But, as usual, I start posting and everyone else leaves.

If everyone else woudl just do two or three additional posts each day; then you wouldn't have to read my ramblings every afternoon.

We are expectting rain this afternoon.  Not that unusual in the Pacific Northwet, but we have not had a lot of rain lately.  And last night, the weather expert was hinting that by the end of next week we might actually get some snow (originally written as sow)

When they start predicting snow a week away, I can be totally sure that it won't happen.

What would that look like, if we got ten inches of sow?

MBarnum is probably busy sending obscene phone calls to the Salem nursing homes.

By the way (BTW). son Jed auditioned for SWEENEY TODD this past week.  This would be the first time he was able to do a show since he changed jobs at the library.

James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave in DRIVING MISS DAISY.  I would enjoy seeing that, just for the two leads.

I guess I should get some vacuuming done and some dusting before I get ready for the afternoon par-tay.

I have picked up Miss Molly from Dr. Uhl's care: she is confined now to 7 days crate rest; outside on leash ONLY for bathroom purposes. No tranquilizer, Rescue Remedy though to keep her calmed down.
Vibes for Miss Molly.  I'm sure she'll be fine.  At least she's at home where you can take care of her

Here is a site that discuss signs of a meth lab
http://www.kci.org/meth_info/neighborhood_lab.htm

Don't know about the dry lab.  I've heard of it, but never had a case with one in it

I was at the coffee shop for 2 hours, but most of it was planning the order of the films for our upcoming festival

DR Cillaliz - Onward and Upward!

thanks!   Today it seems kind of silly that it was such a big thing, but it was a big deal for me.  Of course I still have enough cases to finish up that I'll be working on them for at least the next 6 mo to a year, but there shouldn't be any new ones after that.

Congratulations, DR Cillaliz!  Sometimes the symbolism of actions like yours means more than the actual events.

I think that's really true in this case. Still feels like the right decision

It's a beautiful day here today.  It's 41 degrees already. I may have to venture outside.

Ben defrosted the freezer in anticipation of grocery shopping tomorrow. He also met a friend this morning at the Greenmarket at Union Square and then went to CVS and bought 3 boxes of Cheerios (on sale with the CVS card) and 4 cans of Campbell's Soup (also on sale with the CVS card). Anthony has spent much of the day looking at YouTube videos and he is now loading up his Walkman in anticipation of our trip to the hospital on Wednesday for my appendectomy.

Ginny, I would assume, is back visiting her aunt.

No, DR TCB, Ginny resumed her own life today and attended a luncheon with friends and is now getting ready for dinner with Richard and our dear niece/goddaughter Lauren before we attend a Miami University choir concert.  We were away for Lauren's 22nd birthday, so we'll celebrate with her this evening.

My mother did go visit my aunt today (they're sisters) and learned that Aunt Jo will be moved on Monday to another room in the assisted living area.  I don't know if this is a permanent move, but hope to hear from my cousin that it is.
