Just cleaning up files and getting Fedex packages out

The concert is themed to the organization for which we are raising awareness. It is a blend of music, poetry, and dance. We saw the dances created for our program at our final dress rehearsal on Thursday night. While some of them are difficult to watch (one is a reaction to the plight of human trafficking), I found them incredibly moving. It is not all dark; we leave the audience on an uplifting note of hope. We're singing all kinds of world music, including a folk song in Mongolian!

There are incidents and individuals that I "remember" from years ago, but I'm not sure it they were real or if I just dreamed them.

He has interesting comments about dealing with star and husband on the production of LORELEI, which I unfortunately saw in Cincinnati before it reached Broadway. So, I stayed up far too late and slept in longer than I'd have liked this morning.

This is an Encores! weekend; I don't know if I will even leave te apartment at all.

When I got there she was even more upset because she'd just had a call from the daughter of an old Michigan friend. Janet called to tell my mom that her mom had died on January 22 and my mom had been too distraught to talk. After I calmed her down a bit I called the number in my cell phone under Janet's name and, fortunately, got in touch with her. We talked for about 20 minutes and I got a lot more detail than I cared to share with Mom. By the time I left, she'd been to lunch and was beginning to think she's not so bad off.

I do too! I used to get the Far Side daily calender, but either they stopped making them, or I just stopped buying them. But they're all still very funny!

Last year, she wrote her own show and she was very good. I am excited to see this new show. I still do, but mostly have the sensation of falling as I'm falling asleep. A few times of jerking away in a row and it can take hours before I fall asleep.

Post by: Jane on February 07, 2015, 06:34:09 PM: Yes it was. Last night I didn't fall asleep until around 3:00 and the rain was very loud. It didn't stop until 8:00 this morning. The little bit of flooding we saw yesterday was gone today with the sun shinning. The break before it rains again was nice. I'm not complaining at all about more rain, we welcome it.

It turns out a tree fell onto the hen house and they had to cut a hole into the house to get the chickens out. I think the chickens are all ok but haven't a clue where she put them. She sent photos with the tree on it and the flooding around the house.

The parents strung Christmas lights around the ceiling in their room. It is really cool. Not only do the lights serve as a nightlight, but they make the whole bedroom seem kind of magical.
