Well, you've read the notes, the notes felt thick, and now it is time for you to post until the thick cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: EMPRISE!
-
so tired - what a week, and today : an all day "retreat" with Pastor & church council
-
I ho[pe it is spiritually uplifting --- I need some upliftng
-
I watched one part of DR MICHAEL S play....I shall watch more later.
-
Congrats to DR CILLA LIZ on moving AHEAD!!!
-
We didn't have bookstores way out in the country when I was growing up.
I like Half Price Books, and of course World of Wisdom......Border's is fine too.
-
I forgot to mention that GORKY PARK arrived at my house on Monday.
-
Morning all.
That is all.
-
And now I am off to work. Oh well. It is warmer today. It is all the way up to 29 degrees and headed for 37 degrees!
-
Good morning, all! I have a full day, so I will be off and running very shortly. My first stop is Toyland, which will keep me occupied for several hours. At 2 pm, I'm meeting my college friend Rebecca, whom I've not seen in around ten years. Following the visit, I will head home and see what I can accomplish here.
My hometown never had much in the way of good bookshops and, as the intelligence level in my hometown declined drastically, the bookshops disappeared. I remember as a child hanging out in the book departments of various stores in the Middletown shoppng area like Murphy's and Kresge's, as well as the small magazine and book section of the downtown bus station, where I waited for the bus to take me home from library visits. When I was in high school, the Middletown News Agency opened a shop "Readmore," which was for the mid to late 1960s a very good bookshop. When the Middletown campus of Miami University opened, there was a rather good bookshop opened close to the campus. Those stores are all gone, so visiting my family is not nearly so much fun as it once was because I find they, and friends like DR Ginny and Richard, live in such a depressing shambles of a once rather nice city.
In college and during my twenties, I discovered a lot of Cincinnati bookshops, as well as the Cincinnati Public Library, although I cannot now remember a name of any of them. In 1966, on my first trip to NYC, I found The Drama Book Shop, which became my favorite bookshop until I worked for them. By 1979, living in New York, I discovered many other fantastic shops, many of which are now gone: Patelson's. G. Schirmer, Shakespeare & Co. on the Upper West Side, Eeyore's, and a really beautiful shop on Columbus and 82nd whose name I forget.

Good Morning!
I'm up, I'm up... And I'm sneezing.
-
And I started sneezing about 18 hours ago... Ah, well...
-
Maybe there is such a think as an HHW cold/allergy/sinus malady?
::)
-
Callie and Ricky conspired to wake me up at 6:30 this morning
-
I am up, they have eaten. Now they have gone back to sleep.
-
Thanks DR Laura and JRand.
-
DR Cillaliz - Onward and Upward!
-
Callie and Ricky conspired to wake me up at 6:30 this morning
Thanks for the meth lab advice; I would never have known what one smelled like. Two nights ago, someone was walking about between 3 and 4am. At this moment, I don't think anyone's been in the apartment since then. Perhaps Count Dracula is my neighbor?
-
DR Matthew - I hope you find a new "Abe" sooner rather than later. -At least Altar Boyz has already spawned(?) a generation of performers à la Forever Plaid, so, hopefully, you'll be able to snag someone who has already done the show. -And knows the music.

Or maybe there are just some big rats walking around. Really big rats. ::)
-
Welcome Back, DR Pogue!

I've defended people in a lot of meth lab cases. Never smelled one myself, but that's always the testimony. There is another method that uses sulfur I think. Never had that method around here, but I think there is still a strong chemical odor from it
-
DR Cillaliz - Onward and Upward!
thanks! Today it seems kind of silly that it was such a big thing, but it was a big deal for me. Of course I still have enough cases to finish up that I'll be working on them for at least the next 6 mo to a year, but there shouldn't be any new ones after that.
-
And now, it's time to see if I still feel like venturing out after taking a shower, or just crawling back into bed for a few hours.
Laters...
-
Ok, time to get up and get going. Lots to do today. It's going to be 41 degrees....ABOVE 0! Woo and Hoo!!!

