And the word of the day is: DAUNTLESS!
-
Gratuitous Post #1!
-
Today, I'm going into work late because at 8:00 this morning, someone is coming to empty all the junk out my garage and haul it all away. My mom found the person and engaged their services as an early Christmas present for me. Once everything is out of my garage, she's also going to pay for me to get a new garage door opener so that I can park my new car in my newly cleared out garage. :)
-
And now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
About 4:00 this morning, I checked the alarm. Stella was working my last nerve, I couldn't get back to sleep, and I realized that I had no idea what day it was. The alarm told me it was Thursday, July 28, and I went back to sleep.
-
According to the news, it's going to be a humid, hot day. I'm happy I do not have to step out. My back is still bothering me, so I prefer to do little as possible.
-
BK, I really hope this project with which you are in discussions comes to pass. I've brought your namne up several times in the past five years.
-
DR Jrand71, that fence looks great!

Great news on the casting, BK.

The fence looks wonderful, JRand. And no need to Tom Sawyer anyone into painting it b

It’s going to be a long day today.

Tonight I usher for Johnny Mathis.
-
Tonight I usher for Johnny Mathis.
Who is he marrying?
-
Good morning to all.
-
I've accomplished all I need to do before the plumber arrives to check out the base of my toilet. It needs new sealer to replace what has worn away. I asked our notoriously bad super to take care of it six months ago.
-
Kitty cleanup is also finished, so I will lie down for a while.
-
Good morning, all.
-
This morning I must do a little banking and some big bill paying. Ugh.
-
Great news about Cindy Williams!
-
And that's such a great picture with Tony Dow and all.
BK -- excuse the brain fart if I'm forgetting, but is that Weekday Heroes available to watch?
-
Good morning
-
I woke up at 6:47 and then remembered I took today off
-
So I went back to sleep and didn’t wake up until 9:06
-
I am now nicely settled in my recliner with a cup of coffee ( with hazelnut creamer)
-
Good news about your casting successes so far BK
-
I’m hoping we can have a east coast HHW reunion at some point when you’re here.
It’s been far too long since I’ve hugged some people I’m very fond of
-
I am heading out on a girls weekend which involves me driving everyone , starting this afternoon, so I will be E&T at least until Monday
-
Elmore has the new super arrived yet?
-
Have the old super and his wife been evicted?
-
Have the package thefts ended?

Have fun on your girls' weekend DR VIXMOM. Remember Ouiser Beaudreaux says it always fun when she and friends dress up like nuns and go bar hoppin'!
-
Thanks for the nice fence comments.....it just reminds me of the plastic fences my sisters had with their Marx dollhouses.
-
CINDY WILLIAMS!!!!
-
Great notes - Mr. Tony Dow was a great favorite with the populace and will continue to be, I suspect.
So MR BK was your cinematographer the Mathers progeny that also appeared in THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY and SUMMER MAGIC?
-
Tonight I usher for Johnny Mathis.
Cool!
-
Johnny Mathis was Annette Funicello's favorite singer when she was a teen - as reported in Walt Disney Magazine.
-
As much as I like the folks involved, I don't think I need a cast album for The Music Man that has the WOKE lyrics.
-
Elmore has the new super arrived yet?
He's in and out of the building till the former super's bitch wife exits the building so he can have the apartment. He's very nice, but English is a second language and he's hard to understand.
-
As much as I like the folks involved, I don't think I need a cast album for The Music Man that has the WOKE lyrics.
I don't need to see it, either!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
Nice fence! Thanks for sharing the photos, DR Jrand71.
-
Wonderful news about Cindy. Also loved the Tony Dow photo. I didn't remember about the documentary.

Oh...I didn't think about that. :P

DR Jrand I enjoyed your photos and your fence looks fantastic.

Have fun.
-
DR TCB I suggest you take a friend with you the next time you go to the pumonologist's office. Sometimes it helps to have a second brain to ask the right questions.
-

Congrats on the casting, BK!

