She and I went shopping at Trader Joe's yesterday for today, and then we put up the tree that she got earlier in the morning. It's a nicely balanced and shaped real tree that wasn't too heavy. I just don't remember when she wanted everyone over. I'll find out soon enough.

This is the procedure that threw the monkey wrench into my healkth insurance over a month ago. I'm happy everything's now cleared up, but I'm still bitter that iy ever happened.

This material was new to us, and as we watched, we had many questions about Jonathan Larson and the original piece. Then I read this extensive interview with director Lin-Manuel Miranda, which answered literally every one of them and more. Recommended reading, but especially after watching the film so you'll know everything he's referring to:

While possibly more emotional it must also be comforting they were close with your uncle.

EVERY production that I've seen here in Olympia had audience participation...carefully controlled audience participation, but definitely expected and enjoyable audience participation.

I think the difference was probably because you saw a matinee. If you had been at a Friday or Saturday night, I am sure there would have been participation.
