Well, you've read the notes, the notes had an attack of allergy, and now it is time for you to post until the allergic cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: FACTOTUM!
-
First post after BK!
-
Second post after BK!

Tom, I really want to see "...Ballyhoo."

Tom, I really want to see "...Ballyhoo."
You really should. It is well worth the drive up here.

You really should. It is well worth the drive up here.
It's not a difficult drive, either.
-
You have until March 20.

You have until March 20.
I'll make a note to remind myself.

I remember now!
THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALANCE
-
Well, good night, George!
-
Good night, Tom!
-
Good morning, all!
-
Another rocky night of sleep along with some weird dreams I no longer remember beyond an endless bus ride. I do remember waking up at one point and thinking, Was I in Australia?
-
I have two 1776 numbers to work on over the weekend: Bows and Exit Music.
-
I am getting quite excited about this Friday's orchestra reading of the new scores and parts.
-
Josh's brother Jeremy, who plays flute, piccolo, oboe, English horn, clarinets and saxes, is making his Broadway debut in the pit of Fiddler on the Roof this week. I am quite excited for him. He's also playing in the orchestra for 1776.
-
Laundry. Today or tomorrow?
-
Coffee!
-
Good morning, all.
-
I am off soon to play auditions, followed by a show tonight.
-
Someone I don't know, but they've done work in this little theater group, made a Broadway debut last night, in Matilda.
-
Yes, vixmom, Stew Leonard's is a Connecticut thing, branching out little by little.
-
Well, I'm alive. I can say that much.
-
And I guess that's about it. Must get moving, though the body hates me for it.
-
Saturday.....used to be a work day.....oh well.....
-
Audition and show vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
Additional thanks to all for the Mom vibes!

And he bows, oh he bows
For he knows, yes he knows
That it's hi-hi-hi-diddle diddle
It's my heart, Tom and his fiddle
-
And a good morning to all
-
Good morning, all.
Long day ahead including brunch and dinner out.
And I'm already running behind.
-
TOD:
Low-carb is the only thing that has ever worked for me, but only when partnered with exercise.
What would work even more is if I could just get rid of my sugar addiction.
-
But I doubt I'll ever give up sugar.
In fact, I have plans to make lemon curd and grapefruit curd later today. Not exactly sugar-free.
-
I decided that I would do the laundry and it is now in the washers. I need to tidy up the apartmetn and vacuum. Then on to 1776.
-
I really want to see 1776. I have to see if I can figure out s way to do it
-
Saturday morning greetings! I've decided that I can't sit in one recliner all day and sleep in another recliner all night, so I'm puttering in my Momcave. I'm a terrible shut-in...
-
I'm up, I'm up after way too little sleep. I was so tired I couldn't see straight and yet I could not fall asleep.

-
After posting last night I read two pages in my new book and crashed, without charging my Nook.
-
Keith did not charge his iPad. We are sitting at a charging table at the airpirt. He is drinkink coffee while I have hot chocolate.

No. Can't afford it. And I've already seen it with DR vixmom.

TOD:
I don't expect anyone to remember, but lost 20 pounds last September, and I've miraculously kept it off. I'm doing two things to achieve that: #1. I'm leaving all my cash and credit cards at home, so I can't use the vending machines at work. And #2. If I eat out, I usually eat only half the meal and take the rest home. That's it!
-
Congratulations to Jeremy!!!
-
I appear to also be experiencing an attack of allergy. I cannot stop sneezing
-
I really want to see 1776. I have to see if I can figure out s way to do it
I spent some time with my calendar the other day trying to justify a quick long weekend in NYC, but it just won't work for us.
-
Good afternoon.
-
David Edward Byrd's poster for the Pan Pacific when there was still hope it would be restored.
-
Good morning. Barely.
-
Hello All:
TOD:
Throughout the years I have tried many diets.
Eating right, exercise is what works!!!
-
Back from a jog, then a side of bacon, then picking up no packages.
-
Now I get to relax until the stumble-through at 3:00. I jogged off whatever calories the bacon had, so I'm starting from scratch when I eat later.
-
Show vibes for Chas!
-
Jane is very close to 67000. Is that a round enough number to be a milestone?
-

That sounds like great advice.
-
I was taught to clean my plate. The only time I've EVER brought anything home is occasionally Chinese food.
-
Page three? Really?
-
85% funded - only $1500 to go! I'm really hoping we achieve soon so that we maybe can also raise a bit extra to cover the Indiegogo/Paypal fees.
-
Back from somewhat sparsely attended auditions with an hour to relax before leaving for the show.
We had to tear the "pit" down last night and have to set up again this evening because a member of this church died and they were having the funeral service in there today.

That's pretty cool! Congrats to Jeremy!