I love Cindy Williams! This is fantastic news.
-
Still no word from Ohio.
-
Mary Alice has died. Always liked her.

Thanks, Jane! I agree!
-
So, my garage is now mostly empty. There are some wooden shelves that are nailed into the walls that need to be removed. They are NOT worth saving. :P
-
And I pretty much need to get a new garage door. :o I don't know if it's because I haven't used it for so long, or if something else happened, but it's very difficult to open and won't really work with any kind of automatic door opener.
-
I love Cindy Williams! This is fantastic news.
Ditto and Ditto!!
-
Mary Alice has died. Always liked her.
Oh, no. I did, too. :(
-
I finally gave in and called our realtor. Thebuyer wants the land but the City of Middletown remains the problem. Hopefully, this will be resolved next week.

Wishing you patience, Elmore.
-
The flooding footage from Kentucky is horrifying.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Good news from BK. First, the very successful Indiegogo campaign, then positive feedback on the screenplay, and now great casting news for the web series. Vibes it continues.
-
Jrand, I'm glad to hear you're happy with your new fence, but please be careful about the POPPING house. IMHO, some things just shouldn't pop. Leave the popping to popcorn. ;)

Long weekend vibes to Vixmom.
-
Good news from George, too. I'm sure you're happy to have a newly-spacious garage.

