Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a panic, and now it is time for you to post until the panicky cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: HIPPOPHILE!
-
Congrats to John G., for passing the 20,000 post milestone!

Last night, I ushered for a local (semi-professional) production of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." They held the house for about five minutes, so it all started a little late at about 8:05 pm. It was a great show! I'd never seen the whole thing, but I really enjoyed...as much as one can enjoy a story with as much angst and anger and yelling as this show has. ;)

It was long...it ended at 11:30! However, to me it really didn't seem like it took that long. What may have helped was the coffee that I had at the first intermission. That perked me up for the rest of the show and kept me alert. I don't really like coffee, so I have to add a lot of sweetener and cream (half-and-half, really...but good enough). I was alert and was able to pay attention and really did like the show and the acting and the set and the costumes.
-
My friend Russ played Big Daddy and he was quite formidable. The actor playing Brick was very attractive and the only one who wasn't quite loud enough throughout the show. He acted very well, but just didn't project as much as everyone else did. The woman playing Maggie was also very good. I had forgotten that the whole first act, which lasts more than an hour, is practically nothing but her monologue with a just few lines from some other people. I couldn't imagine having that kind of role.
-
Tonight is their last performance. It was a good run.
-
Today, I'm going to go to work for a few hours (just to make up some time), and then go to my parents' to visit and for dinner.

I don't remember Mork and Mindy very much, but I agree with Twin Peaks and Lost. I would also add Private Practice and Scandal. I stopped watching Private Practice about a year before it ended and I really got fed up with Scandal a few weeks ago. The relationship between Olivia and Fitz is just ridiculous and I'm through watching it. If the show were just about her job and company and what she does as a "fixer," it would/could be pretty good, but all the relationship issues have "gotten on my last nerve," as my supervisor says. ;)

After the first season they dumped Mindy's family and brought on younger characters. They realized what they did and brought them back in Season 3, but the damage was done. There was some bright moments when Jonathan Winters came on the show.

Well, I have to go to bed. I do want to actually get some sleep.
Good night, Mike and guests.

Saturday morning greetings! Today is Christopher's & Kyra's wedding day and I'm up way earlier than necessary.

Morning all.
That is all.

We're seeing Hairspray this afternoon and then dinner at Olive Garden.
I spent the morning downloading the final updates for Windows XP. The computers out here are old and they have no plans to replace them. I told them they could get a good laptop with Windows 7 or 8.1 but they don't want to go that far.

Yesterday was a delightful day. As agreed, David (Richard's brother) and his wife called us when they were finished admiring the Liberty Bell and we met them at Betsy Ross' house for the tour. Walked from there to Elfreth's Alley, the oldest continually inhabited street in America, which we can see from our room. Next was Christ Church, where the likes of George Washington and John Adams worshipped. Next stop was David & Kathy's hotel where we left them with some of their Cincinnati friends and we walked on to Reading Terminal Market. Had lunch and walked up and down the aisles and took a taxi home.
-
Philly is a wonderful city.
Have fun at the wedding Ginny.
-
By the time we were back here we'd received word that all the driving parties from Ohio had arrived safely and the ones staying here (Lauren & Jim) came up for a little visit. Then it was time to get ready for the rehearsal dinner and meet sister-in-law Jayne in the lobby. We had a wonderful time there while all of Christopher's Palmer cousins met for dinner a block away. Those young folks were in for the night before their parents, but we WERE back in time for me to see the second halves of the last two Sweet Sixteen games.

Thanks, DR Ben, and you have fun at HAIRSPRAY!

Twin Peaks -- which is fresh in my mind because I just watched the entire series straight through (plus Fire Walk With Me) only a couple of months ago, for the first time since it originally aired. Loved it, loved the characters, and I didn't even mind much as the second season wandered about. It was still intriguing. But that final episode is just beyond belief, to the point that I actually felt bad from having sat through it.

