Good morning, DR TCB! We never seem to be online at the same time, so it's nice to see you.

Good morning, DRs Elmore and TCB - it's nice to be here with you both!
And DR FJL!
The Palmer House is most appropriate DR GINNY.
I very much like those round chocolates with the hazelnut in the center of a chocolate ganache surrounded by a thin wafer, coated in chocolate and covered with crushed hazelnuts ... I can't think of the name of them at the moment.
I am sure Jane hates them
Also to be savored and eaten over a period of days, one segment at a time
Raisinets have been a favorite since just about forever. In my early moviegoing days, in the chocolate department it would either be Milk Duds (which I find horrible now) or Raisinets. The last Raisinets I had were a box of the dark chocolate ones back around Christmas. Yum.

I woke up at 5:30. My brain demanded more sleep. My bladder demanded relief. Guess which side won.
DR Ron I am surprised Butterfingers bother your crowns. I only have them anymore if I can find the small wrapped ones. I usually find them in baskets at businesses that leave treats out of mixed candy.
Back in 2001, I co-wrote a movie for Roger Corman, RAPTOR, which was directed by Jim Wynorski, a delightful fellow who specialized in directing movies that utilized previously shot action footage.
In the case of RAPTOR, we used dinosaur footage from three CARNOSAUR movies that Corman had made previously. We even brought in a couple of actors who had been dinosaur food in those CARNOSAUR films to shoot additional scenes.
What can I tell you? A paycheck is a paycheck.
Interestingly, the score for RAPTOR is credited to Oscar-winner James Horner (TITANIC). I'm not sure what earlier Corman film that was taken from.
Also of interest: When I do an autograph show, I get a lot of people who ask me to sign their DVDs of RAPTOR.
Have any DRS seen this?

I once had a crown pop off while I was opening my mouth to "unstick" my teeth. Am always mindful of that.
I don't go out of my way to get candy although I will eat anything chocolate that happens to fall in my path
From Yesterday
FJL posted the NY Times article how midtown has gotten back to normal now that all the Trumps are at the White House.
The article failed to mention what will happen once he's out of the WH. He has Secret service protection for the rest of his life as does his wife and the kid up to a certain age. So if he moves back to the tower the same problem will occur all over again.
I woke up at 5:30. My brain demanded more sleep. My bladder demanded relief. Guess which side won.

Butterfinger (still love these, too, but my crowns aren't very happy with them)

Damn! That's a long performance!!!
I forgot about HEATH BARS!!!!
That said, I have 36 days until my retirement!
Being good, not watching QVC!!!
If we say Vancouver, Washington people mostly hear BC. If we say Washington State they hear D.C. It is rather frustrating ;D

Wait till you've had to deal with that for 40 years!
;)
Hello from the 20th floor of Chicago's Palmer House! We upgraded to get a larger room with a view and vouchers for 10 free drinks in the hotel's venues. We have a corner room with 2 windows. From one we can see the marquee for HAMILTON, which we're seeing Saturday evening. From the other, if you stand at one end, we can see Lake Michigan.
I, for one, am quite anxious to hear the answer to former DR Sandra's question
I forgot about HEATH BARS!!!!
These are delicious crumbled into Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream.

I have a friend with an ice cream parlor who makes coffee Heath ice cream. It's an addiction.

;D You only have to deal with the D.C. portion, we get the rest of it. Almost, not that I mention we live in Clark County.
