Well, you've read the notes, the notes have an implanted memory chip, and now it is time for you to post until the memory chipped cows come home.

And the word of the day is: PANOPLY!
-
Good morning, friends.

Think pink!

A pleasant night of uninterrupted sleep with untroubled dreams.

Stage Door Records, which keeps releasing pressings of public domain stuff, releases limited editions of only 100 copies. CD-R only. Weird.

The Worst Fake Beard. A novel of intrigue.

The classical label Hyperion was bought by Universal, and their back catalogue will start to become available via streaming. The first 200 of 2,200 titles starting today.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I don't know if Hyperion;s sale to Universa; is a good thing or not. It's a label I'm quite fond of.
-
I did not sleep well at all. Around 8:00 there was a huge clap of thunder than sent Thatch into hiding for several hours. Neither Annabelle nor Stella had any reaction to it.
-
Poor Thatch! We have had several dogs that could not handle thunder at all. The Thundershirt helped a little, but not enough.
-
We never tried calming supplements.
-
Ballet No. 34 is bothering me; I think I may start it again today.

I wonder if they make CDB supplements for pets.
-
I would like to experience a night of country dancing with DR John G.

Just not in this heat.

Are cowboy hats required?

I've never understood why someone would want to put 10 gallons of liquid into a hat.

But to each their own, right?
-
Right? Of course, right.

DR singdaw that is one scary video.

Heavy thunderstorms are predicted for today.....I hope this cloud cover helps keep the temps down.
-
I am happy to have nothing to do today.....although I may do a few things.
today and tomorrow are ME days.
On Sunday a group of six of us are traveling to Fort Wayne to see a production of SOMETHING ROTTEN.....
-
I remember being intrigued by The Final Cut.
-
Good Friday, Sirrahs! And Jane, and Vixmom, and Jeanne and Iris and, dare we hope, Ginny!
I have arisen from my sleep.
-
Dumb dreams. I found myself sitting in a chair near the organist at my local church. There were folks out in the auditorium, and the preacher and his wife near the pulpit.
It was night time, and the lights were on, and I couldn't quite figure out why I was there and at which point of the service, if there was one, I was viewing.
Three women were in the first pew talking about what they had to do that evening. One made a comment about how first she would be driving Ron home.
I took that comment rather personally, inside my head, and wondered why she would need to drive me home. Why was I not driving one of my two vehicles?
I waited to see if someone was going speak to me, and then I excused myself.
I went outside, and it was very dark. For whatever reason, I started walking myself toward home. It was a long road, it was very dark, and I continued to wonder why I was doing what I was doing.
I then woke up. Never reached the house, but found I wasn't worried about it at all.
-
Another dream was one in which I was "employed" and working in some sort of factory with multiple divisions and buildings.
I knew I wanted to work at one building, was curious about what they did in the division that worked there and asked my supervisor if he knew of any openings in that division.
He replied that they are never any openings there, but that they watch all of us and select who they want. I wondered how they did that.
The next thing I knew, I was asked to report to a room nearby for an interview. I hoped it was because I had asked about openings in the mystery division.
I sat and waited. My thoughts ran wild. I kept getting ideas about how I would answer diverse questions. After an hour, I was told I should return to my work center.
Miffed! Why had I been sent for this so-called interview? And why did it not take place?
Back at work, my co-workers looked at me rather strangely. I guessed it was because they wondered what my absence had been about. Maybe they knew I was not even talked to.
My supervisor came by and said, "You did very well in your interview." I stopped short of denying any such interview took place. He looked at me oddly and said, "What did they ask you?"
I told him that I never met anyone and wasn't interviewed at all.
"That's funny! They said you were the best interviewee in years".
I woke up, and still wonder what the hell!!!
-
I am happy to have nothing to do today.....although I may do a few things.
today and tomorrow are ME days.
On Sunday a group of six of us are traveling to Fort Wayne to see a production of SOMETHING ROTTEN.....
Isn't every day a YOU day? Do you have days that require you to do things not dear to your heart?
-
Heavy thunderstorms are predicted for today.....I hope this cloud cover helps keep the temps down.
Fingers crossed. It is just past 10:30 a.m. here in Johnston, and it's 82 degrees and overcast. Forecast says it's sunny! No rain expected, but the skies seem to be confused over that.