And I am back home! -- a message I know will bring delight and a smile to all of your lovely faces.
This Firestone is friendly and very efficient, and it's five minutes away. They were quite busy this morning, I was by no means the first person in there at 8:00 AM, but I was out of there in one hour. I think it's time I gave them more of my business on routine work, rather than continuing to drive forty minutes to my admittedly very good and trusty dealership. But the car has 150,000+ miles on it, and I do deserve a little break now and then.

TRUE BLOOD
LOST
-
I watched a very interesting and amusing documentary last night: WHEN JEWS WERE FUNNY.
-
Good morning, all! I could not sleep last night. I finally dropped off sometime after 3:30. I am semi-conscious but mobile, not drifting too far from the apartment today. i've got some Moross work to tend to, and perhaps a market trip, but thats it.
-
On that note (a Bernard Herrmann low D), I decided not to nap today, but to tough it out and get to bed at a decent hour tonight ... and keep that pattern up over the next few days because I have an all-day Hell coming up Tuesday when I'll have to be up at dawn's crack and spend the entire day at the high school, rehearsing and playing in their spring concert that night, with a Hairspray orchestra rehearsal crammed in there somewhere. Come Wednesday, I can resume my profligate ways.
-
Which I look forward to, because come Thursday, my profligate self gets to enjoy a day in the Big City seeing DRs Elmore and Ginny and DH Richard and taking in a blissful MOST HAPPY FELLA.
-
Blissful is indeed the word for Fella, ChasSmith.
Thank you, Vixmom.
-
Gotten a little more written this morning, but it's slow going. Slooooooooooooooow going.
Off in a couple of hours to meet with some Korean barbecue bloggers at one of our better barbecue joints. The new book is still a month or two away, but the promotions begin.
-
It's a real nice day for a clam bake. Or a fish fry.
Or something.
-
DR ChasSmith - I think it is interesting that the local high school crams all their rehearsing with the accompanist (namely, you) into one day, rather than preparing in the weeks before the concert. I suppose it is more convenient for you to do it all in one day, but also more hair raising.

No, it's fine, and not hair-raising at all, because the choral groups have spent weeks on the music, their director has banged it out well enough that they're somewhat used to the accompaniment, and it's rarely anything too difficult from my standpoint. So the one rehearsal that day with each group gets the job done. It's actually a godsend, because in years past, they'd have me down there (Norwalk) a couple of times prior, and that was a waste of time and commuting.
Re HAIRSPRAY, I would normally not be joining till tech week (latter part of April), but since I'll be there anyway, this will give us all a chance to find out what the hell's going on, with me and a guitarist joining the orchestra for the first time. It's a chance for them to have the rhythm section, and we'll know what to go away and work on. I think I'm being left with all three keyboard books, which is not at all doable, but they can only hire so many people so we'll be figuring out what's most important from each of them.
-
I needed the cat ass trophy shot, Singdaw. Thank you.

From DR Cilla:
Actually, they didn't notice I was missing. I started walking home, I was fuming and crying and a neighbor stopped and asked why I was walking. I'm sure I was quite dramatic about it. They gave me a ride home and when I went in the house, no one had realized I was gone.
I know how you felt though I didn't fume and cry but I was rather hurt about it. They also didn't drive off and leave me. Driving away and leaving me happened a couple of times years later. Fortunately someone noticed I was missing as I could not have walked home. ;D

So, yes I'm still up...I feel like I finally figured out what's been bugging me and it's a relief. Now I think I'll get some sleep.,

Well, I didn't get much sleep, I tossed and turned. So I went to the office today, mainly to measure and see if the desk, credenza and table I want to put in my new office area will fit (they will!) While I was there I decided to send Bob an email. I told him I would gladly discuss it with him but wanted him to know what I was thinking about so he could think about it before we talked. I told him he was welcome to stay, but that I wasn't making any more changes and there wasn't going to be room for his wife/secretary so that when he got to that point he needed to look somewhere else. I did also suggest checking for other space in our building as it makes the move and address change easier as the mail man will deliver to your address even if it has the wrong suite number on it. I have no idea when he'll get it, but it's been said and he'll be able to decide if he wants to stay in the room he has or start looking. My guess is he'll stay until he's really ready to bring in his wife or he'll look for another office share situation. We'll see.
-
I actually said it in a more diplomatic but direct manner
-
It's also my guess that he'll be very surprised. That's why I wanted to give him time to think about it before we talk.

