DR Ginny, tell Richard I hope his mass broadcast goes well.
I had never heard of BITE THE BULLET until that Twilight Time release - which was one of their earliest, as I recall. I watched it right away and enjoyed it. About all I remember of it now is the bullet. And the biting thereof.
I’m very lazy today.

To Everyone!!
Easter is my least favorite holiday in the Christian calendar, I've never understood any of the mythology behind it beyond the incorporation of pagan spring rituals. I at least understand the mythology behind Christmas and Saturnalia.
I guess that's something.
I do miss my Mother's Easter dinner. When she wasn't crazy, she was a good cook.
Easter Sunday greetings!DR Ginny, tell Richard I hope his mass broadcast goes well.
Thank you, DR Elmore! He refers me to his “director,” because I help him with the set-up and visuals.
Mass Broadcasting Vibes for Fr. RICHARD & DR GINNY!

Mass Broadcasting Vibes for Fr. RICHARD & DR GINNY!
Thanks, DR JRand! It all went well. There’s a photo on my Facebook page, but I got the “too large” message when I tried to post it here. If someone can fix that and post here I’d appreciate it.
Mom turned 93 yesterday. She had a quiet day, I sent flowers the day before and her caretaker made her an angel food cake with I think they call it 7 minute frosting. It's sort of like marshmallows. it's her favorite and she loves lots of frosting. My brother got her pan fried chicken from this place at the lake she loves and today they will bring her dinner. She's happy

So, when they do an Easter service via Zoom or however they're doing it - can everyone see each other or is it just the service itself?

Over the course of this week pou choirmaster videoed via zoom and made recordings of our children's choir, bill choir, brass choi. Bell choir and adult choir
Just our two pastors were at the church and they took turns running the camera and conducting the service
They printed them out on 8x10 paper and taped them to our pews
She went to urgent care where they tested her for flu, which test came back negative
But they didn't test her for this corona virus
I guess I'll find out Tuesday if I still have a job
HAPPY EASTER!!! I woke this morning to thunder snow
DR Vixmom were you near this woman or touch where she touched?Stayed well away from her and I wear gloves in the office...

Time for a little Hitchcock. Tonight is North by Northwest.

We did a spoof of that in law school. It even had a Crop-duster video game that consumed a third of the budget, but it got a mention in the Crimson (the undergraduate paper):
https://www.thecrimson.com/article/1983/3/10/legal-ease-pbwbhile-reporters-from-society/
"Even the special effects are respectable. In the movie North by Northwest, Cary Grant was chased across a cornfield by a cropduster. In the law school parody, Thornbook plays a video game called "Cropduster" which seizes his leg and starts to spit out real bullets that convincingly explode against a wooden backdrop."
I didn't work on the Cropduster, but I did co-write the production number which had as its one dramatic purpose, to distract the audience from the Cropduster being set up.

I like that you could send her flowers and there was someone to receive them for your mother. I thought of sending our daughter in-law flowers for her first Mother's Day. If Bryan isn't there she would have to leave the baby to go down stairs & outside to get them. I'll pass.
Happy birthday to Cillaliz's mom.
HAPPY EASTER!!! I woke this morning to thunder snow
One of the worst blizzards I’ve ever experienced started with thunder snow...
And now, I'm off to bed to not dream about wooden chicken cat tree gym things. ;)
Have a good day, all!

He also posted a selfie in his PPE. I guess that's the thing to do these days, or at least that's what his post says. I hope he's keeping his spirits up as what he's doing is thankless.

No not thankless. He and others like him have the deepest gratitude of New Yorkers
The Abner links I posted will go away at some point soon, so if you're not interested do let me know and I'll remove them sooner than later.
I just finished writing another 2 pages of my new play.

To me it is chocolate bunnies. Growing up we never did much for Easter. My parents got us a treat, if they thought about it. For our boys I did nice Easter baskets filled with little toys I spent months collecting. Also included was some candy. A carrot was left out for the Easter bunny.
Because of the pets I never did Easter egg hunts in the house. They did get invited to a few of those elsewhere.
Zoom Easter Mass at DR GINNY & Fr Richard's house.

Finished with the group thing - it was fun in its way. I spoke, I answered questions for about ninety minutes. Now I must eat. None of the Door Dash places I was interested in are open today. So, I have stuff here or I can do to McDonald's which isn't thrilling-sounding to me.
Did anyone receive their stimulus payment? Some were sent yesterday......and more will be sent out this week to those with Direct Deposit.

I find this far more moving than those idiots preachers who opened told their congregations to go to church.
Mega vibes we all, and our loved ones, stay well!
Back from a short drive. Drove by a Burger King - about ten police vehicles there, lights blinking - since it's only open for takeout one wonders what's going on there.

They do it contactless, so they set them down at your door, call you and wait until you pick them up outside your door. Mom is perfectly fine to go to the door get the phone etc, she just doesn't answer the phone if she doesn't feel like it, so I had to make sure Krista would be there

9,385 died here so far...
188,695 confirmed cases. But considering how many remain untested...

DR George I would like to see a video of the chickens playing on their chicken tree.
Well, it didn't take long for us all to smell melting plastic and THEN my mom remembered where she put my Easter basket...IN THE OVEN! And it wasn't actually a basket, it was a big plastic bowl filled with plastic Easter grass and chocolate eggs! It was all melting! :o FORTUNATELY, the whole bowl didn't melt, just some of the edges, but the plastic grass didn't survive. I think the chocolate was okay after it cooled down and re-solidified. ;)

I'll as my niece to film something, if they do. After I put it together and we moved it into their back yard, the chickens just walked right around it. I think my niece will have to put them on the thing so that they know that it's for them. ;)
My shoulder is telling me to say goodnight.
I guess I'll find out Tuesday if I still have a job
Finally, here's I'm Past My Prime.

So...I was just on www.Playbill.com watching the one-minute preview of the filmed Broadway production of Bandstand that's available now to stream for three days for $6.99 as a fund raiser (https://www.playbill.com/article/playbill-will-stream-broadways-bandstand-musical-film-starring-laura-osnes-and-corey-cott) until April 17. I LOVE this show! I saw when it was shown in the theaters as a Fathom Event.
Stay positive.
