last night's episode. I also do not find nick or starr mean at all. They seem like very nice people. Although they are very competitive and perhaps a bit sneaky. They are not obligated to help others. The divorcees i agree always came across as mean. I never liked them. And i was praying they would go last night. They had started to do better. But again last night they were just awful. Mistake every mistake. Telling their taxi to leave. Pulling down those clues and running back for each one. Not looking for the little numbers on the wire. OMG that was a lot for one episode!
I am surprised at mother/son. I did not think they would last this long. Frats lucked out with tina's help. Boy did she look like a witch with that green hair. I was glad they were able to stay. They are annoying at times. But very competively strong.

After I left the Apple Store, I stopped into Patelson's to browse the sheet music bins - it's been a while since I've done any sort of sheet music browsing and/or shopping. I did have a few items in mind, but they did not have them in stock. However, they did have the new-ish editions of the piano music of Claude Debussy. I have read about these editions, but had not held one in my hand for personal inspection. Well, it's a very handsome edition, and price-wise, they're actually cheaper than some of the "Editions Originales" still on the shelves. And if I buy them through the music store I used to work at, well... In short, I think I may have found my Christmas gift to myself this year. :)

But we are NOT replacing all our DVDs with the Blu-Ray editions. New stuff, OK, I'm fine by that, but the old titles will remain as they are.
So there!
...And right after I read this post this morning, I saw two commercials about price rollbacks on Blu-Ray Players at Wal-Mart and Circuit City (which, remember, just filed for bankruptcy protection again today).

TOD: Favorite egg dish: The quiche at Le Pan Quotidien
I cook eggs at home almost every weekend, and usually fix them scrambled, with sauteed onions and tomatoes from my garden, fresh basil, feta and a little tabasco, rooled up in a whole wheat tortilla.
Now that tomato season is over, I will make them with a little non-fat cheese and some mole made by Zolcalo, here in Atlanta. (They sell their mole at the outdoor market near our house.)
I also love eggs florentine!
Favorite egg song: Mercer's "Steal Two Eggs".

Re: collecting. As my ever-tolerant DS Betsy will tell you, we have a houseful of FF memorabilia which I've spent more money on than I care to think about, especially in this economic climate. I do have some very, very rare items, though, including FF's original passport, tons of personal letters and other correspondence, contracts, scripts for several films as well as her own typewritten (with handwritten annotations) scripts for her television series, and on and on. And that doesn't even include the "standard" stuff like photos, pressbooks, lobby cards, etc. I really don't know what's going to happen to all of this stuff when I shuffle off this mortal coil, I doubt that any other human other than perhaps JR would have the slightest interest in it. :)
-
The list of side effects was sort of scary though.
It is rather disconcerting.
Here we fill out a form that asks if you are allergic to eggs (how appropriate today) and if you are you can't get the shot. I'm not sure if there is anything else that might cause an immediate reaction.
After complaining for years I add to wait at the allergist office & then experiencing a severe reaction, I would say the wait 15 minute policy is a good one.

What,in your valued opinions, are the 5 Best Blu-Ray Titles to Buy to show off the new format?
Picture Quality:
THE FIFTH ELEMENT, KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, CASINO ROYALE, DREAMGIRLS, RATATOUILLE.
(Lots of other people would select BLADE RUNNER, TRANSFORMERS, SPEED RACER, THE LAST SAMAURI, but there are many choices.)
HD Sound:
BATMAN BEGINS, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN (any or all 3), CASINO ROYALE, CARS, CHICAGO.

I finally finished HAWAII FIVE-O watching two episodes before I went to lunch and one when I returned. There was a nice variation on TWELVE ANGRY MEN and I enjoyed Simon Oakland and a very young Erik Estrada in another episode.
-
Next, I finished last night's BROTHERS & SISTERS. I was glad the resident did not change her mind about giving Kitty and Robert her baby. That would have been the predictable thing to do. This had a bit of a surprise. They are making Holly back into the snake she was during season one.