I'm up - finally got nine hours of blessed sleep. May go do a jog. This year it seems my allergy problems, which were pretty much in absentia last year, are kind of back, at least for the last few days. I pop a Clariton and that seems to take care of it.

Vixdad and I did go to IHOP - they have new strawberry crepes and new peach and almond french toast
I had a half order of peach and almond crepes.... ah the joy of being a "regular"

we seem to be suffering allergy issues as well - sneezing , itchy ears at least I hope it is allergy related and not cold related

No allergy issues here so far, but mine aren't usually in evidence at this time of year. Summers, though, watch out.

So, we thought riding the on/off tour bus around Philadelphia counted as taking it easy. That worked fine until we got off at the art museum for a restroom break and just missed the next bus. We waited in the rain/wind/hail as long as I could stand it, then got a taxi to take us to the market for lunch. We'd intended to get back on the tour, but chickened out for fear of getting stranded or stuck in traffic (which is horrendous today) and being late for the wedding. After a little time at the market, we got another taxi and came home to relax a bit.

Without a doubt -- HEROES. The first season was exciting and different, but the second year it was all-over the place. I didn't even realize that the show lasted four full seasons. I left it early in the second year. I may try it again when it returns next year.
I agree with Mike about MORK & MINDY. I enjoyed the first season of the show, but when it turned into ROBIN WILLIAMS & OTHERS, I stopped watching it. I tried a few more times to watch the show, but I thought the entire,Mork gets pregnant storyline, was the worst idea since Fonzie jumped the shark.

Back from the barbecue visit. The Korean barbecue blogger was really nice, but he didn't speak much English, so it was hard trying to communicate with him. Yet he loved a few of the dishes that he hadn't found anywhere else on his week-long tour of Texas. They included having grape soda with barbecue and having his first barbecue-style giant stuffed potato. The man behind the counter weighed it and the potato by itself was 1.7 pounds. Then it was filled with butter, cheese and chopped brisket in sauce. Actually, everyone at the table liked that.
He was really impressed with the pecan cobbler, and he liked it that I corralled the owner to come over and talk with us.

The weather is lousy here, too! Don't catch colds and have a good time.
Well, DR Elmore, there are already 2 colds in our extended family, so we'll see...

Was the cobbler also barbecued?

Ginny, I hope you and Richard enjoy the rest of your time in Philly, as well as next week in New York.

Not at this place, but I know of a place about an hour from here that does smoked peach cobbler, smoked brownies and smoked apple pie, so, yes, you can barbecue your desserts.

Ah, but not pecan cobbler!

I'm sorry but they don't get that big.
But it said so on the Internet, so it must be true! :)

Pretty!
Nothing like a nice bowl o' gillies.

Swan Lake is on the docket for tonight. The actual ballet, not the movie.

Just what my shower was always missing - - - a wine glass holder! :)
what?! You don't have one?!
Wouldn't the wine get watered down?
My reaction as well. Even if it didn't I would not find it relaxing to drink in the shower.