Last night DR George wrote:
In our libraries (we have 27 branches spread over five counties), feature films have a one-week loan period and everything else (except for reference) has a three-week loan period. And I think that people can take up to 10 days to pick up an item that's waiting.
The libraries here are just singe branches. I know DR Jane has told me before that she also has a long time to pick up her books. I think this would drive me crazy if someone ha 10 days.
Since each suburb has their own library, I would say everyone going to my library lives within 10-15 minutes of the library max. And it is very centrally located. So I am happy with the 2 days to pick up a book. Plus then the popular books just don't sit at the front.

And the word of the day is: EMPRISE!
And The Song Of The Day Is: THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM

Greetings from Toyland!
-
TOD:
There were several used bookstores in Seattle that I frequented when I was a kid.
There was one deep in the Farmer's Market that burned down, and one around 7th or 8th on Pike Street that is long gone.
Also gone is the Fillipi Bookstore. I went to high school with the daughter of the owners.
-
So, why did my new picture come out so small?
-
More TOD:
In Los Angeles, I really liked the Cherokee Bookshop on Hollywood Blvd., and...before it was taken over by its current owner...the Larry Edminds Bookshop.
-
Saturday morning greetings! I slept rather poorly last night - no surprise - but was able to sleep late this morning. That helped, along with the facts that 1) my cell phone has not rung; 2) I'm going to lunch with my AAUW friends soon; and 3) Richard and I have a date tonight to attend a choir concert at Miami University.
-

Congratulations, DR Cillaliz! Sometimes the symbolism of actions like yours means more than the actual events.

I went into the men's room to wash my hands and I found one of the other tenants on the tenth floor washing his dog in the sink!
-
I'm up and feeling not so wonderful, so maybe what started out as an obvious allergy attack has turned into something else. I wish I could just stay here in bed, but she of the Evil Eye will be here momentarily.
-
I hope you feel better soon, BK.
-

When was your last physical exam, BK? You run yourself ragged; perhaps you need a tune-up.
-
Yes, go get a physical and blood work done BK. You might be deficient in something or other.
Also, get a prescription for sleeping pills...that Nyquil stuff will make you feel yucky the next day.
-
Take your vitamins, and wear a sweater. Good advice no matter who you are or where you live.
-
My sister kept calling me while I was in the bathroom and couldn't get to the phones. Now she doesn't answer when I call her back. I hate that.
I think we are supposed to got thrift shopping or help mom pack or something today. She hadn't decided at the time I last talked to her this week.
-
As a teenager there were two bookstores that I frequented in downtown Medford.
One was a used bookstore that my buddy Dave and I would go to and scout out vintage hardbacks. I still have two of the books that I bought there way back in the late 70s...one science fiction book from 1960 titled THE BIG EYE... and one mystery from around 1912 called THE HAND OF PERIL.
-
The other bookstore was a locally owned one (we had no big box bookstores in Medford when I lived there), whose name I forget, but it was right around the corner from The Craterian Theatre.
I would go there frequently, and I bought most of my movie related books and magazines there, particularly all of the WHATEVER BECAME OF....? books, which I would look forward to each year, or so, that they came out. I think I still have all of those.
I would also secretly check out the new issue of PLAYGIRL each month, which was kept in the women's magazine section way in the back of the store.
-
BK, sometimes I can prevent a sinus infection by taking sudafed (the stuff from behind the pharmacy counter) every few hours and benadryl at night. If you have to fly next week, you don't want to be congested.
If you sound sinus-y, you might see if any of your pharmacies have a nurse-practitioner clinic. Out here, Walgreens and CVS do. They can give you antibiotics.
-
Sometimes I was able to order Scholastic books from school. Not very often, though. We were not book-buyers.
As adults, we enjoy Bookman. Well, Sandra mostly. I rarely buy books.
-
I now enjoy going to BORDER'S BOOKS. Although their selection of CDs and DVDs is minimal now, they have a huge selection of magazines and I love to look through the budget books sections.
My other favorite bookstore is a locally owned store that is downtown, called THE BOOK BIN. It is two stories of new and used books and they have a hugantic selection. They also have a big area of vintage paperbacks, which I buy on occasion. I think the owner is a fan of old dime novels.
There are two more large sized, locally owned, used bookstores in town, but I don't get to either one of those as often amd there are also several other smaller used bookstores in Salem, which have been around for years.
-
I have picked up Miss Molly from Dr. Uhl's care: she is confined now to 7 days crate rest; outside on leash ONLY for bathroom purposes. No tranquilizer, Rescue Remedy though to keep her calmed down.
-
I was going to comment on last night's discussion of THE SOCIAL NETWORK. However, since I haven't seen the film yet, it seems rather silly to try and weigh in with an opinion.
-
Maybe there is such a think as an HHW cold/allergy/sinus malady?
::)
Possibly a computer virus?

