Is it ever too cold for ice cream?

Had a piece for breakfast this morning, with a cup of coffee.

Any time is a good time for ice cream cake, I say.

I love cake or pie for breakfast.

And Lunch. And dinner. And a snack any old time.

Thanks for all the good vibes.  Keith's uncle survived the four hour surgery.  Now hopefully his recovery will go well.

Great news!  Maybe they, and we, will eventually get to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Today was a shopping/banking day - and I am not as quick as MR BK.

So I was dawdling.....and all....

And then I put everything away.....and then I sat down to read a book.....

And so it went.

I no longer begin the day with sweets to avoid getting diabetes.  If only I were as good the rest of the day.

DR JANE those slippers are so cute.

Thank you.  And thanks for reminding me to put them back on.  In this weather socks are not warm enough.

In 1965, the London Evening News theater critic reviewed the original production of Joe Orton's Loot, calling it "One of the most revolting things I've ever seen."

But I would not find pie, cake, or ice cream cake a revolting development. Quite the contrary.

Same reaction in NYC. And now it's one of the most brilliant farces ever written

I have a vague memory of seeing a local production, but I'm not sure if I actually saw it or just read about it. ::)

I could have seen it off-Broadway years ago. I think Alec Baldwin was in it. Went to a musical instead. Go figure.