I skimmed through AS THE WORLD TURNS (I had forgotten to switch the automatic record off, so I went ahead and watched it. Nothing today, but the boys are on tomorrow.

And I ended my afternoon watching about half of the season finale of MAD MEN. Glad the encoding problems seem to have been straightened out. It played just fine. I have about 20 minutes more to watch which I'll start on when I go back down later today.

No doubt the world will be relieved to know that my PC has made friends with a new printer and they seem to have no problem communicating. Of course the replaced printer had just had it's ink cartridges replaced before it died - and the model is no longer in production and the cartridges are not used in the new one (or alternatives available). The replaced printer was probably four years old and worked hard - my expectations are of course unrealistic.

They do ask if you are allergic to eggs. But since the shot is different this year, they say that even if you didn't have a reaction in other years you still could have one this year.
They really do their job here though. i mean besides the pamphlet and the stern discussion they did strongly state that i had to wait the 15 minutes. Because obviously if you are driving and you go into shock it would be very bad.
-
The first I heard of Australia (the movie, not the country/continent) was when Russell Crowe was insisting on being paid more money to play the part that instead went to Jackman.
Who is much better looking, imo, even when he has his shirt on.
I'll gladly overlook Kidman to look on him! :D
-
I just finished an interesting book called Bringing home the birkin (michael tonello). I'm guessing a lot of people here would find it very amusing. It's sort of different for me (since it's non-fiction). But it was very funny.
Next I am going to start Shoe Addicts Anonymous. It's sort of odd because i've already read the sequel (the library got the 2nd one first). Although apparently only one character is the same.
When i finish that i have One Fifth Avenue (Candace Bushnell's new book).
And then Attack of the Theatre people (marc acito).
And I believe the library also has (for me) Nicolas Sparks new book (or one of them), The lucky one.
Has anyone read any of these?
-
Aww, Hugh Jackman brought Tim-Tams for Oprah and everyone in the audience!

I was not sure where they were headed re: the adoption. I agree, what they did was less predictable. I wonder if that will be the end of it. I mean it was interesting finding out the woman was a) black/korean with the baby's daddy white. And b) that she was not young and c) a doctor.
I just did not see any of that coming. And then for her to take back the baby. IT seemed cruel. So i will be interested to see what will happen. I really would like kitty/robert to get a baby.

Dear Jose - I don't see any reason why I should complain about the iPhone - it works great and I love it.
Just remember:
There's currently no "cut and paste", nor "copy and paste" available. -And, alas, it looks like that capability is low on Apple's "iPhone To-Do" list for now.
There are a couple of Apps that allow you to use the "landscape keyboard" for your Mail replies. However, there are still no Apps for using the "landscape keyboard" for text messages.
*I still love my iPhone (too), and unlike some of my friends, I've been very "lucky" with the standard features and connectivity. However, it does seem that Apple has been quietly acknowledging that there are some "dud iPhones" out there... "Oh, well, it looks like we're going to have to replace your iPhone at no cost to you."

SOUTH AFRICAN SINGING LEGEND MIRIAM MAKEBA DIES ON STAGE
JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (Nov. 10) -- Miriam Makeba, the South African singer who wooed the world with her sultry voice but was banned from her own country for more than 30 years under apartheid, died after collapsing on stage in Italy. She was 76.
In her dazzling career, Makeba performed with musical legends from around the world — jazz maestros Nina Simone and Dizzy Gillespie, Harry Belafonte, Paul Simon — and sang for world leaders such as John F. Kennedy and Nelson Mandela

