Everyone is writing something! You're writing posts. Well, it's something. I'll soon be writing papers.
Vanilla or cinnamon are scents I tend to prefer.
My friend posted his health update on Facebook this morning, so I'm pleased to report he's doing somewhat better. Hope he continues to improve.
Today I must get my blood removed to see if I pass this year's cholesterol test.
I am electronically balanced and aligned....and I have four new tires. I thought I only needed two, but upon looking at the others, well......it was scary to see the wear.
I cannot complain.....they had at least 52,000 miles on them.
Tires are the only thing between you and the road, JRand. It's good to have new tires.
Besides, you can't rotate them if you buy just two. You'd never put the old ones up front.
Is there a program that will take musical notation that you enter on a QWERTY or keyboard and then print it out on musical paper?
And especially since we are expecting 5-7 inches of snow overnight.
Everyone is writing something!
the promised snow for northern Oregon has still not arrived.

Everyone is writing something!
I'm trying to decide what I want to write next.
There are 3-4 possibilities.
My ask BK question of the day:
What movie have you always wanted to see, but have yet never been able to see.
For me, it is the Allison Hayes / Willard Parker movie HIGH POWERED RIFLE (1960).
Added to that list is the Bollywood film GOGOLA (1966), which is the Indian version of GODZILLA.
I have seen the poster and read the plotline...now I MUST see the film! That is, if someone will be kind enough to someday release it to DVD.
I've been up for an hour, have answered e-mails, am fully awake, and will now do some futzing and fixing after which I will write new pages.
Hi, Penny. Bye, Penny.
Mine is also on the way DRMBARNUM.....and SIGN OF THE PAGAN was mailed to you yesterday.
And the word of the day is: FAIN!
(((((Elmore))))) I hope your day gets better. Hopefully it won't get worse!
And the word of the day is: FAIN!
Good morning, all! The expected Institute and Foundation payments, or lack thereof, have me enormously overdrawn today, so I am quite vexed this morning. Hopefully, the Institute money will land tomorrow, but God alone knows when this asshole running the Foundation in Philadelphia will send payment for either of the two outstanding invoices, which come to a good deal of money. At the rate I'm going, I'll lose it all in overdrawn fees. Damn!
So it really isn't a good morning.
Vibes to all who need them - Michael S for his preview, John G for his friend, JRand for his tires, Elmore for his financial status at the moment, Laura for a good test result, TCB for his future writing etc etc etc.
Oh!!! AND!!!! At the LA Ovation Awards on Monday night (it's sort of the Tony Awards for LA>..) my theatre won for Best Production in a small house, for the West Coast premiere of FOUR PLACES!! I'm ecstatic.

Congratulations, Penny!
DR PennyO, what good news!Vibes of all sorts of mental, financial and just all-around richness to you.
DR JohnG, I had meant to send vibes for your friend, but with the way this day is going, I think he's improving because I didn't. The day, which began bad enough, has continued to maintain its efforts to make my life miserable; I am positive today's horoscope, which I did not see, was advice to stay in bed. Or die.

rewriting rewriting rewritingWish I could be there.
one more rehearsal on Sunday and then the "World Premiere" on Tuesday
If tonight wasn't the night I take my mom out to dinner and grocery shopping, DR Elmore, I would call you on the telephone and put you into a better mood.
We are back after a lovely brunch at Le Pavillon (http://www.lepav.com) followed by a trolley tour of St. Augustine and a drive on our own out to the beach. Richard is doing laundry and I'm resting a bit before the Bishop's reception and the dinner that opens the clergy conference.
Joshie is REALLY enjoying this canned food thing.

Hey, kidz!
Bruce, your discipline for the writing is so inspiring. Always was.
I just sent in - a day late - my article for the February issue of Bunker Hill Magazine - I've been writing a monthly article or two for almost a year now - wow, tempis fugit! This one is about the West Coast premiere of the Wynton Marsalis Symphony #3, "Swing Symphony" - with the LA Phil. Can't wait to hear it. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will be on hand, sitting in - the piece had its world premiere in Berlin last June, the US premier with the NY Phil in Sept as part of their gala opening of their 2010-11 season. So it finally makes its way west to sunny Los Angeles!
Tonight is the hoo-hah opening night of the LA Art Show - the high rollers in the art industry - artists and collectors from all over the world hit the LA Convention Center, wearing all their diamonds - I got invited because my last month's Bunker Hill Mag article was all about THIS show... I get two tickets - but have NO DATE!! Bruce!!! Wanna go???
I am now a proud dish owner!
Not the ones in my kitchen (I bought those a couple years ago), but the big sucker that is now sitting on my balcony.

What can you eat off a satellite dish?
Yum. Indigestion. My favorite. What can you eat off a satellite dish?
A Sonic Burger?

Is anyone planning on watching the new show "Perfect Couples" tomorrow night? We will be watching as the niece of our dear friend will be playing the assistant, Isabella, at the real estate agency.
Bruce this is also your classmate, Ronny's, niece-Maureen's daughter.

Actually you could eat a Hell of a lot of food off of this dish. I thought I was going to get one of those 18" dishes, but this dish is very large. I will try to get a picture tomorrow. It takes up almost one quarter of my balcony.
I was told today I am grouchy to everyone.....I don't believe that, but if I am, I think they deserve it :)Amen.

Well, maybe not a quarter of my balcony, but it is big.
DR Jane (or anybody) do you plan to watch the new USA show FAIRLY LEGAL that starts tomorrow? It only starts here on Feb 2nd. But it looks interesting. We've only had 2 episodes so far of the other new USA show, COVERT AFFAIRS. But so far I love this show.

Dear BK,
Why are there so many helicopters flying around here today?

We watched between one & two episodes of Covert Affairs & Keith wanted to stop watching. I liked but not enough to encourage giving it another try. Fairly Legal seems to have good reviews. If there is room I will record it.
We should have HARRY'S LAW with Kathy Bates to watch along with a few other new shows. We watched the first episode of LIGHT'S OUT and I'm not sure I want to continue watching. I think we will give it one more chance.

This afternoon I sat outside in my yard, and this is what I saw:
