We are in the lobby of our hotel waiting for our friends. Once they join us we shall take a taxi to the cruise ship. I wish the ship set sail tomorrow instead of staying in port for one more day of Athens.
I must get to the NYPL today and see the exhibits before they come down.
Most excellent vibes and xylophones to BK!
DR JohnG, I feel pretty good today. Perhaps the new medication is helping!
We have our March Kritzerland show. I was going to put it here in the notes and on Facebook, but you know what will happen if I do - people will suddenly see where my head is going in terms of our shows and they'll just usurp the notion before we even get to March. But I'm very excited about it.

Why, are you tired of Athens?
TOD:
A couple of Disney movies for me, too: Moon Pilot, and I'll crib off of DR Elmore's sheet for Babes in Toyland.
Where's Poppa? and Little Murders affected me this way when I last saw them because the things in them that I thought were ABSOLUTELY FRICKIN' HILARIOUS back in the day seemed to land like rocks. But these films have a following and those re-watchings were some years back, very likely via VHS, so I'd honestly expect them to come back up in my estimation under the proper circumstances. But like BK's experience with Modesty Blaise (which I never saw), you never know.
There are others, but they don't come to mind. No doubt, a few are horror flicks that just don't cut the mustard. But big stuff, too, and here's one: Around the World in Eighty Days. I've tried to get through it a couple of times over the past couple of decades, but no go.
The "marine layer" (aka clouds and/or fog) has nearly burned off in Oakland CA. It's mostly sunny filtered through a haze.
It's 68 degrees F here in Oakland CA right now.
I always think it's cooler in Oregon and Washington.
I remember Edward Lee on TopChef.
I am watching last night's MASTER CHEF which I didn't get to see because our local FOX channel stayed with the bad weather reporting until after 9 p.m.
TOD:
I'm sure some exist, but I can't think of any films that I "loved" as a child or teen that I don't like now.
Great football game tonight!

Just a few hours early....the new and improved JRAND66!!!
Okay, I stole that from George.
Great football game tonight!
That means the Seahawks are winning.
I'm home and posting from my new computer on my big screen TV. I'm still checking it out to make sure that everything works. So far, so good. :)
It has Word, Publisher and Excel in the taskbar at the bottom, but they're not paid for, so I can't use those, or any of the Microsoft Office Suite that's pre-installed. I haven't paid either the one-time payment, or the annual subscription.
