Well, you've read the notes, the notes were boosterized, and now it is time for you to post until the boosterized cows come home - they're all fully vaccinated because heaven knows they don't want to get Cowvid.
-
And the word of the day is: BELLWETHER!
-
Wasn't late in renewing - it's auto pay and THEY took the money seven days before my new yearly period begins. If they can take the money early I think they could have bent their rules a bit, but no - so, they lost a long time member.
I hope you will send an email to the powers that be.
-
Last night, Tom asked, "How many versions [of Annie] does that make?"
After the stage version, I count four...the original 1982 movie, the 1999 TV version with Audra McDonald and Victor Garber, the 2014 remake feature film with Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, and then this new live TV version.
-
So, I get some e-mail from CVS saying my appointment was cancelled - this came an hour after I was there and got the shot. So, I went to the site where you vaccinations are online and the booster wasn't listed - it IS on the card I brought in. So, I called and got the lady on the phone who gave me the shot - apparently, when you check in there's a machine they enter your information in - she couldn't find it because it wasn't where it should be and if she doesn't use that then their system assumes you didn't show up and cancels. I told her I really wanted it on line so I could get a new bar code thing for the phone. She's alone there, and they're busy, so she'll look for it later and she promised me she'd take care of it. I have her name. She said she'll make a new appointment, then just fill in the information that I had the shot - that's how the CA gov site gets the information.
-
I wish things worked as they're supposed to - it's just really annoying.
-
Tonight, I'm going to go see Tacoma Little Theatre's production of Clue (https://www.tacomalittletheatre.com/blog/20212022/clue). Tom mentioned that he was going, and then I realized that I could go see it, too, so I shall. I'm sure that Tom and I will see each other!
-
It turns out that Olympia Little Theatre (http://www.olympialittletheater.org/shows/clueonstage/) will also be doing Clue at the end of January. They had auditions this past Monday and Tuesday. I thought about auditioning, but it's still been a little too hectic at work for me to (potentially) concentrate on learning lines, so I decided not to audition. I definitely will go see it, though!
-
It's interesting. In Tacoma Little Theatre's artwork for their production, they don't specify a single author. They show the billing as:
Based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn
Additional Material by Hunter Foster, Sandy Rustin and Eric Price
Based on the Paramount Pictures Motion Picture
Based on the Hasbro board game CLUE
Olympia Little Theatre's artwork just says, "by Sandy Ruston." I wonder if they're different scripts, or if OLT didn't read their contract regarding required billing. ::)
-
I'll definitely have a report when I get home, as probably will Tom. :) But first, to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, friends!
-
It's the dawn of a new day!
-
Peekaboo!
-
Good morning, all!
-
DR singdaw, boy, are Harry and Bella cuties!
-
It was, for once, a really really really good night of sleep. Annabelle on my right, Stella on my left, and Thatch on my feet. I added the comforter to the bed and there were no drafts sneaking in to chill my feet.
-
It's been over 42 yeas since I had a car, but I'm confused, BK. If your new AAA membership had not yet kicked in and the old one was still valid, why were you charged $90?
-
Today I will sit down with my finished chart and look over it, dot the i's and cross the t's. I want to check over the brass since I think I brought them in too early. I would like to scan it on Friday and email it to England.
-
Four years ago today I attended a cat-kitten adoption event at the 92nd Street & Broadway Petco. I was looking for a little brother for Annabelle, and I had two requirements: he had to be younger than she and he had to have some white in his coat. I checked out all the cats in the back of the store and then walked to the front of the store where they were setting up more cages of cats and there he was: Thatch!
He was three months old, orange and white, a little creamsicle of a kitten, and I was smitten. Cupid's arrow never pierced a heart with more alacrity. Five days later I brought him home. Happy Anniversary, Thatch!
-
Good morning, all.
-
ONE year ago, DR Elmore? :)
Oh, you fixed it!!
-
A very happy Gotcha Day to Thatch!
-
In my memory, I saw STILL OF THE NIGJT at the El Rey. I did recall it being less than thrilling, but no specifics. Sounds like it's even worse than I've remembered.
-
Good morning, all.

Happy Gotcha Day, Thatch!

Thursday morning greetings! It’s frosty in our backyard this morning.
-
Good morning!

And none really good. Don’t know about the new version but the first three were never better than okay.
-
Happy Anniversary to DR elmore and Thatch!
-
It got into the 40s last night.
-
Two!
