Just catching up… I’m up to the year 2009 now. :)
DR RODZINSKI I have lost track of our mutual friend.....so I don't know what's happening at the moment.
Thanks for all the good vibes. Keith's uncle survived the four hour surgery. Now hopefully his recovery will go well.Great news!
Believe it or not I don’t have that much hair anymore.

The CAKE report!
Devil’s food cake, with layers of vanilla ice cream and chunks of Oreo cookies.
Baskin-Robbins calls it their “Cookies and Cream” cake.
It was quite delish.
Had a piece for breakfast this morning, with a cup of coffee.
Any time is a good time for ice cream cake, I say.
And, yes, I’m aware that it’s only 28 degrees outside.
However, I am indoors, so what care I ?
😊😄
Jane, it might have been from Cold Stone Creamery.
It was already out of the box….a BK reference. 😊
Oh, wait, that was “Outside The Box”.
See what happens when you eat ice cream for breakfast?
Brain freeze!
That was nice of them to give you recycling bags with handles, DR Jane.
Off to have cake for lunch.
Not much left.
😄
Jane…
It was Baskin-Robbins.
Just found the (empty) box.

I do like Baskin-Robbins cakes.
Stay healthy vibes for BK!
Those slippers are so cute, DR Jane!
And nice of you to post them in actual life-size.
Today started out quite cold, but now we've warmed up to zero.
It was 19 degrees when I posted this morning, and 14 now.
By 5:00 am it'll be -5 degrees.

I love cake or pie for breakfast.

Is it ever too cold for ice cream?
Or ice cream cake?
Diabetes talking.
It’s 58 degrees outside. And I’m in here.

Great news! Maybe they, and we, will eventually get to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
DR JANE those slippers are so cute.
In 1965, the London Evening News theater critic reviewed the original production of Joe Orton's Loot, calling it "One of the most revolting things I've ever seen."
It was a revolting development.

Same reaction in NYC. And now it's one of the most brilliant farces ever written

I have a vague memory of seeing a local production, but I'm not sure if I actually saw it or just read about it. ::)
Jane, those slippers are adorable!
I tried to order them for my daughter, but size M is back ordered at the moment.
Almost ordered a cat instead.
Her name is Willow, and she’s on the same website.

They already have 2 cats, so that wouldn’t have gone over well.
But, oh, that Willow is a real cutie.
Do all five get along, DR George?

Only two?? Amateur. ;)
One of my niece's five, count 'em, FIVE cats is named Willa.
Do all five get along, DR George?
For the most part, they do. Bit only one of them comes downstairs when anyone comes to visit, so except for the one that was rescued from under my mom's back deck, the rest are pretty skittish.
The brave one is named Freya. She also tries to get outside EVERY possible chance she can get!
I returned Thistlefoot to the library and checked out a light hearted book in the Aunt Dimity series I enjoy. A new person has just moved into the town, Mrs. Thistle ;D
Got up at one, had a telephonic call first thing, answered e-mails, and then for reasons unknown, I started on page one of the new book, just to make sure I liked the fixes and the changes I'd made and whilst reading I made a few other changes and I haven't stopped since, other than get some food and eating it. It's just nitpicky stuff, and keeping the style very consistent and that's what I'm changing most - words that don't work because a character simply wouldn't say them, that kind of thing and being maniacal about it with this particular book. And I must say, I'm able to see things more clearly reading it and making the changes on the computer. And I'm still finding little typos and things.
Melinda Dillon has passed away :( I thought she was younger than 83.

Well, here we are.
Nineteen (19) degrees out there, with mucho wind, so the chill factor must be brutal. Going to zero (0) overnight.

At least they get along for the most part, too bad about the skittish ones. I gather they are fine with your niece and sister.
Maniacal is good, BK.

I really liked Melinda Dillon in “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”
Ushered for Shen Yun tonight. I’ve seen it too many times.
You can’t make this stuff up. That George Santos be wack.

George, I’m afraid I’ve lost track of time.
Is your callback tomorrow?
Well…
Vibes for DR George’s callback tomorrow!
If it’s tomorrow. 😊
And George is down a rabbit hole.
