I didn't last too long in REDS last night. I guess I'm just not interested in hearing a man yell for two hours.
Both of the performances were surprisingly mediocre. I guess the play is okay - I can't say since I didn't watch it all - but for me the characters weren't connecting or even really responding to each other - just saying lines.....
Michigan/Michigan State today at noon - glad I'm not on a heart monitor today (for many reasons...) - Go, Blue!
It is my niece's 50th birthday!! How is that possible?
It was only yesterday (or thereabouts) that I came rushing back from college to meet my newborn niece.
I brought her a stuffed Saint Bernard with a barrel around its neck. Her first stuffed animal.
It had become something of a joke. When my sister was around six months pregnant, her Saint Bernard (Brandy) had given birth to 14 puppies.

Sweet.
It is shower time.
I located the DVD of "The Man Who Came To dinner" so we'll watch that tonight.
I made candy cane pie earlier today. It needs to sit for eight hours. But the preview from licking the pan was pretty darn good.
It is quiet here. Is everyone out enjoying themselves?

We’ve just returned from taking Rob and Mary Linda and her parents out for dinner. They’re here from Michigan helping the kids get the house ready to list. We’re pretty useless in that department, but we can at least buy them dinner. That’s my big outing for the weekend.
I have a question for Ginny,
Dear Dear Reader Ginny,
I thought you were from Ohio. Why are you "Go Blue!"?

Ginny went to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Also, she grew up in the Detroit area-correct Ginny?

Not too sweet?
We just watched an excellent 2019 film, THE FAREWELL, based on a true lie/story.
Finished with my viewing - Rocketman - enjoyable but weird in certain ways. The Elton John actor is very good. On Wikipedia someone actually states that this is the first film from a major studio to feature a gay sex scene. And they justify this claim by saying Brokeback Mountain and Call Me By Your Name weren't from major studios - this seems rather stupid to me.
No outtakes on screeners.

I liked it. And no, not too sweet. I didn't put any sugar in the whipped cream.

I really want to see that.
I would hope that TCB will be with us tonight.
And George, I believe, is ushering for something about a dead dog.

Yes, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time...and it was very good!
I thought that I knew only a couple of people in the cast, but I knew five people!

Anybody I know in the show?

I don't know who you know. Shannon Olivia Agostinelli plays the lead's mother.
W. Scott Pinkston was in Calendar Girls at TLT.