That could be the wall of an indoor hot tub or jacuzzi.
-
I actually said it in a more diplomatic but direct manner
Of course.
I was rather surprised when you mentioned him expanding/encroaching into your space when he was only renting an office.
-
It's also my guess that he'll be very surprised. That's why I wanted to give him time to think about it before we talk.
Had he asked about his additions and you initially said yes? He might be surprised but I personally think he should understand.
-
I think that wine holder must be meant for taking a bath not a shower. :)
That would make more sense, except we can't see the tub making it too high ;)
-
the skies are grey and threatening;I would rather sunny and blue, but as long as we get rain and not snow I'll not complain.
The one thing we don't need in Western Washington is more rain this month. We already set an all-time rainfall record for March, and that may have had something to do with the landslide.
This last rainfall was a record but we really needed it. Sad it that there is visibly more snow on Mt Ashland and had it come sooner they could have opened for the ski season.
VIBES THERE AREN'T ANYMORE MUDSLIDES!!!!

VIBES DR GINNY & RICHARD DO NOT GET AND TAKE COLDS TO NEW YORK!!!!
-
Hello, everyone.
This LA DR <ahem> is reporting another earthquake. I agree that the panic is not warranted, but we have had quite a few lately. I definitely felt last night's, although it was no big deal. The one we just had was stronger.
-
I, too, wish I could attend MOST HAPPY FELLA. Oh, well.
-
I'm off to eat some lunch.
TTFN.
-
I've listened to EILEEN, DEAREST ENEMY, and john McGlinn's SONGS OF NEW YORK, and I am ready for a nap.
I think I may watch Olivier's RICHARD III now that I'm reading about his short reign.
Olivier's or Richard's?
Richard's. I had forgotten how funny the movie is. Richard just takes the audience right into his confidence and says "now I have to kill Clarence if i'm going to be king" or "that nephew has got to die." Reminds me of KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS.
-
Thankfully, haven't felt any of these quakes or aftershocks.
-
I've been typing lyrics and getting them to Mr. Lead Sheet man. Only two or three to go and we'll have everything. Afraid we're ballad heavy so looking for another up-tempo.
-
Bruce, re the lead sheets, I assume you have sheet music for these songs, but you're changing lyrics or keys and thus need new sheet music. Is that right?
-
I think that wine holder must be meant for taking a bath not a shower. :)
That would make more sense, except we can't see the tub making it too high ;)
You just have short arms!
-
DR Jeanne did you have an aftershock or a new earthquake? Aftershocks usually aren't stronger.
Never mind. I looked it up and they are both considered aftershocks.
-
From DR Cilla:
So, yes I'm still up...I feel like I finally figured out what's been bugging me and it's a relief. Now I think I'll get some sleep.,
Good!!! I too am glad you came to this decision.
We'll see.
Good luck Cilla!
Thanks George

I'm sorry but they don't get that big. The woman must be extremely small.
LOL, I was thinking the woman looked very small.

I wish I could send you some of my pecan cobbler, TCB. Quite wonderful.

No, but he might have been sauced.
(THUD. Or maybe a rimshot. I dunno. I do know: no groaning.)

Thank goodness they are going to find out what the Hell is going on with you. We have all been wondering.
:):):)
-
is there a rule that all schools must perform the same show each year? Ben and Anthony are attending a HS production of Hairspray today - the local school is rehearing it now for a performance next week and Chas is involved with one as well -
I believe Obama signed HIGH SCHOOL HAIRSPRAY into law in January
AAH! One of the hidden clauses in Obamacare no doubt :)

Glad to hear that the latest earthquake wasn't near Studio City.

Had he asked about his additions and you initially said yes? He might be surprised but I personally think he should understand.
Well, sort of. We;ve had conversations about various possibilities if we office share into the future and where his secretary/wife may go if she came on board, but I was never happy with any of the suggestions and I realized that I was compromising on what I want and what I've created. I'm just not going to do that. So, if he's surprised, he's surprised. It's not personal and I'm not changing my mind

Thanks. I was pretty wound up about this, but have finally calmed down. I'm really glad I sent the email. He probably won't see it until Monday morning, but I'll be a lot more comfortable talking about it