The ether smell is not always accurate,. The Tacoma Police Department told me, when this whole apartment complex seemed to have turned into a meth lab, that there are usually two types of meth labs. The ones that were being run in my complex were what they referred to as dry labs. I don't really understand what that means exactly, but the police said it was doubtful that I would have ever smelled anything from the dry lab.
Don't ask me, that is all I know.

From Cilla:
I didn't think that Social Network seemed that one sided. It wasn't all "pro" for any side of the situation. I did enjoy it
We watched it last night. While I liked it Keith & Craig both enjoyed it more than I did. From what I've read about it I was surprised it wasn't all pro for any side of the situation. The only one dimensional person was Sean Parker.
-

Health vibes to BK!!

Today I am supposed to attend a party at the home of a guy who grew up with me in my neighborhood. We reconnected a few years ago, and I see him off and on. After our horrible forty year reunion, Bob decided that we should have an old neighborhood party. Now, a couple of years later, the party is today. I think the term "neighborhood" has been expanded a bit, because the last I heard there were over sixty guests invited to the party. I will go for a couple of hours, because a couple of good friends flew into town for the party. I have no idea who has been invited or who will show up.
-
I just got an e-mail from Donald Rumsfeld (now calling himself Don) promoting his new book How in the Hell did I get on this mailing list?
-
I guess I will try and get us to the next page.
-
THE NEXT PAGE Sounds like the title of a book about a gay King.
-
THE NEXT PAGE Sounds like the title of a book about a gay King.
Damn! That needed a rimshot.
-
Not too far to go now.
-
One more.
-
PAGE THREE!
-
Three? That is terrible.
-
But, as usual, I start posting and everyone else leaves.
-
If everyone else woudl just do two or three additional posts each day; then you wouldn't have to read my ramblings every afternoon.
-
We are expectting rain this afternoon. Not that unusual in the Pacific Northwet, but we have not had a lot of rain lately. And last night, the weather expert was hinting that by the end of next week we might actually get some snow (originally written as sow)
When they start predicting snow a week away, I can be totally sure that it won't happen.
-
What would that look like, if we got ten inches of sow?
-
Where in the heck are all the east coast posters?
-
And where has Danise been the last few days?
-
And what is Ben up to this weekend?
-
And will Jason ever return to this board?
-
Will we ever see Cason poisting again?
-
Or his mother? What was her name again? Karol?
-
And Charles Pogue may be suffering from jet lag ort theater lag, but he must be awake at some point?
-
And I forgot post reovery vibes to DD Miss Molly.
-
How many hours are Paul and Cilla going to spend drinking coffee?
-
Ginny, I would assume, is back visiting her aunt.
-
Jrand must be at work.
-
MBarnum is probably busy sending obscene phone calls to the Salem nursing homes.
-
By the way (BTW). son Jed auditioned for SWEENEY TODD this past week. This would be the first time he was able to do a show since he changed jobs at the library.
-
Jane may have gone walking or lunching?
-
James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave in DRIVING MISS DAISY. I would enjoy seeing that, just for the two leads.
-
One guest has joined me. My apologies.
-
I guess I should get some vacuuming done and some dusting before I get ready for the afternoon par-tay.
-
I have picked up Miss Molly from Dr. Uhl's care: she is confined now to 7 days crate rest; outside on leash ONLY for bathroom purposes. No tranquilizer, Rescue Remedy though to keep her calmed down.
Vibes for Miss Molly. I'm sure she'll be fine. At least she's at home where you can take care of her

