I'm up, I'm up - barely.  Had more weird dreams, but these were much nicer.

Mercury retrograde and full moon earlier this week will cause off the wall dreams.....weird dreams are also a indication of conflict beyond the dreamer's ability to resolve.....waiting for someone else to DO something about something.

After 2 recommends from John G. and Elmore I will make it a point to watch THE CRADLE WILL ROCK.

As far as short stories, I am not a big fan of Science Fiction, but thanks anyway George for the recommendation!

DR Matthew,

Thanks for your comment regarding Pope Francis's quote from yesterday!

Here is another one:

I went to visit Mom sooner than I'd intended because she sounded really down when I called this morning.  When I got there she was even more upset because she'd just had a call from the daughter of an old Michigan friend.  Janet called to tell my mom that her mom had died on January 22 and my mom had been too distraught to talk.  After I calmed her down a bit I called the number in my cell phone under Janet's name and, fortunately, got in touch with her.  We talked for about 20 minutes and I got a lot more detail than I cared to share with Mom.  By the time I left, she'd been to lunch and was beginning to think she's not so bad off.

I love Gary Larson and The Far Side!

I do too!  I used to get the Far Side daily calender, but either they stopped making them, or I just stopped buying them. But they're all still very funny!

This will be a busy-ish weekend for me.  I'm just about to leave to go to my sister's to visit for a while, then I'm going to a party reunion for the cast and crew of "The Tempest" that I ran sound for last year.

Tomorrow, my friend Margo's daughter, Alexis, is doing another one-woman cabaret performance.  Last year, she wrote her own show and she was very good.  I am excited to see this new show.  She lives in Portland, so we'll have to leave early tomorrow afternoon, and then drive all the way back afterward.

From DR TCB:
Quote
I saw Ashland on the news tonight.  Wind storm or landslide.

You left out the tree that  fell on a house.  The people are ok though.

Our friend in LA also saw our news.  I was a bit surprised as it appeared Grants Pass had far more flooding than we did.

I'm down to only a couple of PAINT YOUR WAGON numbers, and i will hopefully finish them tomorrow.  They'll go on my invoice for Feb. 16.

I still have to open a cut in one number in all the orchestra parts this week as well.  I'm hoping to hand everything in to Joshie on Thursday.

  1st after BK!

Fell asleep last night over the iPad and now I am awake and sneezing. Just tried some more of that zincam and black elderberry stuff

While at the drug store I looked at the selection of Zicam, none of which said holistic.  Exactly which one do you have?

FEEL BETTER VIBES!!!!
