I'm here...on generator power!

Storm got here, feels so refreshing, but it's a strong one and the neighborhood just lost power.  But ten seconds later, I had power!   :D

Of course I wouldn't  have internet if Comcast had gone down, too.  But they obviously haven't.

I'm still here.

Power's still off.  The AC will be working Saturday morning when they get out here.  But if it had been working today, I'd have that now, too.

"1776", anyone?

My family always watches either "1776" or "Independence Day" on July 4th.  This year, it should be "1776."

And an appropriate Topic of the Day (although, it's a stage/movie musical and not a TV show):  "He's obnoxious and disliked."  That's more of a running gag in the show/movie, but it fits.

And speaking of "1776," I'm now listening to the London cast recording.  It's very...British.

:D

Got a fun noir double feature from the library. "Bad and Blonde" and "Man Bait," the latter with Diana Dors, if I recall correctly. One will be tonight's viewing.

I don't know what I shall do with myself tomorrow. The party doesn't start until 6 p.m. I may just clean house for a little while and then read.

And, of course, play "Take Me Along" and "1776."

Mine didn't. :( It'll be Monday at the earliest before I get it.  I have all my shipments sent to my work and we get no mail deliveries on Saturdays.

Lake McDonald, Glacier National Park

This park is on my list of places to see.

Here's another view, DR Jane!

Back from dinner at Stanley's - I'd had a meatless Cobb and bagel for lunch, so for dinner just had a steamed artichoke and a small Caesar.

I don't know what I shall do with myself tomorrow.

!! That's not something I often say. I seem to always be behind around the house, always have a to-do list. There's always more I want to do.

Enjoy your day, in any case!