I have a habit of living with various aspects of a decision before I really make the decision. So, I did some checking out of what space is available, I brainstormed the possible ways we could have space for Sandy, I worked with building maintenance guys on the sound problems, I decided to move my office as a last ditch attempt to make the space work for all of us and then I really thought about all the negatives of going forward with the sharing on a long term basis. There were just too many negatives and I was giving up too much for me to be happy. So the decision was made.
This process works well for me, but it tends to confuse others and drive everyone around me crazy. They think I keep changing my mind, but really I haven't made my decision yet. I always know when I've made the final decision and it doesn't change after that, but others...well...they don't always get it.
So, he may be surprised.
-
It's also my guess that he'll be very surprised. That's why I wanted to give him time to think about it before we talk.

Hopefully he will understand. Your suggestion of staying in the building was a good one as long as he isn't angry with you ;)
-
I think telling him your thought process and the effort you put into making it work will help him feel better about your decision.
-
On the other hand, I am way excited about moving my office into the other space. I've spent time the past week working at the conference table with the doors shut and spent time just sitting at different times of the day. I can't find any negatives in moving in there. I measured today and was so pleased with the way things should fit in the space. It's going to be so great to have all that space.
My office is nice and sunny, but it's gotten quite cramped and full of plants! I used to have half of them in the space Bob is in but had to move them when he came on board. One of them is quite big and will go outside as soon as it warms up. The rest can stay in the conference room. They all seem to love the southern light
-
Enough about that for now. this is making me want to go to the office, lol

But thanks for letting me vent here. It all just makes me feel even more like I'm doing the right thing

Am glad you were able to make your decision so you could stop stressing
-
Thanks Vixmom. I was stressing big time. I'm thinking I may need some movie therapy tonight
-
Correction. The news said they shut down the rides. I'm searching to find out how long they were shut down before beginning again.

Just sitting there? During the work day? Boy, don't let the boss see you.
-
Did anyone see The Book Thief? I loved the book, but haven't seen the movie. It's on my Directtv Cinema
-
OK, reading past the headlines my take is that certain rides get shut down and inspected for damage. Once they are cleared they can reopen.
-
Glad to hear that the latest earthquake wasn't near Studio City.
Disneyland closed as a precaution.
Yes, but Universal Sutdios decided to reopen their old EARTHQUAKE-The Thrill Ride!

Bruce reviewed it recently-check his archives. He didn't read the book though. I don't know anyone yet who read the book that saw the movie.

Oh I was holding a folder. I learned a long time ago if you're holding a folder anyone watching will think you are working. Especially when you are walking around.

I suggest something light and frothy -

There's always Frozen. I haven't seen that yet. Or I could go to the actual movie theater, lol
-
I seem to be watching Lawrence Welk...mostly because I haven't bothered to change the channel...now THIS is light and frothy
-
Oh boy! Oh boy! My Blu Ray / DVD copy of RAISE THE TITANIC has arrived. It is not a great movie, or even a really good one, but I still enjoy it. I love the Main Title Theme of the film; and the scene where the Titanic breaks the surface of the ocean and the scene where the Titanic sails into New York harbor both bring me to tears.

That reminds me of a girl I used to work with - when she came into work late she would leave her coat in the car and went to the cafeteria first and got a cup of coffee so when she walked in, it looked as if she was just coming back, not that she was just coming in (we shared an office so I knew better but she would cover for me as well!)

The book RAISE THE TITANIC by Clive Cussler is much better than the film version. But liking the Titanic like I do and like you do, it is worth it to see the grand lady crest the waves once again.

Funny! I am seeing Barbra's sister on Sunday, though!

And Brent is still playing Billy Flynn. Maybe I'll see Chicago for, let's see, approximately the 15th time.

My friend Robin and I are planning on seeing this:

We'll be there in an hour.

I spoke with my friend Paul, who lives in Fullerton, early this afternoon. He was kind of "shaken" from the earthquake. And now I hear there's been another! He's at work, I think, so I can't call now.