For Remembrance Day here tomorrow (canada) many people where poppies on their jackets (actually for weeks before the day). I always thought they did that in many countries. I'm now assuming they don't do this in the US. But do they do it elsewhere?
Actually, the wearing of Red Poppies as Remembrance started in the US for our Memorial Day (May 31), and then spread world wide as a Tribute to Servicmen killed in WWI. (The basic thought, however, started with a Canadian poet)
ARMED FORCE LINK (http://www.af.mil/news/story.asp?storyID=123007844)
During World War I, red poppies were seen to be among the first living plants that sprouted in the battlefields of northern France and Belgium. Soldiers' folklore had it that the poppies were vivid red from having been nurtured in ground drenched with the blood of their comrades. The sight of the poppies on the battlefield at Ypres in 1915 moved Canadian Army Lt. Col. John McCrae to write the poem "In Flanders Fields."
Moira Michael, an American, read McCrae's poem and was so moved by it that she wrote a reply and decided to wear a red poppy as a way of keeping faith, as McCrae urged in his poem and she replied with her own poem:
We cherish too, the Poppy red
That grows on fields where valor led,
It seems to signal to the skies
That blood of heroes never dies.
She then conceived of an idea to wear red poppies on Memorial Day in honor of those who died serving the nation during war. She was the first to wear one, and sold poppies to her friends and co-workers with the money going to benefit servicemen in need. Michael worked for the American YMCA and at a meeting of YMCA secretaries from other countries, held in November 1918, she discussed the poem and her poppies.
Madame Guerin, the French YMCA secretary, was similarly inspired and she approached organizations throughout the allied nations to sell poppies to raise money for widows, orphans and needy veterans and their families. This tradition spread to other countries. In 1948 the U.S. Post Office honored Michael for her role in founding the National Poppy movement by issuing a red 3 cent stamp with her likeness on it.

I tried not to mention "It's a Small World" to Mr. Sherman because I thought it might elicit groans. But I did tell him how much I loved his music for the Tiki Room at Disney. PORTABLE NUCLEAR 'HOT TUBS' COULD POWER AMERICA (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,449624,00.html)
Yes, I DO want a nuclear reactor in my back yard.
That's what Hyperion Power Generation, a small Santa Fe, N.M.-based startup, hopes lots of utility and energy companies say over the next few years as it prepares to build and market small, self-contained, portable nuclear reactors that need almost no oversight or maintenance.
"Our goal is to generate electricity for 10 cents a watt anywhere in the world," Hyperion CEO John Deal told Britain's Observer newspaper in an article published Sunday. "They will cost approximately $25 million each. For a community with 10,000 households, that is a very affordable $2,500 per home."
In fact, Hyperion claims its sealed, buried reactors, which would be 10-15 feet long and about 10 feet wide, could power 20,000 homes for 7 to 10 years. At that point they'd be dug up and hauled back to the plant for refueling.
The portable, self-regulating nuclear reactor isn't a new one, and many companies and organizations have been trying to develop them.
Based on the low-maintenance TRIGA research reactors found at many American universities, the various designs all use a form of liquid metal to both carry the excess heat away from the core reaction and to absorb stray neutrons, moderating the reaction should it approach meltdown.
Toshiba has been developing a portable reactor, dubbed Rapid-L, that uses liquid lithium-6 as coolant and moderator, while the Department of Energy's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's SSTAR design (Small, Sealed, Transportable Autonomous Reactor) uses liquid lead hydride instead.
Both use traditional solid low-enriched uranium as fuel.
…
Not sure I like the adjective "autonomous" associated with my backyard reactor.

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (Nov. 10) -- Miriam Makeba, the South African singer who wooed the world with her sultry voice but was banned from her own country for more than 30 years under apartheid, died after collapsing on stage in Italy. She was 76.
In her dazzling career, Makeba performed with musical legends from around the world jazz maestros Nina Simone and Dizzy Gillespie, Harry Belafonte, Paul Simon and sang for world leaders such as John F. Kennedy and Nelson Mandela

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us!
I just wish I could get a picture of Buster stretched out on the widow sill, calming watching the show. (Unless, of course, the cat shows up!)
der Brucer
I have so far resisted hassling the cat - she shows up often, but doesn't linger; she justs looks about and then heads back into the marsh - I think she's more intested in ground rodents than birds. I assume she's a pet from the next development - she's much too "well cared-for" looking to be feral. She's almost all snow white with patches of orange on her haunches. If she'd linger longer I'd get a picture. (And the "she" is an assumption - she walks like a lady.)