Here is a site that discuss signs of a meth lab
http://www.kci.org/meth_info/neighborhood_lab.htm (http://www.kci.org/meth_info/neighborhood_lab.htm)
Don't know about the dry lab. I've heard of it, but never had a case with one in it
-
How many hours are Paul and Cilla going to spend drinking coffee?
I was at the coffee shop for 2 hours, but most of it was planning the order of the films for our upcoming festival
-

I think that's really true in this case. Still feels like the right decision

It's a beautiful day here today. It's 41 degrees already. I may have to venture outside.
-
Ben defrosted the freezer in anticipation of grocery shopping tomorrow. He also met a friend this morning at the Greenmarket at Union Square and then went to CVS and bought 3 boxes of Cheerios (on sale with the CVS card) and 4 cans of Campbell's Soup (also on sale with the CVS card). Anthony has spent much of the day looking at YouTube videos and he is now loading up his Walkman in anticipation of our trip to the hospital on Wednesday for my appendectomy.
-
Ginny, I would assume, is back visiting her aunt.
No, DR TCB, Ginny resumed her own life today and attended a luncheon with friends and is now getting ready for dinner with Richard and our dear niece/goddaughter Lauren before we attend a Miami University choir concert. We were away for Lauren's 22nd birthday, so we'll celebrate with her this evening.
My mother did go visit my aunt today (they're sisters) and learned that Aunt Jo will be moved on Monday to another room in the assisted living area. I don't know if this is a permanent move, but hope to hear from my cousin that it is.

Back from errands and whatnot. I decided to treat myself to Du-Par's thinking the pancakes would make me feel better. I can now say without equivocation that Du-Par's is done - every since the purchase by Tiny Naylor's it has slowly but inexorably heading into the toilet, but one could always count on the pancakes. Well, said pancakes are now horrendously bad and not even a shadow of what they once were. The short stack consisted of three HUGELY lumpen things resembling pancakes - I twice had to tell my waitress that I wanted the melted butter put on by the chef - that was always the way they came unless you said otherwise - what made them so great was the melted butter was put on just as the cakes came off the griddle. She merely took the pancakes back and poured it on herself. The batter seems to be different and tasteless, and their syrup is now sans sweetness. It's just glop you pour on these way to thick pancakes. The pancakes were always much thinner. I shall not return ever.
-
Sorry to hear that about Du Par's, BK. It's sad when a place you've loved goes bad - I think it's almost easier when places just close.
-

Sad to hear.
I have some very fond memories of doing breakfast meetings at Du Par's. There were always a bunch of show biz people about.
It was like the Schwab's of the SF Valley.

Not DuPar's!
What the hell?