Laundry. Today or tomorrow?
I don't know who said it, but..."Why do today what can be put off until tomorrow?"
;)
-
I decided that I would do the laundry and it is now in the washers. I need to tidy up the apartmetn and vacuum. Then on to 1776.
Fine...whatever. ::)

DITTO!
~~~Ditto, Too!!~~~
-
Congratulations, Amy. Glad you've been able to keep it off.
-
Got the grapefruit juice on the stove now for the curd.
-
This morning's brunch would have been a great way to lose weight. The chef forgot the salt in too many dishes, so the deviled crabs, the biscuits and gravy, the beignets were all flatter than they needed to be, so they were tasted and left uneaten. A crab omelet was very good, so were oysters on the half shell (though someone forgot to loosen them from their shells or serve us oyster forks).
-
Several packages arrived today, including one from Kritzerland (Paul Simon album currently on) and another with Fred's book. I'll be busy for a while.
-
Jane is very close to 67000. Is that a round enough number to be a milestone?
It is in my book, but sadly, I won't be around to preserve the moment or posterity. Hopefully, someone else might. Today, I have several errands to run before I go to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts to usher for "The National Broadway Tour" of The Producers (http://www.washingtoncenter.org/upcoming-events/2016/3/5/the-national-broadway-tour-of-the-producers.html). I expect it to be well attended and a good performance. If not...well, at least I didn't pay as much as $86 (plus fees) to see it.
;D
-
And now, I must be off.
Have a good day, all!
-
Hope you enjoy the show, George!
That's quite an HHW-related day of mail!
-
My medicine is kicking me......cold flashes, coughing fits, fever, and drowsiness.
Just another Saturday.
We hope to get a full report from DR GEORGE.
That's good advice from DR AMY.
My diet: No bread, and no eating after 6 p.m. Always works.....I am doing that right now....
-
Once I start rehearsals for LITTLE WOMEN and ON GOLDEN POND, it will be easier to do both.....
-
Stumble through vibes for MR BK.
-
The return call from Social Security never came yesterday. I shall call them back on Monday....oh yes, I shall call them back.....they will get a call.....and I have the EXTENSION number....yes that person will get A CALL from ME!
-
For everyone who is unable to attend 1776 in New York, I will remind you again that you can see it in Greencastle, Indiana, in August. I shall probably be playing someone in the show...I have my suspicions who it will be....but the cast is not to be announced yet.
Congratulations!!! I like your method of avoidance.
-
Maybe I will be in the show and get to sit for two hours beside the man who directed a show last year. He wants to be in the show, too. I offered him any advice he asked for and supported his production in every way. Then he came to see THE GAME'S AFOOT in which I played the lead.....and left without saying a word to me.....in fact he stood on the other side of the theatre......
-
I spent some time with my calendar the other day trying to justify a quick long weekend in NYC, but it just won't work for us.
If you go anywhere it should be to a warm climate to help get rid of that cough.
;D
That's ok, I don't really need it preserved ;D
-
Obviously we are home. I got a bit air sick on the bumpy flight home. A walk helped some. Now we are off to the market.
-
I love to eat less out and take leftovers home. If we are traveling I tend to finish my meals if they are especially good, which is not necessarily a good thing.
Overall, I have learned to just not finish all the food on my plate if I have eaten enough.
-
Welcome home to DR JANE & KEITH.
-
Thank you DR Jrand.
-
I brined those thick porkchops I boughtnyesterday using a brine recipe I found on the inter webs, with apple juice and brown sugar added into the brine.
-
I sautéed some onions in butter then kept them warm in a bowl while I seared the chops. Then the onions and two chopped onions went into the skillet with some apple juice and white wine and then I covered it and let in simmer
-
The. I cheated on the sides... Stovetop pork stuffing...only I made it with apple juice instead of water and steam fresh broccoli florets
-
I suspect there were vast quantities of calories involved
-
There was no jogging involved
-
I had to pop up to the supermarket to get some apples I was so glad I did.
-
I ran into an elderly man from our congregation that I have not seen for months, I knew he lived alone but I did not know his last name or phone number
. He ha d been attending regularly for about a year and we always spoke during coffe hour but he is not a enrolled member so the church office did not have his information
-
I have been worried about him and was so glad to see him. It turned out he had had some medical issues and was in the hospital and then in rehab. We hugged and chatted for some time
-
I have been popping sambucol all day and also using the Zicam allergy spray
-
The sneezing stopped I am happy to say.
-
I also picked up some lemons at the market. There will be some hot tea with lemon and honey in my near future
-
