George, thank you for capturing my milestone; although I am not sure all those 6's are a good omen.

Also, if anyone is interested in my lyrics to the two High Time tunes I'm happy to print them.
Monday morning greetings! Well, apparently I forgot to log out - again. Sorry...

I don't watch TV. And the only show I pay attention to anymore is A Place to Call Home.
Wonderful notes, including the fine Putin groaners on the notes. And wonderful lyrics on page 1!
Did you tell your doctor about the elevator situation, Elmore? That might be the cause of your high blood pressure.
I know it would be for me.
Vibes for Poe and ChasSmith.

Here's High Time. This is from the main title tune, which you can hear on You Tube.
High Time
When all your worries and woes surround you
And grind up and ground you
Don’t sit and stare and seethe
Just take a breath and breathe
When all your troubles and cares just blind you
Then put them behind you
It’s high time that you did, so don’t delay
When you’re mood’s goin’ down
Pick it up, and then go and paint the town
And then when life starts cramping your style
You just say, “Sorry, I can’t be bothered”
And you simply start to smile
And then you don’t let it all defeat you
‘Cause it’s time to treat you
To all life has to give, it’s high time that you live
It’s time to wake up and start ignoring
The humdrum and boring
So grab life by the throat
High time that you’re a winner
And so be a winner today
When your sun doesn’t shine
You can shine, and the sun might take the hint
And if the bad just turns into worse
Just say, “I’ve had it with bad”
And put the whole megillah in reverse
And then you don’t let it all defeat you
‘Cause it’s time to treat you
To all life has to give, it’s high time that you live
It’s time to wake up and start ignoring
The humdrum and boring
So grab life by the throat
High time that you’re a winner
And so be a winner today.
I wouldn't mind seeing The Handmaid's Tale. Loved the book.
George I didn't know you watched GoT I thought I was the only one

I just dropped our beloved black cat Poe off at the vet because he'd been intermittently having trouble in the pissoir department over the weekend, and that can become a life-threatening situation if it goes to total blockage. It's likely either crystals in the urine, which is a dietary issue, (and that would be complicated because he's already on a renal diet) or a bladder infection, the preferred diagnosis because that just requires antibiotics. The doc is busy in surgery this morning, but he's being monitored till she can see him this afternoon.

I'm back to BBC mysteries. I cannot get enough of Vera, Midsomer Murders, or Grantchester.

We've talked about it before, but where is the director of Mr. Tveit? Is there any director? Closing your eyes like that when you sing is the most selfish thing you can do as a performer - it's not about the character it's about YOU excluding the audience. Terrible.

Right. You weren't showing up as "here" during those times, DR Ginny.
And I don't log off either, I just close the tab or the whole browser when I'm done, and trust that I'm gone.
DR Ginny, I am having coffee on Wednesday with Jim Martin's daughter Ella.

OK, I'll stop worrying about looking like I'm sitting here like so much fish, not participating...

Occasionally. I don't like the program without Lady Felicia and Sid.
Good evening.
This is what Sid has been up to.

It's just major hard to find a job at my age....
. I've sent out well over a hundred resumes on Monster, Indeed and other job boards as well as sign up with 3 job agencies. So far, no luck. Disability may be the only way I can go.It's just major hard to find a job at my age....
I was about the age you are now when I retired and saw that pretty quickly.
I also was approached to be someone's mistress. Yep, your read that one right. Claimed he had a sick wife but he needed a woman to "hold" and because I had posted about my Mom, he thought I would understand what it was to have to take care of someone and not leave them. I declined.
Anyway, it can be a fun hobby if you don't get or take it to serious for the most part. I confess, the court is still out on David. Hard not to like someone who sends you a poem every morning.
Top of the evening all! I was going to change my profile picture but I couldn't figure out how. I guess your stuck with that old, well, ahem, younger photo of myself. :)
I lost my job of 17 years with the county due to age discrimination.
I am currently unemployed and searching for work.
There are five of us who all are in various stages of unemployment. All ladies of a certain age, near retirement.
Dang, still on page 4? Ok. We also have a lawyer.