-
Sorry I didn’t check in here yesterday. We went for our flu shots, then to pick up groceries. I’m involved in 2 paper crafting projects that I want to finish before Thanksgiving, so the rest of the day was spent in my craft corner.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to DC Thatch!!!!!

~~~ULTRA-STRENGTH LITTLE MIRACLES VIBES~~~ for bk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Good morning.
-
My Big Sister scolded me this morning for being too passive about the ceiling. I have made several phone calls to the AC company and several emails to the roofing company. I have gotten nowhere, though.
-
The AC tech is coming to do the pre-paid check for the winter months. I'll see what he says. I will insist that he put in the report that the unit is NOT ready for winter, as the roof still leaks.
-
If I don't hear something from the roofer or the AC company by Monday, I guess the next step is a certified letter to the owner of the AC company along with photos of the ceiling.
-
I am incredibly frustrated about this. I have been so patient.
-
Vibes for Laura. Remarkable patience on your part. I think I’d be bat-s—t crazy by now if I were in your shows.
-
Then again, I’m bat-s—t crazy most of the time.
-
Vibes for DR LAURA in this impossible situation.
-
CAR BATTERY vibes for MR BK.
-
Yes, I forgot to mention that I didn't have a 15 minute waiting period after the booster either!
-
TOD:
Roy Scheider: JAWS
Meryl Streep: SOPHIE'S CHOICE
But I enjoy them both in several things.
-
From Bruce:
Wasn't late in renewing - it's auto pay and THEY took the money seven days before my new yearly period begins. If they can take the money early I think they could have bent their rules a bit, but no - so, they lost a long time member.
That is outrageous. I have never heard of a renewal that doesn't begin from the date you renewed, or the old membership expired.
-
Bruce have you checked was services are included with your car insurance? We have towing and I am not sure what else that includes. I do recall using our insurance to get a battery charged. We haven't had AAA since leaving Michigan.
I agree.
Good vibes it worked and you can get this confirmed.
I heartily agree with your sister.
-
I am incredibly frustrated about this. I have been so patient.
You have and it is a shame they have taken advantage of you. I suggest adding the threat of sending a copy of the letter to the Better Business Bureau.
-
Yes, I forgot to mention that I didn't have a 15 minute waiting period after the booster either!
I am shocked and thought you were supposed to wait. I think I would have anyway.
-
I just read the notes and realized I missed a key bit about why AAA charged a fee for the last service.
"So, I had to call AAA and because I’ve used all my visits, I had to pay"
That explains it and I guess it was legit. I didn't realize there was a limit to the number of times they could be called without an extra fee.
-
MEGA VIBES FOR DR LAURA TODAY!
-
The Better Business Bureau seems to give a good rating as long as you have paid their bill.
The State Registrar of Contractors is where I'll get some action. Maybe.
-
Also, the company that makes the AC unit might be interested to know that one of their contractors treats customers like this.
All That Jazz
Vibes for DR LAURA in this impossible situation.
Ditto!
-
I have been boostered. Boosted? Booted?
-
The tech was appalled. Appalled, I tell you.
-
I was very nice. I realize he is my best ally in this.
-
That must make you feel so much better. /s
Good luck getting a response from the Registrar of Contractors.
Thank goodness for that.
That's so sweet! Happy Gotcha Day Anniversary to Larry and Thatch!!
Then again, I’m bat-s—t crazy most of the time.
I didn't see any bat-s—t craziness when you visited here! I feel left out. :-\
;D
-
Contractor success vibes for DR Laura!
-
I forgot to say this earlier -- look how tiny he is in that picture! :)
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of really good sleep.
-
Before I went to bed, I did get a CVS confirmation of the vaccination, so I guess she found the machine.
-
Nice photo of DR ELMORE & T-HATCH.
-
DR TCB your math was correct yesterday RE: our bill at O'Charley's.
And for some reason as I was leaving the waitress yelled out: "Hey, buddy, you forgot your dime."
-
I want a quokka!
-
Before I went to bed, I did get a CVS confirmation of the vaccination, so I guess she found the machine.
Good.
-
If my iPhone had the ability to update the software I could put a photo of my vaccination card on there. Keith has them on his Google phone app.
-
I went to the government site to get my vaccination bar code - it downloads it right onto the iPhone.
-
Went to Gelson's and got tuna for food and a couple of muffin tops for sweets. Arm is a tiny bit sore, otherwise I feel okay - maybe a little sore.
