Today I see an acupuncturist for the first time in several years, to see if they can alleviate this bothersome lower back pain (which has extended down to my left heel) that I have had chronically since my bout with kidney stones. I went to an acupuncturist several years ago who magically lowered my blood pressure almost overnight, so I am hopeful.Did the acupuncturist help with the kidney stones? I've been blessed with those on a recurring basis and could always use some help in that area.
I just tried to post a photo again and it keeps telling me the file is too large. Oh, well. I'll have to have my nephew help me with it when I see him this weekend!

Just thought I'd ask. Those kidney stones can be extremely painful, so any remedy is worth investigating.Today I see an acupuncturist for the first time in several years, to see if they can alleviate this bothersome lower back pain (which has extended down to my left heel) that I have had chronically since my bout with kidney stones. Didn't see the acupuncturist for the kidney stones. I saw one years ago for blood pressure, and she was able to bring it down right away. Today I am going for chronic pain in my lower left back which has been plaguing me since I had kidney stones last December.

SPOILER FOR LEAP OF FAITH
And if the ties to 110 weren't blatantly in your face, then perhaps the fact that the town of Sweetwater (close to Sweetriver?) is having a terrible drought and at the end of the play - it rains.
And if the ties to The Music Man (sans any of the charm) weren't blatantly in your face, there's a red-headed kid with an infirmity (closer to Meredith Willson's original version of Winthrop rather than the stutterer he became).

Vibes to DR George on his first day at the new job.
So, training vibes, then. Which sound too much like training wheels, which I'm sure you don't need.Vibes to DR George on his first day at the new job.
Thanks, John, but it's not really my first "official" day...I'm being trained on some things that I don't know, but I think next Monday will be my first day alone!
I hope the director can be ruthless enough to make "Leap of Faith" work. I think audiences are always suckers for the "Rainmaker/110" and "Music Man" and "Gantry," even "Anyone Can Whistle," story to work. We need miracles these days and the chance to uplift an audience should not be squandered.

I'm not much into religious-themed movies, unless you would consider FIELD OF DREAMS one.
Most of the classic ones that I can think of (e.g. THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, THE ROBE, etc.) are too "self-important".
JohnG, the acupuncturist today said there are ways an acupuncturist can help with chronic kidney stones, though he said typically the first approach is dietary/nutritional.thank you. The cause for me is calcium. Yet none of my doctors wants me to eliminate dairy from my diet.

Do you make your own almond cheese? I eat virtually no "real" dairy (soy cheese, almond cheese, etc.), yet I also produced calcium stones. There's no winning.

The brand name of the almond cheese is Lisanatti. I highly recommend the mozzarella.
DR elmore - I'm glad that you're recording sessions have been going so well. As for a "bad day", well, I hope you don't end up self-fulfilling your prophecy. Besides, that "bad day" probably won't occur until the mix-down sessions. ;)

Rain! Blessed, blessed rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sending Craig the info as he is now eating completely Vegan. The brand name of the almond cheese is Lisanatti. I highly recommend the mozzarella.
I wonder if my niece (who's a vegan) knows about this brand. She's tried several non-dairy cheeses and really hasn't been happy with many of them.

Welcome Back Dear Friend!
Welcome home, TCB. I hope you were on a vacation and not ill.
DR DtM - DR ELMORE was correct.....said NUN movie was THE MIRACLE starring Miss Carroll Baker and Mr Roger Moore as her first object of sin.....
That is what I was drinking before the stones came back with a vengeance in the last few years. I still drink a great deal of water and it helps. But it isn't a complete panacea. John, calcium causes my kidney stones, as well. Eight to ten glasses of water a day tends to keep them away.
I haven't posted much today....I've just been enjoying the day and life in general. I have had a very happy day for no apparent reason. I like days like thisSo do I. And I'm glad you're enjoying it as it happens. I just realized from your note that I had a similarly wonderful day.
I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, but the sleep I had was very deep with lots of dreams. Some were very strange but not off-putting. I dont' remember the details of much except one where we were in one room and my great aunt grace was in the room across the way. It really was more like a stage. She was an artist so I was very pleased to introduce her to Paul. She didn't say anything but just sat and smiled like she approved of my life and my friends. Aunt Grace died when I was in college. She was in her 90s at the time. The dream was really comforting. Almost like she was letting me know that she knows I'm doing fine. Now that is a sweet dream.
I tried really hard to like Suessical. I really did.
My lovely new diet today. Sunflower seeds, raisins, sliced almonds, pitted dates, raw carrots, avacado on triscuits. yummy. ;)

I enjoyed it as a show for kids and really liked Stephen Flaherty's music, much better than the album, which I think needs the BK treatment. It sounds like it was recorded in a tunnel. It's flat and lifeless, and the music really came to life for me in the theater.
Plus, I'm a sucker for anything related to Dr. Seuss. (Except Jim Carrey in a Dr. Seuss movie.)

The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck was on Rachel Ray today!

Since I've cut out cheese from my diet (I LOVE cheese and now we're eating the soy stuff) I was intrigued by the mention of vegan cheese. In spite of being in New York, the center of the known world, it is not easy finding this stuff. I just spent time looking for Daiya, Sheese, Dr. Cow and Teese. They are all NOT readily available around here. I may order some on line and see what it's like.

It's all going too smoothly and that worries me. I hope there are no rough sessions, but there are two days left on this one and three more sessions totalling around eight days after that between Oct 19 and Jan 2011..
Slow, man, slow. Must be them sunspots in the night sky.
