George, I have never heard that other song you mentioned last night. Just sayin’.
I recorded Make the Most of Your Music for The Stephen Sondheim Album - the opening cut with Brent Barrett. We've done it several times at Kritzerland. And I put it in the Lost and Unsung revue.

And that your mouth doesn’t hurt
John, Ginny, any DR, do you have opinions to share regarding The Vanishing Half? I will be discussing it on Monday with my book group.
DR Jane, here they are only doing the second shot 3-4 months later. So nobody has received their second shot yet. But they give you an appointment automatically. Mine is the beginning of August.
I only read the side effects a few hours after I came home yesterday. As I didn't want to be a hypochondriac. But I had all the symptoms that over 50% experience. Headachy. A lot of fatigue. And it's a bit sore on the spot but not much. My brother-in-law had his vaccine the day before me and he has been feeling the same symptoms.

It's been a while since I read it. But there are lots of discussion questions online.

I had to throw away a batch of pate e choux because the church alarm went off and I had to go investigate.
Yes, I hated to throw away the pate a choux.
DR George, it's my understanding that after the London production, that version of Follies was pulled and not available for performances.
In 1983 or so, I was talking to Steve and he said he was busy with new songs for the London version of Follies. After a pause, I said something like, Why? I think that score's mighty good as it is. Steve's answer was, Me, too. Then he explained that it was Goldman's idea to rethink it, and he felt obligated to go along with it.

I thought Make the Most of Your Music and Ah, but Underneath were written because Daniel Massey and Diana Rigg couldn’t handle the original songs vocally.
The Academy Awards are tomorrow, I think. I haven't seen nary a one.

It's been a pleasant Saturday. I did two (count 'em) short but worthy stints of work outdoors, just enough to squelch the guilt for not doing more.
Then I ate a free Popeye's chicken meal. And why was it free, I hear you asking? It was free because when Nathan was out he went through the drive-thru just to grab a fish sandwich for himself, and the girl handed him a bag with a large box of chicken in it. He pointed out the mistake and she got him the sandwich, and when he started to hand the box of chicken to her, she said "no, I can't take anything back, it's yours, enjoy". So we all enjoyed. Big box, too, at least a dozen pieces.
Moving right along...

That might make sense for Diana Rigg, but I think "Make the Most of Your Music" is a pretty darned difficult song...especially that held last note, and Daniel Massey nailed it!
Went to the first party with friends I've attended in more than a year. A friend who used to work for USAA was having a crawfish boil. And man, did they throw a party. He boiled the crawfish, she kept things going with the guests. I was there for more than 6 hours. And I had a great time. I got to see people I haven't seen, except on Zoom meetings, for 13 months or so.
And the crawfish were delicious.
While I was there, though, I did get a message from Carol that she had to head back to the hospital. She had a fever and her incision was bleeding. I haven't heard any updates.
