Hi, Danise!  Sorry to hear about the job loss...

Anyway, it can be a fun hobby if you don't get or take it to serious for the most part.  I confess, the court is still out on David.  Hard not to like someone who sends you a poem every morning.

Thanks, DR Ginny.  Three years from retirement.  If it was just me that would be one thing but five of us.  All of sudden we can't do our jobs?  What they didn't count on was us banding together and seeing a lawyer as a class action suit.  Our lawyer said we are smart and have a very good case.

It's just major hard to find a job at my age.  I am considering putting in for disability.  At least I would have an income.

Of course as with any court action, it could take forever to get settled.

I was about the age you are now when I retired and saw that pretty quickly.

You can change your settings to block people from seeing your posts, you know. You can also change your settings to "friends only" so non-friends can't see what you post if your friends "like" something.

. I've sent out well over a hundred resumes on Monster, Indeed and other job boards as well as sign up with 3 job agencies.  So far, no luck.  Disability may be the only way I can go.

I know.  We think it was planned.  They kept talking in meetings about how the younger groups don't stay at a job for many years and bla bla.  That's ok.  One thing we do know-the County doesn't go to court because of the costs.  They prefer to settle out of court so we will see what happens.

I also was approached to be someone's mistress.  Yep, your read that one right.  Claimed he had a sick wife but he needed a woman to "hold" and because I had posted about my Mom, he thought I would understand what it was to have to take care of someone and not leave them.  I declined.

;D  Oh my.

We seem to watch only new shows to us, meaning they have been on at least one season.  Tonight we are going to watch the first episode of "The Expanse" which has begun its 3rd season.

I was thinking the other day how much I'd like to have a dog or cat again. Then I thought about buying a robotic dog. I hear that comfort animals are quite popular in Japan.

Take a look:

I couldn't look at Larry's potential adoptees. The thought of all those lovely cats being put to sleep is too disturbing. Hope you find one, Larry. I wish I could have one.

Top of the evening all!  I was going to change my profile picture but I couldn't figure out how.  I guess your stuck with that old, well, ahem, younger photo of myself. :)

Hello, Danise!  Welcome back!
