Around 5:00 I had a panic attack and could not get back to sleep.  Joshie and I have a week to finish this work for Rob and the 92nd Street Y. This will be tight.

Because of the weather, he and his brother Jeremy were stuck in Florida for hours waiting for their flight to take off.  I am very happy they're home.

Dina Merrill has died at age 93. I saw her in On Your Toes.

I worked with her on a couple of New Amsterdam Theatre Co, shows at Town Hall.  She was charming and classy.  I liked her very much.

Again, great photographic evidence of Old Friends at Factors.

Old Friends at Factors:  A Memoir

I was shocked, shocked, to hear that BK had never been there, especially since the family homestead had been just down the street.  Well, I might never have been to Factors either if it weren't for the fact (see what I did there?) that I, too, lived for one year just two blocks down the street -- on S. Beverly Drive at Cashio where friends had a condo that I was staying in while vacating my previous apartment and joining them on their sailing cruise in the Caribbean for several months.

However, the only food I remember eating in Factors was breakfast or brunch in which, to my knowledge, I only ever had a bagel with lox, cream cheese, and all the trimmings.  God, those were delicious.  But I'm glad to hear the place has survived the years, and especially glad to hear the pastrami is great.  Want!

Woops, I accidentally deleted my post -- the one in which I said:

As to the T.O.D., I probably have nothing to add to the fine lists already posted.  A wonderful era for plays.

I look forward to many fine reports on the progress of Dial 'M'.

Another good night of sleep until...you guessed it...just about 3 a.m.

I did not take a melatonin tablet last night.

What I did, instead, at 2:51 a.m., was to take two Tylenol.

That did the trick, too.  Slept very well until 5:31 a.m.

Thank you.  I grew up going there when it was just a little place and was shocked that Bruce, who was walking distance, never went.  He didn'the go to Nate  'n Al's either when it was the best deli around.

DR Jeanne, I hope you had an easy drive back like Bruce did.  We did not have my traffic either.  We then went for a walk as I definitely operate yesterday.
