Well, you've read the notes, the notes were operating on all cylinders, and now it is time for you to post until the operating cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AVUNCULAR!
-
Off to the beach.
-
Have a good day, y’all.
-
TCB, I have another 10 days of vacation. Seems to be slipping away fast.
-
TCB, I have another 10 days of vacation. Seems to be slipping away fast.
Hope you continue to enjoy, John!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
With pizza, cake, and ice cream last night, my blood glucose is off the charts this morning.
-
Today, I should be a good boy.
-
In other news, I have my Halloween costume all sewn up, so to speak.
-
It's super pesado.
-
In case you were wondering.
-
Which I know you were.
-
If a stitch in time saves nine, does a stitch witchery stitch save a cauldron?
-
Good morning, all!
-
We were warned that the temperatures were going to drop, and I warned the cats it weould be cold last night and to stay close to the bed and the blankets. And then the apartment heat ran all night long and it was so warm I ccould not sleep. Usually, the heat is turned off by midnight and by 3:00am it can be terribly cold. Well, not last night.
-
So, todayI must try to turn off the radiator.
-
DR singdaw, I glad you had a nice day, celebration, and safge return trip.
-
After my frustration with my family the other day, there has been no response from the other side.
-
This is a work day. I've almost reached the end of the overture, and I would like to finish it. I need to check my pile of score paper and see if I need more.
-
Kitty cleanup is accomplished, and I would love to lie down for several hours. Instead, I need to make a bed.
-
Good morning!

-
DR singdaw that sounds like a wonderful party.
-
Didn't DR CHAS SMITH say he had a church gig AND a theeder matinee today?
-
Nice day here weather wise!
-
DR Singdaw the birthday party sounds lovely and very special.
-
From TCB:
This was the first time they have made the playoffs since 2001 (21 years)!
Wow, good for them.
-
Today, I should be a good boy.
Stay strong vibes ;)
-
In case you were wondering.
I am still wondering ;D
-
Photo I took of the moon last night with my phone
-
And another
-
I got a lot accomplished yesterday, surprisingly
-
Banking
-
Returned recyclable bottles
-
Bought tickets for maga millions and power ball
-
Ya never know
-
Ya gotta be in it to win it
-
I think I’ve been indoctrinated
-
Went to the car wash where I paid a ridiculously enourmous sum to have my van washed
-
But they hand washed and dried it
-
Vaccummed it out and polished all the windows and mirrors
-
Polished the wheels
-
Polished the dashboard, center console and inside of all 5 doors
-
It took more than an hour all told
-
And the car will be nice and clean for our Florida trek
-
The gas prices have risen about 20cents a gallon in the past week
-
But on my way to the carwash I saw a place that was selling gas for cash for 3.09 so I filled up
-
Beautiful photos, Vixmom.
-
Then I went to church and set up the altar for the Sunday morning service
-
Then I went home and made lunch for Vixdad and myself
-
Then I went to the Aldi and did the shopping
-
Stopped on the way home to take those moon photos
-
From the Kohls parking lot
-
Then I came home and put the groceries away
-
Then Vixdad and I went outside and looked at the moon for a while until we got cold
-
Then I made dinner , hamburgers
-
Then I went home and made lunch for Vixdad and myself
Wow, you did all of that before lunch.
-
Stopped on the way home to take those moon photos
They are beautiful.
-
I was supposed to go into the East Village in NYC last night to see someone I know play in a Fleetwood Mac tribute show but I wasn’t feeling up to it
-
I would expect you to be tired after all you did. Do you still have a sore throat?
-
Continued stay well vibes for everyone.
-
But I discovered they were offering streaming tickets so I bought one of those and was able to watch the show from the comfort of my recliner
-
Snug in my Jammie’s, under a nice soft blanket with a mug of hot tea
-
Oh! I forgot
-
I also got a pedicure between lunch and Aldi’s
-
So a lot accomplished
-
Also went online and arranged to have the mail held
-
And reserved a motel room for the trip down
-
Today I had church.
-
Since the sneezing stopped and the sore throat is gone and I tested negative I served as a communion assistant
-
Then after the service I reset the altar for the next service and went off to deliver communion to four homebound parishioners
-
Then I bought egg sandwiches from the deli
-

Great pictures, Vixmom!
-
Came home and had breakfast with Vixdad
-
Singdaw, that birthday party sounds really lovely
-
Oh! I never Wordled today!

You got there a lot quicker than I, George!
-
I would need a weekend to recover from your Sunday, Vixmom.