I reserved it from my library. I think i'm 2 people away from getting it.

I was going to borrow this from my library. But my sister said I should borrow her dvd. I asked my 4 year old niece if i could borrow it for 1-2 days. She did not like that idea! :)
Oh and I have not read the book of The Book Thief.

I used my Barnes and Noble credit to purchase "How Green Was My Valley". I can't stay connected long enough with the Nook bookstore to receive it. I couldn't connect this morning when I was at the gym so I don't think the problem is with my wifi even though Nook keeps telling me it is.
-
Although I already know the story to Frozen since I have to read the book to my niece over and over. She loves this. She decided to have her birthday party in May be Frozen themed.
My mom had gone with her to Toys R Us to get the Anna barbie (on sale to put away for her birthday).
Apparently there was a Frozen crown and necklace that she really wanted there. I told her that she should have told her Bubbie!

DR Jane how old do the book have to be for your book club? And how widely available? I read a book this week that i think all book lovers will enjoy. It is called The Storied Life of AJ Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. I think it comes out either this Tuesday or next.

I guess this must be the Anna crown:

I very nearly dozed off while watching something a couple of hours ago, but held it together in my determination to wait and get a solid sleep tonight. Let's now see if I can hold it together while watching TWINS OF EVIL, after which I shall be about ready to "retire".
I do hope my skipping the second film in the trilogy won't be a cat-ass-trophy. If it is, that's too bad.

I spoke with my friend Paul, who lives in Fullerton, early this afternoon. He was kind of "shaken" from the earthquake. And now I hear there's been another! He's at work, I think, so I can't call now.
Depending where he works I expect he felt the first one more than the second one.
I think he works in Brea.
-
There's always Frozen. I haven't seen that yet. Or I could go to the actual movie theater, lol
I was going to borrow this from my library. But my sister said I should borrow her dvd. I asked my 4 year old niece if i could borrow it for 1-2 days. She did not like that idea! :)
Oh and I have not read the book of The Book Thief.
You're kidding! You'd like it

Although I do hate to do that when they are films I haven't seen. Maybe I should just wait, watch something else for now, and get a copy.
Decisions, decisions.
-
Oh i totally forgot my favorite tv series Bitten starts in 30 minutes. It's a tv adaptation of one of my favorite book series.
-
I actually may watch Devil's Knot. Of course it's not a light a frothy movie. It's the story of the West Memphis 3. I read the book, it was very interesting. I think I'd like to watch it.
-
Has anybody here been watching the World Championships for Figure Skating? I watched the ice dancing this morning. It is so different without the top two teams. The results were the closest I've ever seen.

There are certain books/movies like this and The Fault In Our Stars that I would probably like. But I'm probably just going to watch them as movies.
Even though I read a lot my TBR piles is huge. I have at least 50 books on my kindle, at the library and in my room that I have been dying to read. And that doesn't even take into account all the new books coming out this year.

Okay, never mind, I ordered it. I can watch both of them late next week. I'm glad we had this little talk. Thank you, one and all.

I am sorry you haven't. Did your niece watch the movie?
They both watch Frozen over and over.
I was thinking you wanted to borrow The Book Thief from her which shocked me. ;D

Sorry, while you are cute you are nowhere near as cute as a baby ;)
-
DR Jane why would my 4 year old niece not want to lend me The Book Thief? :)
We were talking about Frozen.

ABC Nightly News just showed a video of a high school musical performance last night in California when the earthquake struck. I guess the power went out, as well. Everyone was screaming.
-
LOL, I can't decide on what movie to watch, maybe I'll just see whats on tv

Maybe if I love the movie I will want to read it.