I've had a fantastic but long day and I am happy to be home. Toyland was good and I accomplished some things I needed to take care of, and my 2-hour lunch date with Rebecca was a lot of fun. Her husband, the wonderful actor Danny Stone, stopped by, and it was great to spend some time with him as well.
-
Today I opened a window and within about 20 seconds this is what I saw
-
I like to give the cats fresh air when I can. They love sitting in the windows
-
So I guess Ricky has been accepted as an annoying but loved little brother cat

DR CILLA IS FREE!!! :D

-
Little Ricky looks bigger than the girls.
-
I am sorry to hear that Dupar's has gone downhill. I have gone there several times with BK.
-

;D

Little Ricky isn't very little anymore. He's a lot bigger than Boo and I think he's bigger than Callie now, too
-
Jane may have gone walking or lunching?
Long hike. I should have dressed in my summer clothes it was so warm on the uphill portion of the hike.
-
He's getting big, but still gets insecure like a little kitten at times and cuddles up close to me. I like that
-
My patient is resting comfortably. Going out only every two hours. Plus a little crate-free time for petting.
-

I'm sure she is very relieved to be home with you and Mum

Good afternoon, all.
-
Been a long but fun day. Went to the movies to see the Met live broadcast of "Nixon in China." What a great score. I haven't heard it in ages, but the woman playing Madame Mao (Kathleen Kim, I think) was perfect. Janis Kelly as Pat Nixon just great and the men all good.
-
TOD: I have always loved going to library book sales. The ones in Louisville were legendary. They would take up three sides of the main library and you could browse books for hours. Always found some great stuff there, from books to albums (I remember finding the "Two Gents" cast recording at one). There was a library book sale this morning at my neighborhood branch. It was small but I managed to find a John McPhee book I didn't have ("Irons in the Fire") and a paperback of Tolstoy's "Kreuzter Sonata," which I've never read.
-
Glad Miss Molly is feeling somewhat better or at least resting comfortably, td.
-
Sorry about the pancakes, BK. Do you know if the management has changed hands? That's usually the reason for drastic quality changes. Whatever the reason, it feels like a betrayal when you have to write off an old favorite, be is restaurant, book store or any business you've patronized regularly in the past. Sucks.
-
Off to make chili for a cookoff at church tomorrow.
-
Off to New Jersey to see the concert starring BK's friends Debbie Gravitte, Jan Horvath and Christiane Noll (in alphabetical order).
Looking forward to it!
-
And one for the 3 Divas!
-
Today I opened a window and within about 20 seconds this is what I saw

I am sorry to hear that Dupar's has gone downhill. I have gone there several times with BK.
I grew up going there. Back then my mother were buy bottles of the special syrup for us to have at home.

I am babysitting grand dog Yogi who does not like to be anywhere without Craig. Poor thing just keeps whimpering by the door. I went and got his bed and put it there.
Craig had an errand to do and all Yogi would have done is sit in the car. This way was easier for Craig & good for Yogi if he likes it or not. Monday I will be watching him for four or five hours.
-
A moment of quiet, almost quiet. :)
-
When I think of Betty Garrett I do not think Laverne & Shirley. How ever she is remembered she had a good 91 years of life. RIP.
-
In today's mail I received a CD of the out of print "The Music of Peter Schickele" from the composer! That was quite exciting and very kind of him. I have to think of some thing to thank him.
Waiting for company.
-
That talk about crappy pancakes it making me crave blueberrypancakes!
-
I did not watch the Social Network today. Maybe tomorrow or monday.
-
Tomorrow is the winter carnival around here. Hopefully my sister and i will go with my niece and her friend. Last time i checked it was supposed to be -2C. That is not too bad.
-
It would be fun to get taffy on the snow and go sledding. I remember last year screaming like a crazy person, since my sled went really fast and I had not been sledding for years.
My sister did not want my niece to go down the hill by herself. Some how I gather that she will still not want her to go down by herself since it's a huge hill. And it's not like she'd send her up the hill alone. Hopefully we will be able to get up the hill.
-
My sister did not want my niece to go down the hill by herself.
Not when she has you to go along ;)

