Well, you've read the notes, the notes were invited and final, and now it is time for you to post until the invited and final cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MACEDOINE!
-
First after BK? At 7:50?
-
First after FJL after BK? At 8:10?
-
The heat wave has left the building.
-
Today's high: 73. With rain all day.
-
Vibes for a great preview tonight!
-
Continue to break the legs at the preview!
-
Good morning, all!
I could not force myself to leave my bed this morning. I blame it on the rain, the humidity, and my inertia.
-
I am back to my desk and the Moross score this morning. I hope by Monday to have all of my notes entered into my copyist's work score and then I can return to Columbia to catch anything I missed or to answer any questions.
-
DR singdaw, happy anniversary!
-
Happy to hear the dress went well. I knew it would.
-
So, where are those photos of DR TCB terrorizing the neighborhood on that scooter?
-
Dr Seuss: The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins.

Preview vibes for BK and company!

Preview vibes for BK and company!
I couldn't have said it better myself!
-
Dr Seuss: The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins.
Also one of my most favorite.
-
Today's notes videos will have to wait until late tonight.
-
I was supposed to be at a special event for work at 7:30am.
I awoke and looked at the clock. It was 7:25am.
:P
-
It is going to be one of those days.
-
When I got to the venue - slightly late - no one else had yet arrived.
-
Whew!
-
When they finally did arrive, I could have earned the Academy Award...
Where were you?
:)
-
Thanks to all for your anniversary wishes!
-
Yes Happy Anniversary + 1 day to DR SINGDAW who was on time.
-
Nice videos in the notes. Continued vibes for MR BK & Co.
-
TOD: None. And that includes that pitiful excuse for a musical by those two hacks who couldn't write a real Broadway song if they tried.
-
TOD: Who couldn't love "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas"?
-
Sami was amazing last night! It was interesting to see how just a look that she gives the audience made us laugh. Even in "Annie" which she's performed many times before, you/she added a couple looks that weren't there before and it really added more humor to the song.
-
Dr Seuss: The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins.
Also one of my most favorite.
I was talking about this one just this past Saturday afternoon...with a friend.
-
Singdaw: Congratulations on your anniversary. You said it has been 25 years since your "ceremony". What ceremony was that?
And how long has it been since your wedding here in California?
-

-
Today "may" be a bit cooler in Oakland. Yesterday's high was 95. Today's is supposed to be 86. We shall see what we shall see. "Inland" temps are to be in the 100s again.
-
Hey!
-
When they finally did arrive, I could have earned the Academy Award...
Where were you?
:)
;D
-
It is quiet today.
-
We have our own ladies of the evil eye today. I'm going to head out for a walk.
-
I'm up, I'm up - eight and a half hours of sleep, I think.
-
Thursday afternoon greetings! Richard and I had a fruitful IKEA trip last night and I now have a new art cart next to my work table. Photos to follow...
-
Here is my new IKEA Raskog rolling cart, topped with a walnut sewing box that my Dad made for Mom almost 60 years ago:
-
And here is the
sewing papercrafting box fully open:
-
Very nice DR GINNY
-
Indeed, very nice.
(Not surprising, though, to see how well organized a person DR Ginny is!) :)
-
I am practicing my insane patch changes, whilst making sure I know the damn notes (a few weird things, nothing actually difficult) in ASSASSINS.
-
And here is the sewing papercrafting box fully open:
What a wonderful box to have. It is beautiful too.
You obviously needed the rolling cart. It is already full-lol
-
Thanks for the nice comments about my art cart.
DR Jane, yes, I'm thrilled to have repurposed the box. It was missing one screw and had collected a lot of dust in our basement. One of our Lima parishioners is a fantastic woodworker who repaired it, cleaned it up for me, and said some very complimentary things about my dad's handiwork.
-
Nice parishioner to restore the precious box for you.
-
DR Ginny my new Vera Bradly purses just arrived. The pattern on the new black and white one is nicer than on my old purse. If I had known I might have purchased a 3rd purse.
It came with a coupon for $30 off on a $125 purchase. If you want I will send it to you. It expires on Oct. 16th.