Want to get back to reading before I watch tv. I'm reading a book by Ann Brashares (author of The Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants). It's about a group of people who time traveled from the future to the present. The future world was ravaged by killer mosquitoes. And they are trying to fit in. So far it's an interesting concept.
-
Has anyone seen or heard from Matthew lately?
-
Marc Platt, aka Dream Curly in the original Oklahoma!, has died at 100. At least according to someone on FB. I can't find a story yet.
-
Thanks, FJL.

I'm sorry, but for this you are missing out on, IMHO, one of the best books written ;)
I'm sure the book is better than it sounds. It is also the kind of movie I would rather watch than read, well maybe I wouldn't want to watch killer mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are one of the few things I will gladly kill, those and ticks.

It could have been, but I don't think the law exists in California.

Congrats to DR JOHN G on his millstone.
I hope DR GINNY continues to enjoy her trip to Philadelphia.

I forgot to log on this morning before I went to work....so I missed everything!!!
DR CILLA LIZ you are doing exactly the right thing!

Everybody around here is basketball crazy right now.

Is SHUTTERSTOCK the sequel to SUMMER STOCK?

I suggest something light and frothy -
With a little umbrella in it.

DR TCB was superb in the title role. ;)

I'm afraid I must now retire. Tomorrow morning, church awaits, and I must rise and sing for the people.

Congrats to John G., for passing the 20,000 post milestone!

HAIL TO THE MILLSTONE!

And the word of the day is: HIPPOPHILE!
Defined as a lover of Hippos, or more precisely, a chubby-chaser!

DR TCB was superb in the title role. ;)
Thank you. However, I expected roses at the curtain call! (((((Cough! Cough!)))))

twin peaks
lost
mork and mindy
I agree with TWIN PEAKS, but that was the fault of ABC and Mark Frost. I never watched LOST as I have been over following series since SEINFELD, which ended stupidly. I was a periodic watcher of THE SOPRANOS and did not like that ending.
MORK AND MINDY really was trying for something by adding the great Jonathan Winters, but it was a failure. I'm sure at the time there was a problem handling Robin Williams and his addictions.

The HAIR tour is going to be here on April 8. I'm going.
-
Well, I made it to page 48. Only at least 20 pages to go. I'm hoping to get 5 more pages written tomorrow. But I'm too weary to think of it now.
Good night, all.

Good night All

Almost six full pages before 4:00 p.m. on the Left Coast.
I know! Now we're up to 11 pages! I have a lot to ketchup on.
-
On the other hand, I am way excited about moving my office into the other space. I've spent time the past week working at the conference table with the doors shut and spent time just sitting at different times of the day.
Just sitting there? During the work day? Boy, don't let the boss see you.
Oh I was holding a folder. I learned a long time ago if you're holding a folder anyone watching will think you are working. Especially when you are walking around.
Hmm...I'm going to have to try this at my work. ;)
-
Oh boy!
I remember seeing that part on TV quite a few years ago and really getting into the emotion of the moment, even though I hadn't watched any of the movie before that point.

100...amazing!

Jeanne, no I have very little sheet music on my stuff - I don't notate, so unless someone else did it at the time, it doesn't exist.
-
Well, I want to go to bed now. I have to work concessions tomorrow for a filmed version of the opera, Hansel and Gretel (http://wcpa.squarespace.com/upcoming-events/2014/3/30/opera-cinema-series-hansel-and-gretel.html).
-
I have to be there by noon, but I want to get up early and try Taco Bell (http://www.tacobell.com)'s new breakfast menu!
-
They serve until 11:00 am, but if I get there before then, I can bring my Kindle and read while eating before I have to get to the Washington Center for the opera. :D
-
Years ago, Taco Bell used to have a breakfast menu.
-
The only thing that I can remember (probably because it was my favorite) was their breakfast burrito.
-
It was simply a tortilla with eggs, cheese, Mexi-nuggets (also no longer on the menu) and a white country gravy.
-
It was only a dollar, but it was delish...in my humble opinion (IMHO, in Internet lingo).
-
Well...

...we're so close...
