And the word of the day is: ECLAT!
VIBES to BK and company for a most wonderful show tonight.
And DR Jane, who we all hope will not weigh in at 400 pounds tomorrow.
Hi all! I hope everyone is having a wonderful and happy Holiday weekend!
Vibes and hugs to all who need them!
Breaking legs vibes for MR BK and CO - including DR ryacko - for tonight's show!
The train was a commuter train, so I doubt that's what Joshie was on. I'll be happier once I hear from him.
Last night, my performance was where it should have been on Opening Night, but wasn't. In fact, the entire second show seemed super charged. No second night slump from anyone.

I think I'm getting a cold. Not happy about that.

Maybe you need a couple more days off...

Please let us know when you hear from him.

Good news, DR TCB! Best wishes for the rest of the run!
Ginny, are you still enjoying your Keurig? Also, are you still making your own pods?
Yay, TCB!!!

Yes. Yes and no.
We are enjoying it very much, but I've gotten very lazy about using my Java Jig with ground coffee. It's too easy just to reach for a K-cup...
I have two friends who ride the Metro North to work on a regular basis and whenever they go into Manhattan. Was glad to hear from both of them this morning so I know they are ok
TCB, I'm very glad to hear that you feel better about the show. I would love to see you on stage. Probably ain't gonna happen but it can be a bucket list thing.
Cilla, we (Anthony) have an Ion turntable and we're very happy with it. We've had it for quite a while and it works fine for us. Anthony has transferred lots of LPs to digital files and then burned the to CD, including records for Dear Larry. I don't think they have the one we have anymore but here is the Web site. I just hope the one you bought years ago was not an Ion :o

I am being very intentional today about sitting still with my feet up. It's harder than it looks.

I would have a hard time doing that all day. Is your doctor's appointment tomorrow?
A Facebook friend in St Louis just posted that he's had no problems with the Obamacare website recently, so if anyone's needing insurance . . .
This is my public service announcement for the day.

Thanks to all who offered thoughts and prayers to me. Very appreciated.

Just remember you can't browse, you have to apply to see what's available.
Thank you all for the vibes - Ben your advice was sound - a day at church helped immeasurably - I am so angry for the papers for posting all those horrid details-
I am super excited. My library got Season 1 of Major Crimes. I wasn't sure that they would buy it since they don't have the Closer. But whoever ordered it probably only saw that it was season 1 and maybe didn't realize it was a spin-off series. Either way I cannot wait to see these characters again.

That is lousy and unfair!!!! It doesn't even seem legal to me.

I'm glad you are doing better. You didn't need to read the details.
I had what was without doubt the best Shake Shack burger I've been served in the two or three years I've been eating them.
Which doesn't keep DR Ginny's and DH Richard's turkey and bacon sandwiches from sounding wonderful.

you don't have to sign up and buy--- but the reason it is set up that way is so that people can see what government assistance (if any) they are eligible for so their pricing will be accurate

Good luck with the show tonight.
So wonderful to see Danise back on the site - I hope to see a lot more of her around!!
So JohnG how did the BarBq hunt go?
So JohnG how did the BarBq hunt go?
I spent most of today with friends. Went to church, then to visit some friends who were making Baptist cakes for brunch. They are a type of rectangular doughnut that you fully immerse in the oil when you fry. I think I wrote about them last year because I made them for Christmas. These were better than mine. Much, much better.

DR CILLA LIZ I a USB turntable from Audio Technica that has worked well for quite awhile. It's very similar to to one that DR BEN linked.

Nowadays they do have a turntable that records directly to a CD from the vinyl. Of course you would probably still want to use some kind of software to clean up the audio....but the initial recording might be simpler. This one is kind of expensive, but I imagine you can find the technology for less in an electronics store near you.

Same recipe or do you now have a new one for the next time you make these?

Enjoy! I hope they get the rest of the series for you.
My wifi and my Nook don't always connect as they should. Browsing my library wish list on my computer I saw a book I wanted was available. It took me 15 minutes to finally get to the book using my Nook and by then someone had checked it out.
I also got the weather stripping redone on the front door. Man, does that make a difference. Didn't get the plastic up on the last couple windows, but tomorrow is still supposed to be good weather so I'm hoping I can leave work early enough to do it

Quad-toe!
I have never had a turkey and bacon sandwich with leftovers - our favorite sandwich is turkey, cold stuffing, cranberry sauce and some cold gravy smeared both pieces of bread instead of mayo- best on whole multigrain bread (or toast)

Last night was redemption, but this afternoon, I hit it out of the park!! The whole show was near perfection.

Can I have it without the cranberry?

That's wonderful news. I wish there were some way to see it. Do they sell barbecue anywhere near the theater? :)
Must go to bed. Am fading. But the writing was fairly productive tonight.glad to hear it! Book completion vibes!

I don't think so. And I doubt you would enjoy Washington BBQ.
DR George, I have no memory of an intermission at the first showings of GREASE in the 1970s. CAMELOT and FINIAN'S RAINBOW, I remember.

Tomorrow evening, during the Seattle Seahawks game, the Artic blast is supposed to arrive in Western Washington. Supposedly, we will then be below freezing day and night for the next week.