I was rather hoping that the one-sided meat would make another cameo appearance.

-
I was rather hoping that the one-sided meat would make another cameo appearance.
After your bold statement about how you would spend your millions should you win the lottery, I figure the one-sided meat issue was settled.
-
And so it goes...
-
...and here we go again!
-
Page 4
-
Now it is time to do other things
To dance and run and rest for a while
To gather my thoughts and smooth out my wings
And then, perhaps, find reasons to smile.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Ketchuping on various and sundry things this morning.
-
My dream(s) totally dried up and blew away as soon as I awoke this morning.
-
I keep thinking FINAL CUT is software. Well, it is software, but I know nothing about it. I do know it's not what we're talking about here.
I never saw the movie but it sounds intriguing.
The first non-comedy Robin Williams movie I saw was ONE HOUR PHOTO, which I recall thinking was tremendous.
-
Well, here's a how-de-do!
I just went online to decide when to go see the PIPPIN that I'd played the auditions for a couple of months ago...
The one being directed by David Galligan who BK had worked with...
And someone else is listed as the director! I wonder what happened.
-
I have nothing to report for the TOD, though I have a stack of things set out to watch.
-
And in other news, we're going tomorrow night to see THE MUSIC MAN at the outdoor theeder. Several worthy people I know are involved, both in the cast and (small) orchestra. I do expect some of it to be cringe-worthy, but the good parts (and most of the music) will be good and it's a fun night out, eating and drinking and schmoozing on the lawn.
-
I like your rhyme scheme, DR Ron Pulliam.
-
If it's outdoors, DR ChasSmith, perhaps they'll have a REAL footbridge!
Wouldn't that be exciting?
-

DR Singdaw what did you have at the burger restaurant?

I'm up, I'm up - a little over seven hours of sleep.

I hope DR VIXMOM enjoys the show tonight.
-
DR RON PULLIAM you are indeed correct and everyday is a ME day and only I can decide if I want it to be so.
-
DR RON PULLIAM the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that your first dream indicates that while you are still interested in the mysticism of religion, you are rather bored with the presentation of such and wish that things could be presented more realistically or at least more rationally.
Your second dream indicates that you are entering a new learning phase of your life and would welcome new experiences in many areas that have not yet been settled in your existence.

Thanks DR singdaw now I'm hungry.....but I do have eleven drumsticks left.

-
I do believe we could get to page 20 by tonight!
-
If DR vixmom listed the things she would buy with her millions, one per post, that could take up several pages!
-
Oh heck, she'd probably give most of it away to worthy causes.
-
Which isn't a bad thing.

I enjoyed BK's musings about the ability to edit one's life. I'd edit out a whole stretch of my high school years when I was basically what we now call a troll.
-
Last night I was invited by my son's schoolmate's dad to play some pub trivia at a spot in Canada. This place does it with a theme each time, apparently. Many but not all the questions revolve around the theme. Last night's theme was aquatic life. By chance one of my three teammates is a marine biologist. Definitely came in handy. But I answered a few key questions too, and... we won. Just like the good ol' days when I played every week at Mercury Bar on 9th Ave in Hell's Kitchen. A rare adult night out for me.
-
Good Morning.
Sometimes you have to check in where real people say it like it is.
One question (on a NON Ask BK day)
BK - why are you writing a book in July?
-
Good to see you, DR Matthew.
-
BK - why are you writing a book in July?
We are all wondering the same thing! :)
-
Congratulations on your trivia win, DR Rodzinski.
-
Matthew - Two months ago for various reasons that I can't mention yet, I thought about writing a short novella, maybe 125 to 150 pages, to do an idea I'd had a few years ago. I began to feel strongly about it, so I just started writing and sent thirty-two pages to the Muse and she loved it and thought there must be a reason for this and to keep going. It's clear now it's not going to be a novella but a full-fledged novel. I've only done two books in one year once before and that was in addition to whatever that year's book was I did the book of short stories.

