Surgery VIBES for TCB!
A lot of us have either had or will eventually have the cataract thing, and I hear nothing but great things about it.
BK, I am seriously worried about your arm. I hope you get your butt to that chiropractor ASAP.
And the word of the day is: ESPOUSE!
.Surgery VIBES for TCB!
A lot of us have either had or will eventually have the cataract thing, and I hear nothing but great things about it.
My dad had the surgery when he was 83! I wish they could have done something about his hearing as well. When I rook him to the BMV to renew his license at the age of 85, the young man behind the counter said, "Mr Moore, look in that screen and tell me what letters you can read."
My dad said, "What?" And the young man repeated his comment. My dad processed it for what seemed an eternity and then said, "yes I'm wearing new shoes."
Oy!
Elmore, that reminds me of a conversation Kerry and I had once in a diner. (They had photos of Marilyn Monroe in one corner.)
Me: "We can sit in the Marilyn Corner."
DR Kerry: "What porn?"
Me: "Popcorn???"
DR Sandra was in stitches.
~ ~ ~ VIBES, VIBES, & MORE VIBES ~ ~ ~ for DR TCB and his surgery today!!!!
~ ~ ~ REST, RECOVERY, & HEALING VIBES ~ ~ ~ for bk!!!!!!!!!
Watched the final Letterman - he went out simple, which is the best way. Then the James Corden Late Late Show comes on and within ten seconds you realize just how influential the Letterman show was on EVERY talk show in existence today.
Good morning, all! It's a Toyland day: I have two of the last three Gentlemen, Be Seated! scores to print out and a few more items to tote home.
Great news about DR DanM! May the success in your health long continue.

Often the least liked book has the better discussion.
Stayed in bed and slept. Something I ate last night was poisonous or didn't agree with me - I am so sick right now - blechhh. I've avoided throwing up thus far and maybe if I just stay in bed I can continue avoiding it.

DR JEANNE my BE ACTIVE brace is helping the pain somewhat....it's still there but it is not quite as severe.
I think it may help more as the day goes on.
The brace is for sale for $20 on the website, but I got a new one on EBAY for $6 including shipping.
Search for BEACTIVE Brace.
Bruce, you really should switch from Tylenol to an ibuprophen (like Advil). Ibuprophen is not just a pain-reliever, it also shrinks inflammation, which I'm sure your arm is also suffering from. So, it will actually help with healing, not just masking pain.
That is correct, DR Jrand64. Typically, once you are eligible for Medicare, you are ineligible to be covered through the exchange - at least, with any kind of discount or subsidy.
I tried to watch Letterman last night, but I'd taken my sleeping pill, which worked extra fast.
I got about ten minutes in, then the next thing I knew, James Condon's show was ending.
And the word of the day is: ESPOUSE!
And The Song Of The Day Is: MARRIED

Pain relievers like Tylenol have never worked for me. I only use ibuprophen.
Well, DRs, this afternoon I had a very positive phone call about employment on something I believe I could be happily involved with. While nothing's set and the call was an inquiry, I said I was interested, and it bodes well.
Poor BK is getting hit with a one-two punch.
My thoughts are akin to DR Amy's: Tylenol isn't an anti-inflammatory. Personally, I use plain ole aspirin. Whatever you use, you should take it with some food.
I hope you feel better soon!
Not a good endorsement for the food at Vibrato.Stayed in bed and slept. Something I ate last night was poisonous or didn't agree with me - I am so sick right now - blechhh. I've avoided throwing up thus far and maybe if I just stay in bed I can continue avoiding it.:o

That's great, Larry! Good luck!! ;D
(Hopefully, you're the only one that they're calling with an inquiry!)
I just got up after a three-hour nap. I'm glad I have this Dragon speak and spell system so that I can type this without actually being able to see anything. The surgery went well, but took about an hour and a half longer because they couldn't get my I dilate. I would have to get the surgery done on one of the brightest days of the year. Everything is still blurry. Plus I have to wear sunglasses in the house, but still I think I see a difference in my vision. Anyway A-OK.
Went back to bed - I'm so nauseous I'm not even paying attention to my arm. So far I've avoided throwing up, but it's getting to the point where that may be the only option left.
No food today.

Finally got out of bed and went and picked up mail - one completely irritating piece of mail that I deposited directly into the trash where it belonged. Still queasy and going to the loo quite often - I'm hoping that all those visits do the job in getting this guck out of me.