Here we fill out a form that asks if you are allergic to eggs (how appropriate today) and if you are you can't get the shot. I'm not sure if there is anything else that might cause an immediate reaction.
Here they also ask if you are allergic to latex.
Maybe your doctor had other reasons for asking that question.

For Remembrance Day here tomorrow (canada) many people where poppies on their jackets (actually for weeks before the day). I always thought they did that in many countries. I'm now assuming they don't do this in the US. But do they do it elsewhere?
In the United States, poppys are normally worn on Memorial Day, rather than Veteran's Day.

I would say it is far more popular to wear poppies where you live than anywhere I have lived in the U.S. I personally can't ever remember wearing one. It must be nice to see your many people wearing them.

I don't recall wearing poppies either. I guess the closest thing would be the Yellow Ribbons for the men and women overseas.

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders Fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders Fields.
John McCrae, 1915.

I've worn poppies every year at Memorial Day and Veterans day. The Vets and the Auxilliary give them out. When I was a kid they used to pay us a penny a poppy to give them away and collect donations. I did that every year.

When I was growing up in Philly, they were ubiquitous on Memorial Day. (Red paper poppies with a VFW white tag attached). (If you weren't wearing one you would be constantly solicited!).

Poppies were originally worn to honor the war dead. In Canada, that would be Remembrance Day. In the United States, they can be worn for either Veteran's Day or Memorial Day. However, they have tried to emphasize them on Memorial Day, so that Veteran's Day could be used to honor all Veterans, both living and dead.
-
All I know is they are handing them out here right now, so I'm assuming they are focusing on both holidays

There was a re-dedication last Saturday of the Veteran's Memorial in my town. Each nine-piece poppy is made by veterans for veterans in Auxiliary sponsored Poppy Shops that supplement physical and psychological therapy needed by hospitalized and disabled veterans. The Auxiliary provides the materials and the volunteers. The veteran makes the poppy and is paid a small amount for each painstakingly made flower. For some it is their only income.
No matter what the cost of maintaining and supplying the Poppy Shops, the memorial poppy is never sold, but given in exchange for a contribution.

And his young wife Kathryn appeared on Frances' television show when Kathryn came through Indy playing Peter Pan.
Late in her life, Bing also set Frances up to be the television spokeswoman for an Orange Juice company...he was the spokesMAN, but Frances decided to express herself a bit too harshly in the final meeting with the company executives.....and lost the $50,000 endorsement she could have really used.....

Had a mostly enjoyable evening of program watching.
I began by finishing the season finale of MAD MEN. My goodness, even a classy show like this has its own kind of cliffhangers. I'm so glad the show was renewed for another season.
-
Next, I watched DEXTER from last night. I'm still liking this season very much though the intensity, of course, doesn't compare to last season. Kind of nice that's it's exploring different venues of Dexter's life.
-
Then I watched SMALLVILLE from last Thursday. Good episode, but characters certainly do change on the show quite freely.
-
I watched a dvd. It was a motion picture entitled SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS. Great movie, I must say. It was my first time.
-
I didn't have time to watch any Blu-rays that I hadn't yet gotten to all the way through, so I pulled out HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX to watch as much as I could before I started on my two prime time shows off the DVR.
HBO-HD has been showing this film a lot so far this month, but, of course, they use the reformatted 1.78:1 version, and I prefer the OAR.

I'm back from the Alex and Most Happy Fella, about which more in a little while. I shipped out nine hundred CDs and I only have a few priority boxes sitting here, which will go out Wednesday morning, since I gather there's no mail Tuesday. It got pretty scary for a minute when I didn't think I had enough discs. As it is, I have to short an eBay speculator by fifty discs - I warned him that might happen, though. When all was said and done and done and said, I have about twenty CDs left, which I keep for emergencies/lost CDs, etc.