Did a quick Gelson's run, got some lox, and then came home and ordered fresh bagels and cream cheese from Western Bagel. I had a 50% off thing from Uber Eats so I compared to Door Dash, who was also having a little promotion. DoorDash would have been twenty bucks for six bagels and a small cream cheese, and no slicing for the bagel. UberEats was two dollars more, but I got a large cream cheese and sliced for the bagels, so I went with that, naturally.

Since living in Michigan we have not used a food delivery service. Back then there was only one, and at the time it was a new concept. We would order from the restaurants menu and they would deliver the food. You could also order from more than one restaurant. The fee was based on distance.
-
The food was delivered right to your dining table.
-
Mostly we ordered from our favorite Thai restaurant and sometimes from our favorite Mexican restaurant.
-
I have had periods of vegetarianism and veganism, DR Jane.
-
If we had company and I didn't have time to cook we ordered from our favorite Italian restaurant.
-
The restaurant did offer meatless burgers, as well.
-
The food was delivered right to your dining table.
The original farm to table!
-
Do I hear SIX?
-
I think I do.
-
Hey singdaw - nice to see you in a happy place.
I'm excited about an "extra" book by bk this year.
I've almost been convinced not to use food delivery services because of the cost and how much the mark up is. It's tough for a single person, really. It's hard to justify the extra cost, although sometimes I just don't care!
Good to see everyone here. Everything is good here. Opening a production of Bright Star next Friday. Love this little show - it's definitely a blue-grass Lifetime Drama. Our cast is great - our band of 5 (keys, banjo, fiddle, guitar and bass) is perfect for our small space. Looking forward to the work this next week to get it in shape for an audience.
-
The restaurant did offer meatless burgers, as well.
I actually prefer the taste of a good bean or veggie burger. The fake meatless ones, no so much.
-
The food was delivered right to your dining table.
The original farm to table!
That was when we lived in Ashland, from the garden to the table. OMG it was good.
-
Good to see DR Matthew on the premises.
-
OH MY GOD is it hot and oppressive out there.
Mainly, I'm just not used to it. I'm trying to remember when it last felt like this here. It's only 90 damn degrees, but the humidity makes it feel like you're walking around in a whole different gravity. When was I last in this kind of heat at all? Not sure, but it's been a while.
I know this is how the South feels in much of the year. And I know (and remember from childhood) that you do, in fact, get used to it.
Hell (or HELL), we lived in Fort Lauderdale with no A/C, and there were only certain times of year it would feel like there was a heat wave or something. Because we had, in fact, gotten used to it. That's unimaginable today.
-
I had to go across town because I wanted to pop into Trader Joe's, so I did a couple of other things over that way as well. And once you park the car in an open parking lot, lock it up, and then get back in... wow.

Or so I’ve been told.

