PILLOW TALK was shown at the lovely Bedford Playhouse last year, and what a pleasure it was to watch it on a big screen with... with... oh hell, what was that thing called?
Oh, I remember. An audience!
Happy birthday Jennifer!
We're up to 491 cases in my county (not including the county across the river that has been growing even faster than us, even though they only have a population of 20,000 people) It's expected to just keep rising as they refuse to close down the packing plants here so they can try to keep the food chain moving. If you like meat, I'd suggest you buy it up - processing has slowed in the plants here and stopped in other parts of the state. There is no question that prices will rise. They are keeping plants open even though the disease is spreading like crazy because if there are no processors then the farmers raising the hogs will have to start euthanizing them. The plants process something like 40,000 head a day, so it's a problem. I guess the decision was made that the people working there don't matter as much as the food chain.

Why can’t they just keep the pigs alive until the plants can reopen?
Vibes, Cillaliz.
Vibes for CRAIG.
Happy Birthday Jennifer!

Laundry is in the washer.
A good breakfast has been eaten.
And I have just declared today to be Clean the Desk ATPTSI (and the piles that surround it) Day.
I'll just let this speak for itself.

Today is the golden anniversary of Company's opening.

I would think it's the cost of keep them fed until they're slaughtered.

Apparently there is an ideal weight and after that they lose money for each so many pounds they gain. Plus it's a system, they have some ready to give birth, some gaining weight and some on their way to market. if you stop the ones leaving the others will just keep coming and they don't have the facilities for it. I was pretty shocked when I read that, but it's about the same as dumping all the milk that couldn't be processed when part of the country couldn't get milk
I'm feeling very sad today. I was really hoping to go back to my office next week, but that's not going to happen with this being a new hot spot. I've got work to do I don't feel like doing, it's been 4 days since my Facebook timeline worked right and not a peep from customer service, and I just got in an argument with a neighbor - from a distance, he thinks this is pretty much blown out of proportion and "I'm a newsman so I know the real facts" yeah right. Last night I wanted to go to the office to just sit for a bit and the elevator wouldn't work with my fob, so I finally called the right person who activated it remotely. I must have disturbed him because he turned it back off once I got to the 6th floor. Not that big a deal yesterday as I wasn't carrying a ton of stuff and I could take the stairs down, but it was still pretty rude.
So, I think I'll just get off the computer, or start working on the next brief that's due ....or go eat the last frosted roll that's sitting on the kitchen counter
Sam Antonio/Bexar County has had 1,195 confirmed cases of COVID-19 to date and 43 deaths.
Vibes, Cillaliz.
Ditto!
Vibes for CRAIG.
15.012 cases in Indiana - 813 deaths - 131 cases in my county & 4 deaths.
We’re going to watch the Sondheim thing in a couple of hours.
It’s going to be nice to have the Kritzerland show next Sunday.
This made me laugh. I would love a French bulldog.

The Zoom baby shower was fun and it was so-o-o-o good to see family and friends. There was a nice mix of Mary Linda’s family and Rob’s and 7 states were represented. There’s a photo on my Facebook page.

The eternal scroll is now saying it's starting at 8:30/7:30
It's strange. I don't get the YouTube scroll on my Kindle, but I get it on my phone and laptop.

(Your Vixmom keyboard kicked in there for a second.)
Brian Stokes Mitchell singing "The Flag Song," a song cut from Assassins.
And a band was playing Merrily? Wonder who paid for THAT because we all know how the AFM works. Obviously that wasn't live. Then again, we won't have 100,000 people watching us.

Linda Lavin is going to sing "The Boy From..."!
Gee, I wonder who introduced Judy Kuhn to What Can You Lose? Hmmm, let me put on my thinking cap.
Alexander Gemignani singing "Buddy's Blues."
Brian Stokes Mitchell singing "The Flag Song," a song cut from Assassins.
Great song for our times.
I enjoyed most of that. Surprising the shows they did and didn't pick songs from. Nothing from Forum, only a cut song from Assassins, nothing from Road Show/Bounce, and because it was the 50th anniversary of Company, only one song from that show, the previously cut Happy Ever After. And, no surprise, no songs from The Frogs.
DR Priscilla I am having a different problem with Facebook. My timeline keeps bouncing around & I can't always complete a comment.
Dang, forgot about Sondheim

Thanks George! Do you know how long it will be up?
My neighbor sent me an apology text and we both vented about being recluses. He's 84 and lives alone with his corgie, Pippa. He does a nostalgia radio show every Saturday on a local radio station, which is a lot of fun. Anyway, we went back and forth and discovered we actually agree and are just really stressed about the same things. Finally he texted "go look out Ricky's window" and he was out on the street walking Pippa. We said hello and everything is fine
So thanks for all the vibes, I'm sure that's what did the trick...my "talk" with Don helped too. When I left the window he was out talking to a neighbor, so I think it did him good too
Of course if we were still in our country home we wouldn't have to deal with the rude people that don't properly social distance ;D;D
Night, I have a go to meeting plea and sentencing hearing in the morning. I better get some sleep
