I came here last night with intentions of catching up and posting but instead fell asleep over my iPad
Today is the birthday of the late Anna Kashfi.
As I related in my 2nd memoir, LIFE, LIBERTY & THE PURSUIT OF HOLLYWOOD:
"One afternoon in the late 1960s, the owner of an upscale coffee shop in Brentwood asked me to come by and talk to him about my possibly publicizing his restaurant.
"When I got there, he was busy with another matter, so he introduced me to one of his favorite customers, and she
invited me to sit with her and her son until he was free.
"The lady was actress Anna Kashfi, who had played prominent roles in films like THE MOUNTAIN with Spencer Tracy and BATTLE HYMN with Rock Hudson, but was certainly best known as being the first wife of Marlon Brando, and the mother of his son, Christian.
"I spent perhaps fifteen or twenty minutes chatting with the pleasant Ms. Kashfi about this and that. My impression of Christian, who appeared to be about eleven at the time, was that he was a quiet, well-mannered young man.
"In 1990, this same quiet, well-mannered young man shot and killed his half-sister’s boy friend in his father’s Los Angeles home. He pled guilty to manslaughter, and served five years in prison.
"One never knows what the future holds."

Jule Styne was a former publicity client.
I did his Oscar campaign for "Best Song" for FUNNY GIRL.
We got the nomination, but not the award.
I hope that DR ChasSmith can drive in soon and cart away a few million things I want to dump.
Once again I have lost track of what days these are.
I don't care what the calendar said, yesterday was a Saturday. Today is, too, of course, even though it doesn't yet feel convincing.
DR Vixmom, I'm worn out just reading about your morning so far.
I must say the since ICon parking and QuikPark have merged the prices have gone up considerably
Speaking of our DR ChasSmith, I look forward to his latest I DO I DO! stories.

Are you already ready for that? Has Josh taken everything he can take? It looks like I'll be free to do it on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, if that should happen to be good for you.
I am home with my new child, the beautiful one year-old Annabelle. She loved me at the adoption center, she was wonderful all the way home in the carrier, and now she's hiding under my bed.
I still think ELmore should have a DVD sale

This week's news: Last night's audience should have been taken out back, en masse, and shot. Worst ever. As in deadest ever. Fridays do tend to be the sleepy ones up here. I've never figured out why.
Congrats to JohnG on the 38,000 millstone!

And she's chatty.
We went to see mother! I found it trite, funny and well acted. My friends loathed it. I wouldn't recommend it.
After we finished with the garden thing, Wae-Ling and I stopped by a new fried chicken place that just opened. Tomorrow I will walk 20,000 steps.
What does Annabelle look like? Was that her name at K9Kastle? I couldn't find her there. They must have taken her photo down already.
elmore had a pussycat.

She's mostly gray striped, but her tail is mostly black. She has large green eyes.
DR GINNY - Vanities can be a slog if the director is a pill......
This of course was effortless and quick Since as you all well know New York drivers (including the myriad cabs and busses and trucks) ar well known as being the epitome of courteous and thoughtful drivers
You will be proud to learn that despite severe provocation I did not run over a single pedestrian . And there were several who were just begging to be runover
Dinner was marvelous, the conversation sparkling and Liam the corgie was sweet and cute as could be
Former DR Jose was also in town and snagged us 2 wonderful center front mezzanine tickets on one of his phone apps
The trip home was uneventful ...
Back from seeing "American Made." Not a specific fan of Tom Cruise's, but he was good in this. It's inspired by true events.
Well, this is interesting. I did a quick search to see if there was anything on how accurate "American Made" is, and I found THIS (http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2017/09/29/what_s_fact_and_what_s_fiction_in_american_made.html) article.

For some reason I can't open that link on my iPad, so I will have to check it out tomorrow.