Hi George!
-
Hello, DR Iris.
-
DR George, you have unearthed more buried treasure with that video clip!
-
Congrats on your new stage manager opportunity!
-
Well, buried, anyway. 8)
-
Hi singdaw!
-
BK does not care for page seven.
-
But I'll bet it's better to be on page seven in the afternoon.
-
Sort of like Arthur.
-
In the afternoon.
-
DR Iris, I hope you are finding some solace in the bits and pieces where you can find it.
-
Rodzinski, your trivia night sounds like fun.
I miss those.
-
Thank you, singdaw.
I have good days and bad.
-
95 degrees here, with a heat index of 107.
Ugh.
-
Lunch today was normal for a Friday: Baked catfish, grits (double order), a baked sweet potato and unsweetened iced tea.
I am still full although I ate nearly 6 hours ago!
-
I only go outside to water the 20 plants on my balcony.
It feels like a sauna.
At least I no longer deal with the 115 degree days when I lived in Phoenix.
-
Despite no rain having been forecast, dark ominous clouds continue to build up overhead. The weather guesser now says a small cell is making its way around my County.
A look outside revealed no rain, but something that took me by surprise.
Lots of little white fluffy spots on my lawn.
After I pondered it, I realize a contretemps must have taken place among the gaggle of geese that has been traversing my yard the past couple of day.s
Geese can be very touchy.
-
Baked catfish.
Freshly caught salmon.
Yum.
-
It is only 84 degrees outdoors, but it's nearly 98 on the heat index. It is very close and very hot. No breeze evident anywhere.
-
A thunderstorm is brewing.
Need to run outside to put the delicate plants under cover.
This happens almost every day.
-
Be back later.
-
ME, ME, ME! :)
YOU! YOU! YOU!

Possibly, but I believe you were offered only FOUR!
-
Oh, look! It's Page Eight!
-
I like your rhyme scheme, DR Ron Pulliam.
Thank you, singdaw!
-
Had two lox, bagel, and cream cheese sandwiches - very good.
-
I finally finished futzing and finessing and wrote two new pages thus far. I'm in a fun sequence that should last about four more pages, then I move on to a new chapter.
-
Not going to be a novella. I'm not halfway through and I'm already at 34,000 words. A novella can run up to 50,000 but I'll be well past that number by the time I finish. Who knew?
-
I had to go across town because I wanted to pop into Trader Joe's, so I did a couple of other things over that way as well. And once you park the car in an open parking lot, lock it up, and then get back in... wow.
I hope your car cools off quickly.

I feel bad for anyone dealing with the heat.

We are very happy as it is only 79 degrees here, and there was a nice breeze on our walk.

I think between covid and the air quality from fires it has suffered :(

DR Iris, I hope progress is being made on moving. I think about you and hard things have been for you. A move might be what you need. I have found while grieving it helps to have a change of scenery and distractions.

