This is another day in special collections at the Columbia library. I'll first look over the full score of "Fare You Well" with my new sketch for the verses and verify that the bar count is good, then I'll finish up the next number, "The Dome," call it quits on Flatbox 243, request orchestra parts for Friday, and head home. I'll be at Rockefeller Center tomorrow seeing my barber.

I have nothing else to report. The doldrums continue.

I said why? What caused them?

"We don't know....that's just the way it is....."

No......do your job....check the microphones....make sure you have the right music cue loaded...and don't forget to play it.....and follow your script if you're doing the light cues....don't guess when you think the scene is over.....sometimes the actors have SOMETHING ELSE TO DO.

Then he stayed and took photos of the entire show! I thought he would leave at intermission, but he was having a good time, so instead he set up his tripod and took more pictures....and stayed afterwards to take even more....

I hope they are posted somewhere so we can see them.

He wasn't sure they could do it because of issues with the roof line and drainage in my back yard. The price he ball parked was way more than I'm willing to pay. So, today I called a company that builds decks. They will be coming to give me an estimate tomorrow night. So, my screened in porch dream may just stay that.

I was in the emergency room and begging for pain meds (which they told me I had maxed out on to no good effect) and the doctor came and told me he was going to need to do surgery but wasn't sure if they could do it the lathrowhatever way -- I told him - "I don't care if you go in through the sole of my foot, just get the damn thing OUT!"

My surgeon said after about 2 weeks I shouldn't have any dietary restrictions, but there are people who have problems longer than that

I didn't know what to expect, nor anything about Brian Wilson's life. Paul Dano and John Cusack play Brian at two different times in his life and I thought that they both did a great job showing the effects of his diagnosed mental illness.

I noticed them mainly during the Paul Dano scenes when they were in the recording studio. I don't think that they really were necessary, but since they were used sparingly and to me they seemed to have a specific use, they weren't so distracting.