I have returned from the neighborhood party. Bob, who hosted the party, picked a perfect time to throw a big party. Tomorrow morning the whole inside of his house is being gutted, and he is having the whole inside done in a Japanese decor. So, Bob could care less what got dropped or spilled.
It was an interesting gathering of people. The men in the group seemed to have aged the most. And the nieighborhood women seemed to have married very old and very unatrractive men. It was certainly a lot more fun than the 40th class reunion we had back in 2008. And it didn't cost me $55.00 a head, like the reunion either. There was so much food at this party, that I complimented Bob on the perfect single guy trick - a pot luck at his house.
One woman from the neighborhood who I have not seen in over 45 years was a complete shock. I lived on the dividing line between the two north end high schools. Joann lived accross the divider, so I had not seen her since probably 9th grade. She was probably the most beautiful girl from our neighborhood. She was a knockout. The years and drugs have not been kind to Joann. I had heard stories of her years with cocaine and other drugs, but I was still floored when I saw her.

Bob told me that he had always wanted a house with a Japanese decor since he was a little kid. This is the second thing he has told me in the last few years that he dreamed of since childhood. The other was his desire to be a mortician. He is now the chief embalmer for the State of Washignton Medical School in Seattle.

Maybe the party was an attempt to drum up some future business.
-
When I think of Betty Garrett I do not think Laverne & Shirley. How ever she is remembered she had a good 91 years of life. RIP.
A favorite of mine. Glad she survived the years of blacklisting. I remember her most in "On the Town." She made a great Hildy.
-
Betty Garrett went to boarding school here in Tacoma. I always enjoyed her in films. R.I.P.
-
I had my yearly physical, and then a few days later I got a letter from a local mortician offering me a 2-for-1 burial. Coincidence?
-

Possibly from high cholesteral - THE SILENT KILLER! There was a ton of fattening food. I was surprised that the alcohol drinking was pretty low key.
-
Apparently my sister and brother-in-law were supposed to show up for the party. Although, I doubt that they will remember being invited.
-
We have been on Page Five for over four hours!

Did you call and ask if you could pick who the second one would be?
-
We're in for a bitch-slapping tonight!
-
I considered writing a letter telling him I am not currently in the position of needing burial, but that he would be the first one I'll call upon my demise.
-
Oh for God's sake.

Well, I am up way past my bedtime.
-
G'night!
-
Yes, you are usually out of here by 7 p.m. or earlier.
-
Night, TCB.
-
I've heard Guy Haines is a private person, but that's ridiculous. I think I'm through with my viewing for evening. Maybe a nice hot shower will perk me up.
-
Are you feeling any better tonight?
-
Good evening. Finally watched The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. It was really good. I liked the movie better than the book.
-
I had to watch it in the new den because it wouldn't play on my dvd player in the living room. Boo sat on my lap up there and acted like she hadn't seen me in years. she's a goofy little cat. Callie sat in her chair next to mine. She rarely comes downstairs to sit with me. She seemed very pleased I went up to sit with her
-
I liked all three of the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo movies very much - didn't read the books.
-
I'm feeling thick this evening with a headache lurking. I'm just congested and full of phlegm.
-
Did you try sudafed and mucinex?
-
And advil and benedryl?
-
Ok, maybe I've been out of it, but has this been discussed?http://www.atlasshruggedpart1.com/ (http://www.atlasshruggedpart1.com/)

I liked all three movies too. I thought the third book had a lot of details that could have been edited. I didn't feel that way about the third movie

Good Evening!
Well...
I'm sick. I could literally feel this cold just making it's way throughout my body over the course of the past 12 hours. Of course, if I had actually gone ahead and stayed in bed and rested today, well... But at least I had some good food today, caught up with a few friends and got to see and hear Susan Graham and Placido Domingo sing at The Met just a couple of hours ago.
And now I'm going back to bed...
Goodnight.
-
*I did read today's posts, and I shall comment when I wake up in the morning all good and healthy and cold-free. <fingers-crossed>

