"Don't worry about it, these things happen."
And now we're all wet.
The Putnam County Foundation photographer was there at six o'clock and took a lot of backstage photos and photos in the tech area....and in the theatre. Then he stayed and took photos of the entire show! I thought he would leave at intermission, but he was having a good time, so instead he set up his tripod and took more pictures....and stayed afterwards to take even more....
I hope they are posted somewhere so we can see them.
Glad your surgery went well, Druxy.
Hillary Clinton in her interview with CNN this morning looked so much like Celeste Holm. I mean that as a compliment to both, of course.
Not meaningful, but it's a post.
Surgery went well.
Now I have to deal with the hobbling around, which may take months.
I have a scooter, a walker and crutches.
ASK BK
did you have a criteria for the eight songs you chose for Jenna?
When practicing, I always find it helpful to use a metrognome...

Well, DR George - I'm sure that the next time you have your tonsils out, you'll think the better of ordering nachos. ;)
Sorry to have been E&T. Chas is correct I was foolish to be devoted to this sore throat as it is now hanging around and has invited its friend, Nonstop Sneezing to move in as well

Rehearsal was fine last night with a couple of technical glitches that had NEVER happened. When I spoke to the technical director I was told: "Don't worry about it, these things happen."
I said why? What caused them?
"We don't know....that's just the way it is....."
No......do your job....check the microphones....make sure you have the right music cue loaded...and don't forget to play it.....and follow your script if you're doing the light cues....don't guess when you think the scene is over.....sometimes the actors have SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.

DR Jrand64 - your production has had MORE than its due share of maladies and misfortunes.
ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

I had another gallbladder attack last night. I will be so glad to see it go!

Sorry to hear, DR Cillaliz.
Good morning, all! I wish I were still in bed.
This is another day in special collections at the Columbia library. I'll first look over the full score of "Fare You Well" with my new sketch for the verses and verify that the bar count is good, then I'll finish up the next number, "The Dome," call it quits on Flatbox 243, request orchestra parts for Friday, and head home. I'll be at Rockefeller Center tomorrow seeing my barber.
I have nothing else to report. The doldrums continue.
VIBES FOR VIXMOM!!!!

Is there still a Teuscher's Chocolates in Rockefeller Center? Yum.....Champagne Truffles.
Constant sneezing has moved out but Sore Throat has remained
My favorite quote from the phone conversation:
" I love hanging with stoned Granny"
VIBES for Cilla, when are you scheduled for your surgery?
I don;t know what happened at work today everything was going so well - it was 1 pm and everything was on track and then suddenly it was 5:15 and all hell broke loose
Overheard at the funeral I attended yesterday "I don't want to be here. All the funerals I want to go to never happen"
Constant sneezing has moved out but Sore Throat has remained
Vibes that it goes away quickly.
You might want to try the medicine Mom used to give me: Hot tea, lemon and bourbon. It's guaranteed to make you feel better.

I am out of lemon and too lazy to make tea.... 1 out of 3 should probably work as well , doncha think?
VIBES for Cilla, when are you scheduled for your surgery?
Next Wednesday, the 15th. I check in at 8 am and surgery is at 10. I'll be home sometime in the afternoon. I'll try to check in and let you all know how it went
Overheard at the funeral I attended yesterday "I don't want to be here. All the funerals I want to go to never happen"
If they can do it laproscopicly, (I know it isn't spelled right) it's same day. If they get started and need to do open surgery then I'll be in the hospital for three days or so.VIBES for Cilla, when are you scheduled for your surgery?

when I had mine I was in the hospital for 3 days -- but then again I had mine while I was still recuperating from chemo and was still using a feeding tube so it is probably not reasonable to compare experiences
:)I don;t know what happened at work today everything was going so well - it was 1 pm and everything was on track and then suddenly it was 5:15 and all hell broke loose
When all hell breaks loose, just stand up and say, "Get thee behind me, Satan." And head for the door.

That's terrible! So why am I laughing so hard?

they did mine that latroscopicwhateverway and the scarring is really minimal and the healing went very well
I have had absolutely no problems since so I wish you the same success
Only I was laughing at the funeral....not like Mary Tyler Moore and Chuckles the Clown, but I had to stop myself

Thanks. I am confident that it will go well and after the pain I went through last night after eating very little fat, I want it done asap. I want to eat again
But as I said it is hard to judge by me because I had not eaten any solid food for over 4 months at the time I had my surgery and I was still relearning swallowing so your recovery and resumption of normal eating will probably be much fasterMy surgeon said after about 2 weeks I shouldn't have any dietary restrictions, but there are people who have problems longer than that
I am sure glad to see all of you. I was worried.
Only I was laughing at the funeral....not like Mary Tyler Moore and Chuckles the Clown, but I had to stop myself
when that happens to have to cover your face with both hands and bow your head and people will just think you were overcome by emotion LOL
Alan Rickman on helium
I could listen to him read the telephone book
Alan Rickman on helium

I had another gallbladder attack last night. I will be so glad to see it go!
Watching Danny Kaye in the Five Pennies. Some great music, but the script could be better. I really love Barbara Bel Geddes, always have, but she's a real surprise in this one.
I am sure glad to see all of you. I was worried.

So my leading lady Beth....who plays the mother.....has no voice today and her doctor told her to rest today so she will have a voice tomorrow.
So we will be doing a SHORT rehearsal tonight.....without her.
VIBES FOR VIXMOM!!!!
Vixdad's Mum (who broker her hip a couple of months ago) had to go back and have the surgery redone

Well, here's one for the books: Eric Clapton just ordered a Kritzerland CD.
