Love it when you share recipes, DR John G. Hope you will continue doing so.
I am home from the notary at my bank and Fed Ex. The realtor in Ohio called me to make sure I wasa on the case, and I assured him it wopuld be in his hands tomorrow. He said the closing was set5 for Sept. 29.

Isn’t that George Gershwin’s birthday?
DR Elmore, that's great news about the property! It's good news that it is hopefully over and done with but horrible in that we've each paid over $25,000 in property taxes for 15 years, and that's about all we'rte making on the sale. So much for the wisdom of two dumbass brothers, my dad's dumbass lawyer, and a misguided move by my father, whose intentions were to give us each around $250,000 and avoid inheritance taxes.
It turns out that velvet toilet paper is actually a brand name:

DR Ginny, where in the Anderson Twp area did y’all eat?
Vibes for DH Richard.
Look, Ma! No cavities!
Thursday afternoon greetings! Sorry to be E & T yesterday. Richard had carpal tunnel surgery on his left hand at a surgery center way down in Anderson Twp, the Cincinnati 'burb where his brother lives. Because no general anesthetic was scheduled, we were able to go out for brunch with said brother and his wife on the way to the afternoon appointment. Surgery went fine, but we were very tired when we got home.
True.

Congrats, BK, on the successful (if not hugely attended) Kritzerland show! :D

Thanks to all for the good thoughts about Birdy Barnum. Much appreciated!

Jane, I can't find any evidence that either film played the La Reina. Meet Frankenstein did play the Studio in July of 1948.
And thanks to DR George for capturing it.
At least 25,000 of those posts probably begin with the word gratuitous or contain malarkey.

Thank you, George. I had no idea. At least 25,000 of those posts probably begin with the word gratuitous or contain malarkey.

Thanks DR JANE it's been too quiet around here today.....I may have to remedy that.
Everyone in this movie smokes. Very dated.
Four hours of sleep - not enough.
Not nearly enough.

What amazes me in some old movies, when they are eating a wonderful dinner, and the guy lights up while his wife is eating.
Bad pain day. I had taken all three pain pills by noon.
As much as I hate it when I am doing it, I really miss learning my lines.
