~ ~ ~ COPIOUS RAIN VIBES ~ ~ ~ for DRs Laura and Kerry!!!
Question of the day:Of course they have a July 4th. I think they call it, "July 4th." It usually occurs between the 3rd and the 5th (except for leap year, of course). ;)
Tomorrow The United States Celebrates their Independence Day.
Does England have July 4th?

We watched a very interesting film last night, BLUE RUIN.
It's an often violent thriller, but I did like it. Reminded me (in tone) of the Coen Brothers first movie, BLOOD SIMPLE.
No names in it, but it's quite good.
And the word of the day is: LAGNIAPPE!

I thought this was kind of interesting: an errant period in the Declaration of Independence?

I placed two more orders last night (one is a pre-order for the Demy box). They were both shipped this morning.
It's a Wonderful Life has landed in Minnesota! :)
A couple of weeks ago, Theater Artists Olympia held our annual elections through an on-line survey site. That worked, except that our vice president position resulted in a tie. So, for the last several hours, I was creating another survey for the tie-breaking vote. I got it all set up and sent out, except this time I couldn't figure out how to set the end day/time for the survey. We got it set up the first time, but I didn't see any place to enter that info this time. Oh, well. I put the end date/time in the survey e-mail, so we just have to not count any votes if they come in after that specified time. I'm sure that it'll be fine. :)

There was -- for one fraction of a second -- a misreading of today's topic as "Damn the Torn Speedos and Full Speed Ahead".
Silly, I know...

I'll have to print this for my dad. He loves this kind of stuff. :)

On my way to Mom's I stopped at the flooring place to pay for the new upstairs bathroom floor and the check I wrote was #1776.
This will be the very last post on this page, I'm thinkin'.

And an appropriate Topic of the Day (although, it's a stage/movie musical and not a TV show): "He's obnoxious and disliked." That's more of a running gag in the show/movie, but it fits.
I'm listening for the second time to "It's a Wonderful Life," which arrived today.

Mine didn't. :( It'll be Monday at the earliest before I get it. I have all my shipments sent to my work and we get no mail deliveries on Saturdays.
Making a cherry-blueberry pie tomorrow for the Fourth of July party I'm going to. Got to make the pie crust tonight.

Storm got here, feels so refreshing, but it's a strong one and the neighborhood just lost power. But ten seconds later, I had power! :D
I don't know what I shall do with myself tomorrow.

Making last preparations for the Florida trip.
I don't know what I shall do with myself tomorrow.
!! That's not something I often say. I seem to always be behind around the house, always have a to-do list. There's always more I want to do.
Enjoy your day, in any case!
Just to be clear: we want copious vibes for rain. Not copious rain.
