Added the photo to the notes.
Tom, I've seen the movie versions of these, but not the stage versions:
COME BACK LITTLE SHEBA
PICNIC
BUS STOP
AUNTIE MAME
NO TIME FOR SERGEANTS
THE MATCHMAKER
WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION
But I did see CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF on stage, here in Olympia, and in London starring Brendan Fraser and Ned Beatty!
If you have never seen THE DARK AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS (the film), you owe it to yourself. One of my top ten favorite films of all time.
Robert Preston
Dorothy McGuire
Eve Arden
Angela Lansbury
Shirley Knight

Which one played Maggie the Cat?
Does On Demand have classic films?
Damn! Not available from Amazon.
Have a good day, George.
Dina Merrill has died at age 93. I saw her in On Your Toes.

Again, great photographic evidence of Old Friends at Factors.
Old Friends at Factors: A Memoir
I was shocked, shocked, to hear that BK had never been there, especially since the family homestead had been just down the street. Well, I might never have been to Factors either if it weren't for the fact (see what I did there?) that I, too, lived for one year just two blocks down the street -- on S. Beverly Drive at Cashio where friends had a condo that I was staying in while vacating my previous apartment and joining them on their sailing cruise in the Caribbean for several months.
However, the only food I remember eating in Factors was breakfast or brunch in which, to my knowledge, I only ever had a bagel with lox, cream cheese, and all the trimmings. God, those were delicious. But I'm glad to hear the place has survived the years, and especially glad to hear the pastrami is great. Want!
What great photos of MR BK, DR JANE & KEITH, and DR JEANNE. Looks like a great time was had by all!
And the food sounds delicious!
I just got an e-mail that said Roger Moore has died.
After seeing DR JohnG's list, I'd add these
The Madwoman of Chaillot (written in the 1940s, Broadway in 1950)
Ondine
Tiger At the Gates
The Enchanted
Ring Round the Moon
The Lark
Long Day's Journey into Night
The Chalk Garden
The Rainmaker
A Raisin in the Sun
Around 5:00 I had a panic attack and could not get back to sleep. Joshie and I have a week to finish this work for Rob and the 92nd Street Y. This will be tight.

Oh. Ouch. And yes, sadly, it's true.

DITTO and TRITTO!
DR Jeanne, I hope you had an easy drive back like Bruce did. We did not have my traffic either. We then went for a walk as I definitely operate yesterday.
I have nothing scheduled today so I'm taking my sweet time about things. I'm only now finishing breakfast.
DR Ron is, I imagine, about to have lunch.
Loved the first episode of A Place to Call Home, season 4.
I really should get my car washed.
BK's car looked quite lovely yesterday--spotless and shiny. Whereas mine...
DR Jrand, will you let us know the outcome of today's doctor's appointment? We want to hear how you're doing.
VIBES!!

Yes, Jane, traffic was as light as it gets on Pico these days.
As I know you are not a surgeon I take it that you said you OVERATE yesterday.
I think we all need to send in our applications to DR Ron's janitorial supervisor.

I had meant to advise you to watch the finale of Season 3 again. I was convinced our leading lady had been poisoned in that finale.
We are leaving the gate. Bye
More vibes for DR Jrand!
Has anyone read. THE PIGMAN, by Paul Zindel???9

I turned Rob Berman's mother on to A Place To Call Home. when I saw her backstage after The Golden Apple, the first thing she said was, "we have to talk about that Regina!"
We are leaving the gate. Bye
Are you home yet?
The doctor said that all cancer has been removed, but that I am good candidate for its return. He is building me up for chemo starting sometime in June, so that any and ALL cells that can't be seen right now can be gotten rid of before they start to spread.
So - we start the regime.....I have lost more weight....down to 179.8 lbs - my thinnest in decades. He told me I looked a lot older than I did when before surgery....so I told him his associate was better looking than he was...which made him laugh.
Thursday is follow up with the surgeon....so on we go. Thanks everyone for asking and for sending thoughts and vibes. It is wonderful to have people who care.
So, George is off watching people play their organs.
Temperatures down to the mid-sixties tomorrow.
Damn, damn, damn! I've grown accustomed....
No, not that. I took a pain pill this evening and slept thru the season finale of THE FLASH.
From the last two minutes that I did catch, it looked like the end of the show forever.
Hulu apparently doesn't show THE FLASH and I don't have On Demand.

Barry Manilow is on tonight's The Tonight Show. I'm recording it, but not watching it...yet.