Preview vibes for BK and company!
~~~Ditto!!~~~
:P
Be there. Done that.
One time a few years ago, a rep had scheduled a meeting with me at 10:00 am, and I got a call from one of my staff at about 10:05 asking where I was! :o I RUSHED to work without even taking a shower. :P
-
Fortunately, I only live a mile away, so I got there at about 10:15. We had planned on an hour for the meeting, but it ended up only taking about a half hour, so it was all good. The rep was very understanding.
I have never missed a meeting since then.
-
Still on Page 2?
-
I've been pondering dinner.
-
And a nap.
-
And on that note (F#):
SHIPOOPI!
-
It's been a drab rainy day today.
-
DR George have heard the local man who plays taps every night?
-
I'm feeling very lazy, but i did get through two Moross numbers and p[art of a third.
-
Well, i may not make it to Page 3, but I can make a push toward it.
-
Oh, hell.
-
Page 3!
-
You did it :)
-
Well I am off to opening night....cards are written....and a bowl of candy has been purchased.
Vibes please that the hair stays on and that the audience laughs......which of course will happen a lot if the first doesn't....
Anyway.....we're off....
Where you are in Vancouver, or here in Olympia? Either way, no. Do tell.
-
Just got a box from Amazon.com -- a 36-count package of Company Coffee with Chicory K-cups. Am having a cup of chicory coffee right now and it's delicieuse!
-
Good afternoon, all.
We're having a thunderstorm right now.
-
Break-a-leg vibes for JRand and co.
-
TGTIF!
:D
TOD:
Bartholomew and the Oobleck
The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins
I hauled them out just the other day.
-
Break a leg, Jrand65!
What an incredibly irritating last two hours. I had to go do a radio interview for Welcome to My World - that was fine and fun. I was trying to send an e-mail from the phone and it kept saying it wouldn't send and couldn't access cellular data. Then I tried to call someone and it was then clear that AT&T shut the phone off. They took a payment (I'm on auto pay) on August 26, which was right around the time I got my replacement cc for the compromised one that I'd shut down and that was used for that auto pay. But it looked like it had gone through but just in case I put the new card in their system right then. But they didn't use it and never contacted me and then just shut the phone off. To say I was angry would be a gross understatement. It then took thirty minutes to finally get someone to explain to me what actually had happened, and then I paid - but they said it could take up to an hour to come back on. Meanwhile, I was trying to pick up the programs for tonight and I'd been sent a map that took me everywhere BUT the place and I couldn't find it, and of course couldn't call or text anyone or use the GPS. So, I came home and someone had to make arrangements to have the programs delivered directly to the theater.
-
I'm stuck here until the helper gets here, and then I have to eat something before I pass out.
-
And then I will come home, take some aspirin and relax until I have to go to the theater.
-
Oops. I meant this for TCB. The guy is in Tacoma.
-
I could use some shoulder vibes. I rolled my ankle on a loose stone on our walk today. I didn't hit the ground hard when I fell because Keith was holding on to my right hand. Now I know why I have been told I should not zip line. I am having trouble using that arm.
I doubt I will be talking much more tonight.
Still haven't heard of him.
;)
thanks george
-
Back from yet another chopped salad and bagel - three days in a row now.
-
Page three? Really?
-
I'd say that was rather - pedestrian.
-
I shall now be on my way to the theater for our first preview.
-
I am now leaving work and going to my parents' house to help them put together a new chain saw of some sort. Hopefully, it'll be easy.
Be back later.
-
The west coast folks and DR Laura would envy our weather
-
It has been raining all day
-
Around 11 am it looked to be 11 pm the sky was black and the rain was coming down so hard you could not see out the window, All the iPhone users had their phones pinging like crazy with flash flood warnings
-
Well it is rather Late in the day for this but..
Do you tour, Vixmom?
-
I'd buy a ticket.
-
Vibes for Jane.
-
Settling down with a production of Eccentricities of a Nightingale with Blythe Danner and Frank Langella. Should be fun.
-
Hello, 2 guests.
-
Vibes for Jane.
Thanks. I hope resting it overnight will help.
-
five more work days until vacation
I hope you have a great one.
-
The rain today came down in torrents. The storm knocked out the power in a few sections of the city and created the worst traffic nightmare imaginable. It took forever to go about 10 miles.
Glad for the rain and the time I had while stuck in traffic to enjoy a rainbow.
-
I also had time to listen to a big chunk of "The Prodigal Son," a mystery from Colleen McCullough.
-
Do you tour, Vixmom?
I am going to be touring route 95 soon!
-
Vibes for Jane, be careful, we like you unbroken and whole!
-
I haven't read any of her books since "Thorn Birds." I'm liking this one, but I hope my first guess as to the killer(s) isn't right.
-
Falling asleep. Goodrnnigtn
-
So, I went to the clinic at work today. The nurse sent me to my doctor.
-
The doctor was clueless as to what's wrong with me. But she prescribed some medicine anyway.
-
So, it was a waste of my time. And $60 for the medicine.
-
Do you tour, Vixmom?
I am going to be touring route 95 soon!
Dr. Seuss goes on the road!
-
Got locked out of the page for a moment there.
-
I seem to have cleared out the joint.
-
And I must leave in a moment.
-
But not before we leave this page.
-
One more.
-
Five!
-
John I made several attempts to ask what the doctor said.
-
So, what did the doctor say?
-
Finally!
-
I have been trying for two hours to get on HHW.
-
It has been irritating.
-
Not that I have anything important to say.
-
Sorry, I forgot to get any pictures of my chopper.
-
Finally!
It was just gone again for a little while.
-
I am now leaving work and going to my parents' house to help them put together a new chain saw of some sort. Hopefully, it'll be easy.
Be back later.
I fairly easily put together my parents' new electric chain saw on a pole. I just had to attach the bar and the chain and that was it. They still need to get some chain oil, then they're set.
-
My mom made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. It was very good.
-
I'm now home and have just watched the first episode of Stephen Colbert's "The Late Show."
-
It was a pretty good first episode.
-
The best part was the very end when his house band (Jon Batiste and Stay Human) sang "Everyday People" with a bunch of guests, including Ben Folds.
-
It was great!
-
Deja vu?
129 and 136 match.
-
It has been tough for me to post tonight. Others posted, so it must be my computers.
-
So please excuse my absence for most of this evening.
-
Continued "Break a leg" vibes for BK, Sami, and the crew.
-
Back from a fun preview. Couldn't get on the site - one of the servers was hiccuping, and they got it fixed pronto.
-
129 and 136 match.
Weird! I have no idea how that happened. :-\
-
I think that I tried to post it the first time in a separate tab from what I was reading and my tablet froze. I kept trying to post it, but gave up and copied my message into another post in another tab and closed the original tab without realizing that my original message actually had posted...if that makes sense.
-
Anyway, there's no reason to delete it now
-
;)
-
And...
-
...now...
-
...since...
-
...we're so close...
