Well, you've read the notes, the notes were armed and ready, and now it is time for you to post until the armed cows come home.

Watched the final Letterman - he went out simple, which is the best way.  Then the James Corden Late Late Show comes on and within ten seconds you realize just how influential the Letterman show was on EVERY talk show in existence today.

Gotta love ol' J.S. Bach!  I especially love the fugue that starts about half way through:

Good morning, all.

Practically non-existent dreams last couple of nights.  And who's complaining?  Not me.  But I had a second wind and stayed up far too late, and actually had trouble falling asleep, so I believe a li'l nap will be in order sometime today to make up for that.

Surgery VIBES for TCB!

A lot of us have either had or will eventually have the cataract thing, and I hear nothing but great things about it.

Good morning, all!  It's a Toyland day: I have two of the last three Gentlemen, Be Seated! scores to print out and a few more items to tote home.

Great news about DR DanM! May the success in your health long continue.

BK, I am seriously worried about your arm.  I hope you get your butt to that chiropractor ASAP.

Surgery VIBES for TCB!

A lot of us have either had or will eventually have the cataract thing, and I hear nothing but great things about it.

My dad had the surgery when he was 83! I wish they could have done something about his hearing as well.  When I rook him to the BMV to renew his license at the age of 85, the young man behind the counter said, "Mr Moore, look in that screen and tell me what letters you can read."

My dad said, "What?"  And the young man repeated his comment.  My dad processed it for what seemed an eternity and then said, "yes I'm wearing new shoes."

Oy!

Agree, get thee to the doctor and get that ARM diagnosed and back to normal.

One cannot go out into the world UNARMED.

The ARMS race is on.

We must ARM him to the teeth with our vibes.

And we must not groan in so doing.

DR Elmore, same with my dad who just turned 90!  He wore glasses all his life and now doesn't need anything except reading glasses.  But his hearing....?    Oy!

Elmore, that reminds me of a conversation Kerry and I had once in a diner.  (They had photos of Marilyn Monroe in one corner.)

Me: "We can sit in the Marilyn Corner."
DR Kerry: "What porn?"
Me: "Popcorn???"

DR Sandra was in stitches.

I tried to watch Letterman last night, but I'd taken my sleeping pill, which worked extra fast.

I got about ten minutes in, then the next thing I knew, James Condon's show was ending.

I enjoyed THE HUMBLING.

If it wasn't for BIRDMAN, I'm sure it would have done much better.