I don't know if I have enough drivel to fill up an entire page
-
I did do two loads of laundry today
-
Which reminds mre, I need to get the second load out of the dryer
-
Fascinating earth shattering news I know
-
Oh and I watched tomorrow land
-
Well I didn't really do it justice as it was playing in the living room while I was cooking in the kitchen
-
I was surprised by the method of resolving the final dilemma
-
I think I would like to sit and watch it properly
-
Hell o three guests
-
Why don't you come and save us all from the tedium that is vixmom?
-
Ah well no rest for the wicked
-
Tomorrow afternoon our church is having a trip to the local cinema to see Risen. Then back to the church for a supper and discussion
-
So I shall not be here to bore you all to tears
-
I wonder where Cilla has been
-
I wonder where page five is
-
I wonder if Ginny is feeling better yet
-
I wonder if Chas is winning the fight against the cough
-
Vixdad just handed me a dish of coffee ice cream
-
So obviously I am not one for giving diet advice
-
I am going to walk in the rain. I really enjoyed the sunshine in Vegas. It was comfortable, not too hot.
-
Except for don't do as I do
-
Page five has been located
-
My work here is done
-
And I chased awAy be guests
-
Laters
-
I have a bowl of ice cream calling me
-
Stumble-through was really fun.
-
Then some food at Casa Vega - using today as my splurge day.
-
Home now and really need to relax.
-
I'm full.
-
What, everyone took a nap?
-
Good evening!
-
I woke up this morning sick as a dog.
-
My head was filled with cotton.
-
My throat was sore.
-
And my body was aching.
-
I fed Nicky and went back to bed.
-
It didn't help that I didn't sleep well last night.
-
I got back out of bed at about eleven, still feeling rough.
-
First thing I did was call my friends who were going to see GODSPELL with me tonight.
-
It is being done by my church this weekend only.
-
I knew there was no way I was going to make it to dinner and then the show.
-
If I am feeling better tomorrow, I can catch the afternoon matinee.
-
I don't think my friends were too disappointed about not seeing the show.
-
One of the friends was going to attend kicking and screaming because they don't care for the show.
-
It isn't my favorite show, but I wanted to support my church branching out into doing theater.
-
I did watch THE MUMMY today; well, most of it. I will finish it tomorrow.
-
This is the Brendon Fraser version, not the old Universal Pictures film.
-
I think the old version of THE MUMMY was my least favorite of the old "horror films" from Universal that we used to watch again and again on Saturday nights.
-
It's Alive!
-
Six
-
Actually I wasn't crazy about any of those old Universal horror films.
-
Once I start rehearsals for LITTLE WOMEN and ON GOLDEN POND, it will be easier to do both.....
Are you Jo or Amy in Little Women?
-
But in those days we had four TV channels and no VCRs or DVDs.
-
Saturday nights were not the greatest time for TV watching.
-
Except, of course, when Saturday Night at the Movies came to NBC.
-
Hi, TCB.
-
I watched some great movies on that program.
-
I ate too much today. And it was good.
-
I'm now off to bed.
-
Congratulations, Jane, on your milestone.
-
Good night, all.
-
My favorite was TITANIC with Clifton Webb and Barbara Stanwyck.
-
Even at that early age I thought it was strange that Barbara was more butch than Clifton.
-
I had never heard of the Titanic before I watched that movie.
-
And thus started my lifetime fascination with the ship and its brush with fate.
-
Tonight I am managing to stay awake to watch Celtic Thunder on PBS.
-
This is their newest special LEGACY. This is probably the first of the three or four times I will watch it.
-
I do hate these pledge breaks.
-
But it gives me time to type at HHW.
-
It is a little boring chatting with myself, but I have been doing that all of my life.
-
PBS is getting really cheap. They have split the concert into two DVDs instead of the one DVD that they used to push on the pledge breaks.
-
Well, why not. More money for PBS that way.
-
My stomach is still not doing well tonight.
-
Not the best Celtic Thunder concert, but it was okay.
-
This is the Brendon Fraser version, not the old Universal Pictures film.
I like this movie!
-
Feel better DR TCB!
-
Better than watching DATELINE NBC, or 48 HOURS, or any of the other great programs on Saturday night television.
-
I guess things haven't really changed that much since when we had only four channels.
-
One more post.
-
Pat Conroy has passed away.
-
Seven!
-
Are you feeling okay now, Jane?
-
I was rambling along, so I didn't even notice that Jane was here.
-
A couple of people came and left while I was just rolling along.
-
I guess I should just shut up.
-
Congratulations, Jane, on your milestone.
Thank you.
-
Congratulations, Jane, on your milestone.
Thank you.
Indeed! Congratulations, Jane.
-
Thanks.
-
It is time to read myself to sleep.
'night.
-
Good night, Jane. Welcome home.
-
I was hoping to hear from George about THE PRODUCERS
-
Perhaps I should just sign off, so that other people can come out and play without me bothering them.
-
Page 7? Really?