Get well vibes to all who need them

the retreat was spiritually uplifting

and inspiring
-
Glad to hear you found it uplifting and inspiring, Vixmom.
-
Then this evening The Vixter, her firend and I went to a local high school (next town over) and saw their production of Pippin
they cut the orgy scene (not surprising in a school setting) and unfortunately none of the lead females were strong singers but he Leading Player was excellent and the choreogrphy and dancing were quite good
We had a very enjoyable time

:'(
I'd almost forgotten that she was on All In the Family and Lavern & Shirley. I just loved her performances on the S.T.A.G.E. benefits recordings.
-
Unfortunately the Vixter developed a cold during the performace (I blame Jose) and out aftere show plans were adjourned in favor of getting her early to bed
-
Glad to hear you found it uplifting and inspiring, Vixmom.
thank you

PAGE SEVEN DANCE!!

One of the things we discussed at the "retreat" was making new members feel welcome and involving them inthe life of the church
I was wearing my church sweatshirt today - during the intermission the man sitting next to me mentioned that he and his family had just joined our church 2 weeks ago (we have several worship services and they attend a different one than the one I normally attend)
We had a really lovely conversation and I was able to invite him and his family to out Valentine's pancake breakfast tomorrow

Contractly I could only video him with the microphone in front of his face

I am putting together a new version of Disneyland sung by Jodi Benson. The last one was taken down after someone complained about it. I pretty sure it isn't wasn't the music. So this time I am using all my own photos. Maybe this time it will stay.

I am watching Gone With The Wind
-
Such fun to see (sort of) Guy Haines in action!
-
SPOILER
Scarlett just lost husband # 2
-
I am catching up on my internet surfing whilst little Cole drifts off to sleep in the guest room, which is where I am on the computer with the lights off. Makes it difficult to see the keyboard.
-
The Vixter and some of her freinds have been listening to "Love Never Dies" she asked me to ask if any if yu had any opinion as to whether it would come to Broadway
-
For dinner Cole had chicken nuggets shaped like Mickey Mouse and brocolli. He really likes his brocolli and I enjoyed eating the leftover Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets.

what a great uncle !
-
We did not watch TOY STORY 3 because Katie and Brian forgot to bring it over, which was OK because as soon as Cole walked into the apartment, and after greeting Freddy, he only wanted to watch THE GUMBY MOVIE. So we did.
Afterwards we watched BLONDIE GOES LATIN. Well, I watched it, Cole played with the fisher price car garage only looking at the TV when Baby Dumpling was on screen.
-
I hope the Vixter is feeling better, DR Vixmom.
-
Well, off to see if there is anything on Ebay that I haven't bought yet, then off to bed for me.
-
Love your kitty picture Cillaliz, ;D.
-
HEALTHY VIBES. :) :)
-
I think I might just have to listen to my 3 Guy Haines cd's tomorrow.
Do love his voice. Listening to the cd's just make me happy.
;D
-
Off to sleep, yard work tomorrow, early.
Today was laundry, recycling, trash, general clean up the messiness, and stuff like that.
The sky was so beautiful again tonight, it just feels like you can reach up and touch the stars.
-
Extra special super happy vibes for everyone.
;)

Back from New Jersey Performing Arts Cenetrfrom seeing the concert starring BK's friends (in alphabetical order)Debbie Gravitte, Jan Horvath and Christiane Noll performing with the NJ Symphony Orchestra . Really excellent show.
-
By the way (BTW). son Jed auditioned for SWEENEY TODD this past week. This would be the first time he was able to do a show since he changed jobs at the library.
Break Legs Vibes for Jed! Paul (the guy who played General Mills last year) also auditioned.

Today, I have done nothing but watch TV...two hours each of "Who Do You Think You Are?" (Lisa Kudrow and Vanessa Williams) and "Antiques Roadshow," and one episode each of "How I Met Your Mother," "The Big Bang Theory," "Modern Family," "Mr. Sunshine," "No Ordinary Family," "V" and "Off the Map." That's a lot of TV watching...even for me.
