I'm not sure, exactly, but Hollie and Michelle assure me they can help set it up. It has something to do with Medicaid and Mom's income being a little too high, which is a joke.

That's when my good humor leaves the room...quickly....and it usually doesn't come back that day......

DR JRand, I'm so sorry if my earlier remarks sounded insensitive. The fact is I find it harder and harder to reconcile younger people dealing with life threats when someone in my mother's condition and circumstances lingers on and on. One of my young friends said, "How is that fair?" My response is, "How is it merciful?"

As enjoyable as the concert was I cannot get home at eleven-thirty and have to answer twenty e-mails, print out orders, and write notes and then have to go right to bed and be up early again. Thank goodness tomorrow night I'm home after five and same with Sunday night and Monday I'm not doing anything other than planning the Kritzerland show.

I bought some of those frozen hamburger patties, with the grill marks, they were not a bad replacement.