-
That is cool. Do you have a link to the site? I wonder if we are in there.
I came across this picture in Tumblr. There was no context, just the picture:
I was on vacation.
Bruce, is that retroactive and show all three vaccinations?
-
Sweet photo George.
-
I hope the cat is having better days since the picture was taken. :)
I agree!
My arm is very sore from the shot. Wasn’t like that before.
-
Four!
-
Going to usher for a theater group that’s doing Elf. I like that score.
-
My arm is very sore from the shot. Wasn’t like that before.
Then you were lucky. Did they ask if you had an immediate reaction before and let you leave without waiting 15 minutes?
-
I shouldn't have waited so long to book an appointment with a new eye doctor (switching from optometrist to ophthalmologist). I couldn't get in until mid February.
-
I waited 10 minutes.
Lots of people using up their vision plans before the end of the year.
I already used mine up and was hoping for something in January.
~~~VIBES~~~ for all as needs 'em.

Good night, friends.

~~~VIBES~~~ for all as needs 'em.
I WILL SECOND THAT!
-
Watching The Green Knight, which I almost went to see in the theater this summer. It's not afraid to take its time, which is often good, but occasionally slow. It is beautiful. I find the score somewhat irritating, though.
-
Then I will be off to bed.
-
I think this booster shot has made me sleepy, just like the last one.
-
All three vaccinations show up on the CVS site and the government site.
-
Finished with my viewing.
-
With my viewing I'm finished.
-
I planned the booster thing very well, knowing I had all day today and tomorrow in case I was feeling whatever. I don't really feel much of anything other than a bit of soreness, but I am a bit logy so just doing nothing was the ticket.
-
Hi from intermission! :D
-
Feels like intermission around these here parts.
-
Listening to more Rodzinski.
-
I'm home.
Seriously??
How many here watch TED LASSO?
I don’t know where to find it.
-
Hi, George.
-
It was great seeing you tonight.
-
It was an entertaining evening.
-
The set was incredible.
-
It brought back a lot of wonderful memories.
Notes are written and written are notes.
-
Listening to music.
-
Ready for a hot shower.
-
Within the hour.
-
TLT has always had a turntable built into the stage for as long as I have been at TLT, which is 66 years.
-
I wouldn’t swear to it, but I believe they built it into the stage when they turned the building into a theater.
-
It was used up into the early seventies, when the motor died.
-
It was used a couple of times since then, moved with people power.
-
Hi, George.
Hi, Tom.
It was great seeing you, too!
I agree!
-
The set was incredible.
It definitely was!
-
It brought back a lot of wonderful memories.
For me, too.
-
Back in the early to mid 90s, I was in a local production of Noises Off that had a set with two levels...it was so much fun!
-
When they did CAMELOT, the guy making the stage turn got it moving so fast during the song “Guinevere” that before the song was over, cast members were flying off the stage.
-
Notes are written and written are notes.
Can't wait to read 'em!
-
TLT has always had a turntable built into the stage for as long as I have been at TLT, which is 66 years.
I never knew that. It was so cool!
-
I wish I had a film of that, I probably could have won $100,000 on AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS.
-
When they did CAMELOT, the guy making the stage turn got it moving so fast during the song “Guinevere” that before the song was over, cast members were flying off the stage.
Yikes! :o
-
At the theater, I mentioned to Tom that I saw a local production of either Macbeth (or now that I think about it, more likely Hamlet) that was on a turntable, and a set piece was set incorrectly and when the set turned, there was a crunch!
-
Fortunately, they were able to reset the piece and not much damage was done, so the play went on without much fuss.
-
But back to this evening, I believe George enjoyed the show more than I did.
-
-
But back to this evening, I believe George enjoyed the show more than I did.
I think I did. I didn't love it, but it was pretty good.
-
Other people in the audience seemed to have LOVED it. I didn't get that.
-
The pacing was really good, and the really used the set very effectively...and quite humorously. It practically was another character.
-
I thought it was a well-done production and the cast was good, but I didn’t think it was the second coming of comedy.
-
I thought it was a well-done production and the cast was good, but I didn’t think it was the second coming of comedy.
I really am interested in seeing Olympia Little Theatre's production early next year. I know the director and he's good. I'm assuming that they won't have a turntable built into the theater, but I'm sure that it'll be a good production.
-
And George was correct, some of the audience members were going nuts about every single word that was said.
I mean, even if you love the actors, that was just over the top. ::)