DITTO!!
And her Saturday, too.
-
The moon shots are lovely. That is exactly what it looked like for me, too. But as I was driving, I didn't snap a photo. Thankfully, DR vixmom did it for us.
-
And, as DR George may say-
-
Since we're so close...
-
;D
-
So very, very close...
-
Four.
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost twelve hours of much needed and glorious sleep.
-
Those moon photos are amazing, DR vixmom!
-
I came here thinking I'd missed someone's birthday, but maybe I hadn't.
-
I think I have managed to turn off the radiator. It seems cooler in here. I got to the last page of the Overture and spilled water on it, so I need to redo it. I took a dinnewr break, and I will shortly finish it up.
-
That's taking a watermark too far, DR elmore3003.
-

Perfect.
-
We went to a friend's home for brunch today. Then we took her eight year old daughter to Powell's Books to buy her birthday present.
The entire time she was jumping and bouncing around, which also included hugs and hand holding.
-
She knew exactly what she wanted, graphic novels. I had no idea they were popular for younger children. I only recognized one book, A Wrinkle in Time, and I know that didn't begin as a graphic novel ;D
-
When we entered the store she asked if she could get a shenanigans at the checkout when we left. I thought that was a name for a toy or game. Turns out it is her name for little toys.
-
Within 10 minutes she had picked out 3 books. Finding where the shenanigans were took longer since they weren't by the checkout line. She said she is permitted one shenanigan when shopping there. Keith told her for her birthday she could have two, and then we bought her three :)
-
This kid is a hoot. I was amazed at the speed she shopped. When we took her older sister we spent an hour looking at books, and I was familiar with them and Keith with most of them.
-
Dear Freddie - I'll tell you what you missed - my entire visit to NYC, that's what you missed.
-
Good - uh, evening, all!
-
I've been up since 5 a.m. and out all day playing a church service and a matinee, and I've done that on two cups of coffee, a piece of a blueberry coffee cake thing, and a one-bite-size Almond Joy before the show. So guess what? I'm going to change and get comfortable and...eat something. :) Whereupon I will be back to catch up on what's going on today.
-
Finished the overture.
-
That's good, DR elmore3003. I am sure that Thatch helped.
-
That sounds like a lovely outing, DR Jane.
Brings back memories of when visiting my grandparents as a child. They'd take me to the bookstore for a special purchase. Wonderful memories.
-
I would get lost reading and didn't hear any of the conversations going on around me. Until there would be dead silence, and I'd look up from my book, and everyone was staring at me.

What fun special memories. I have no memories of being taken to a book store as a child, only the library.

;D How cute.
-
We're only on page four, but I'm running out of steam.
-
Good night, friends.
-
Sunday evening greetings! It been a very sleepy day for me.
-
I had too much sugar and am running on it.
-
Our friend has a boyfriend from Germany. Today we met his lovely mother who baked an incredible German marzipan tart. I ate way too much.
-
I was going to take an extra long walk this evening to burn off some of the sugar.
-
I did stay out longer without the extra distance.
-
Five dogs we know where out walking and expected me to stop and give them treats.
-
Which of course I had in my pocket for them.
-
Earlier today we saw our upstairs dog.
-
Now I need to restock my dog treat bag ;D

Oh, no! Hopefully it won't (didn't?) take too long!
-

Ooo...my sister LOVES marzipan! I don't know if she's ever had a homemade German marzipan tart, though. I'm pretty sure that my mom has never made something like that.
-
Wow! Jane has reached a celebratory milestone (and a bit more)! ;D
-
I've pretty much had the ME day I wanted, doing only a tiny bit of scheduling work. And slept two more hours from seven to nine. I think another day or two of that will be the ticket.
-
Congratulations, Jane, on your new plateau.
-
Congratulations, Jane!
-
Once again, stalled out for hours. And no George.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
I had a nice, restful day.
-
And I don't care who knows it.
-
New notes are written and ready.
-
Once again, stalled out for hours. And no George.
I'm here...finally.
-
They are also ready and written.
-
Finally, the prodigal George shows up.
-
Was working on my lines.
-
Today was the cue-to-cue and tomorrow we start the run-throughs!
-
Perhaps he can get in a few dozen posts before we change the day.
-
Finally, the prodigal George shows up.
Better late than never. ::)
;)
-
I'm taking tomorrow off from work and my friend Shelly will help me run lines.
-
I pretty much have them memorized, but I don't remember the exact order when some of them are too similar. :-\
-
I hate it when that happens!
-
And in this show, it happens a few times.
-
With as many lines as this role has, you'd think that the author would make sure that there aren't so many that are too similar.
-
Can’t anyone tell me what has happened to Ron? I keep asking, but no one is answering!
-
Well, that's what I think, anyway.
-
;)