If Joe Manchin can back down and agree the City of Middletown should, too, right?
Sending resolution vibes.
-
TTFN.
-
Only 800 expected for Johnny Mathis.
-
~~~CONTINUED VIBES~~~ for DR elmore3003!!!
-
DR George, glad that your new car will have a home worthy of it.
-
Do people name their cars anymore??
-
Walking around this beach town in a lovely summer twilight and sad that we'll be having to prepare to say goodbye before too long.
-
Mom is baking a pan of brownies.
-
The wild bunny is out in the yard eating all the fallen trumpet vine blossoms.
-
On my mother's recommendation, have started with book one of Louise Penny's Chief Inspector Gamache murder mystery series, set in Quebec. So far I am enjoying the writing. There are 18 of them to date.
-
Let's get this show on the road.
-
Or the road on the show.
-
Or at least off this darned page.
-
We have fish to fry.
-
FOUR.
-
I could go on and on
-
Like the theme song from Titanic.
-
But no one would want to read such drivel.
-
At least when DR vision posts multiple posts, it's usually an entertaining story.
-
DR vixmom has vision, that is to say.
-
Darn autocorrect.
-
But with, you just get stuff and noonsense.
-
Nonsense and noonsense.
-
But mostly nonsense.
-
But now the brownies are out of the oven.
-
Delighting my nose with sense.
-
Scents sense.
-
If you get my meaning.
-
And I know you do.
-
You do
-
That voodoo
-
That you do
-
So well.
-
Are we there yet?
-
Not nearly.
-
This nearly was mine.
-
Mine. All mine.
-
Not the salt mines, though.
-
Maybe diamonds.
-
They're sparkly.
-
And distracting.
-
So distracting that we've almost
-
Breached the abyss
-
A whole page of nothing
-
At long last, page FIVE.
-
Maybe the usual late night denizens can take us to six.
-
Accompanied by the dulcet tones of Johnny Mathis.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Oh, I'm up - maybe five hours of sleep. Have been answering e-mails and texts, having telephonic calls, then finessing episode eight and sending it where it needed to be sent, picking up mail, ordering a chopped Eyetalian salad from California Pizza Kitchen, ate it, and am about to sit on the couch like so much fish.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
I have been informed that MR BK is sitting on the couch like so much fish.
-
The second act was going along fine until we got to the Benjamin Calypso.....everyone started looking at everyone else - doing moves at the wrong time.....rolling eyes....and standing there....
The stage crew didn't know if it was on foot or riding a bicycle.
I just said what I thought and moved on to the end of the act.
I let them know that my communication skills must be at fault - and that we would have a new version of BC on Monday.....but it was not quite said like that.
Then I sent them home.
-
And now I am home.....and on the drive, I thought of a new way to do the song that should work out much better.
Corrections to the patterns set already would just be putting more lipstick on an already over rouged pig.
-
So we will put a new hog in the chute and see what transpires.
-
Oh and we open two weeks from tonight.
-
I am of course loving the comments about my new fence.
DR JEANNE I shall take your post under advisement. Methinks you are correct.
-
One whole page of DR singdaw - I don't think I seen that before.
-
I have been informed that MR BK is sitting on the couch like so much fish.
I wonder if that fish is "perch"?
-
Is anyone "else" watching this summer's "Big Brother"?
I hadn't watched it in years, except an episode or so to show me how crappy the show had become or how crappy the guests were.
I took that "let's see what this cluster is like" plunge last week and got totally sucked in.
I like a number of the players and hate, loathe and despise others. That's MY kind of Big Brother!!
Am fairly sure MBarnum would be watching were he still here. I messaged him a while back on FB and learned he was taking a break from social media!!! Can't say I blame him, but who can I talk to about this show now?
Ah, me!
-
Mom is baking a pan of brownies.
Me want.
-
Mathis was wonderful, and the audience loved every minute of it. He's 86 and sang more than 90 minutes. With an intermission, the concert was about 2 hours long.
-
He had a 27-piece band backing him up, and they were fun.
-
First half favorites were Chances Are and a Henry Mancini medley that included Charade, Days of Wine and Roses, Two for the Road and then Moon River.
-
In the second half, he did a Kismet medley with a beautiful Stranger in Paradise. Other highlights included a Brazilian medley, Twelfth of Never, Betcha by Golly Wow, You and Me Against the World and Yesterday.
-
But the real thrill of the evening was his version of Misty. I got goosebumps.
-
Good night, all.
-
What are WOKE lyrics?
-
DR TCB I suggest you take a friend with you the next time you go to the pumonologist's office. Sometimes it helps to have a second brain to ask the right questions.
Oh, I won’t be returning to that doctor.
-
Only 800 expected for Johnny Mathis.
That is hard to believe. Did they overprice the tickets?
-
94 degrees in South Hill Puyallup today, and the same for tomorrow.
Thanks, Jeanne! I am!
-
I still have not fired up the A/C.
-
One more post.
-
DR George, glad that your new car will have a home worthy of it.
Thanks, Singdaw. It's still going to need some work, though.
-
PAGE SIX DANCE!!
-
Page six!
-
Do people name their cars anymore??
A friend on FB called mine The Blubaru! I'm going to keep that name! ;D
-
Hi, Tom. I met your cousin and we were able to chat for a little bit...not for too long, though, because we worked on opposite sides of the theater.
-
George, did you go thru all the boxes before they were removed?
-
Oh, my goodness! That sounds like it was a great evening!
-
George, did you go thru all the boxes before they were removed?
Yes. My sister and niece and my sister's boyfriend came over a few weeks ago and we got out everything that I wanted to keep and put it in my storage unit. Everything left was what was taken today, except for the shelves, which I'll need to have taken apart and hauled away later.
-
Hi, Tom. I met your cousin and we were able to chat for a little bit...not for too long, though, because we worked on opposite sides of the theater.
Cool. She is my favorite.
She seemed very nice. :)
I shouldn’t say that. It sounds like I don’t like my other cousins. Merrilee and I are only two years apart. I am actually very fond of Merrilee’s two sisters. I am not close with the other three cousins.
Nothing wrong with that. I have only gotten to know my one cousin who lives in Oregon. I don't really know any of my other cousins. :-\
-
I have five female cousins and one male cousin.
-
I don't remember how many cousins I have.
-
In his younger days, my male cousin was a bodyguard. He worked for Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. I think he was also the bodyguard for Elton John.