Congratulations, Rodzinski the Wizard
-
Good Morning.
Sometimes you have to check in where real people say it like it is.
One question (on a NON Ask BK day)
BK - why are you writing a book in July?
Salutations, Matthew!
-
Krause!! RIP!
That’s Lizzie to this crowd!
-
I LOVE her "Simple Little Things (https://youtu.be/UGFVA11gPSo)" from 110 in the Shade.
Amazing
-
I wonder about folks - like construction workers, road workers, even postal workers - who have to work outside when conditions are like this. It seems inhumane.
-
They die. And the Texas governor takes away their water breaks.
-
Aren’t I cheery?
-
Nine!
-
Waiting for a pizza.
-
Capicola, pepperoni, ham and bacon
-
It sounded right.
-
I began a new version of No. 34 this morning. I think I'm happier with this one. I wrote six pages of score and I should finish it tomorrow.
-
I do hope some DR wins mega millions tonight. I need $2,000,000 for my recording project.
-
I don't suppose DR Rodzinski won that much last night?
-
Amazing
'Tis, indeed.
-
the Texas governor
He's a cruel clod. Amongst other things.
-
I do hope some DR wins mega millions tonight. I need $2,000,000 for my recording project.
That's a drop in the bucket when someone wins a cool billion. May it be so.
-
Pizza sounds quite appealing.
-
But I've got a fridge full of groceries.
-
No drumsticks, though.
-
We had thunder, lighting, and heavy rain a half hour ago. The sky was about as dark as nighttime.
-
But now it's sunny again.
-
Go figure.
-
sad. I blame the problems of the Oregon Shakespeare festival squarely on the execrable Libby Appel who ran the Indiana Repertory Theeder for a time and lost almost ONE THIRD of their season subscribers with her stupid and unwatchable productions and hired only her untalented and gross friends to do them......
-
And my guess is she did the same in Oregon.
-
Congrats to DR RODZINSKI.
I forget if I gave you a consultation when you visited the World of Wisdom with our friend Matt....but it was lovely meeting you all these many years ago.
DR GINNY and DH RICHARD and their dear son also visited the WOW one Saturday afternoon and it was a most excellent day.
-
Yes....as DR RON PULLIAM reiterated....it is a time of change and opportunity especially for us Virgos.
-
Congrats to MR BK on his continued PAGES.
-
It is 91 degrees....the good thing about it is....I do not have to go to the theeder....AND my neighbor Michael is walking up and down the street without his shirt on.....as I sit in the rocking chair on my front porch.
-
Break time over. Back to writing.
-
It is 91 degrees....the good thing about it is....I do not have to go to the theeder....AND my neighbor Michael is walking up and down the street without his shirt on.....as I sit in the rocking chair on my front porch.
Do you have a mister or a fan?
-
Friday evening greetings! Extreme heat and humidity here, along with an air quality alert :P
-
The pizza was mighty fine.
-
Friday evening greetings! Extreme heat and humidity here, along with an air quality alert :P
Ugh.
-
We did a library errand and went out for an early dinner in the Dayton ‘burbs and I couldn’t wait to get home to the AC.
-
I need to wash my car.
-
DR John G, I’m glad to hear you received mail from me yesterday!
-
Do you have a mister or a fan?
I hear they are helpful in treating the vapors.
-
TEN, by the way.
-
We've got us a HHW party.
-
DR Ginny, since you've gotten rid of all those theatrical programs, you must ready to move now!
-
DR RON PULLIAM actually there is a nice breeze now and then that makes the 92 degrees (Now) tolerable.
-
I don't ask what the base is in veggie soups either.
And did you know that McDonald's fries list of ingredients (in the US) includes natural beef flavor?? They're not even vegetarian, and never have been.
I am glad I didn't know this when we did eat them.
-
I used to ask for them without salt as a way to have them made fresh.
-
It has been years and years since I have eaten their fries.
-
Sneaky, DR Jane. And a great idea! :)
-
I have to call someone back that I really prefer not to call. Nothing bad, just really don't enjoy chatting with him. Keith said it is my turn-lol
Good luck, Jane! ;)
Thanks. It was actually a good call, about a class luncheon in LA which we can't attend.
-
Often restaurants will allow you to swap sweet potato fried for regular fries. But they're still fried. :)
-
DR Jane, at least when you go to a class reunion, you and Keith have each other if it gets dreary.
-
They die. And the Texas governor takes away their water breaks.
I saw that >:(
-
I personally avoid reunions like the plague.
-
Excepting HHW reunions, of course.
-
Aren’t I cheery?
If I had your governor I wouldn't be cheery ;)
-
the Texas governor
He's a cruel clod. Amongst other things.
He sure is.
-
Cheery with a cherry on top.
-
Cheeriness personified.
-
DR RON PULLIAM actually there is a nice breeze now and then that makes the 92 degrees (Now) tolerable.
A breeze makes a big difference.
-
Clean your laundry with Cheer.
-
Speaking of Cheer, has anyone here tried the new laundry detergent sheets?
-
DR Jane, at least when you go to a class reunion, you and Keith have each other if it gets dreary.
They haven't been dreary yet. It is nice though that we share the experience.
-
I am intrigued. If they work, it sure would be better than sending all those huge plastic jugs to landfills. We recycle them, but I wonder.
-
Speaking of Cheer, has anyone here tried the new laundry detergent sheets?
No but I am curious about them.
-
Nine pages done and I'll do another one or two tonight.
-
BK, when you are writing a murder mystery, how far along in the process are you before you know who did it?
-
We're getting close.
-
I can smell it.
-
ELEVEN!
-
Lucky #301
-
I guessed the bill (for my portion) for the diagnostic tests I had a few weeks ago would be about $750.
-
It looks like my contribution will be $17.
-
Good to see everyone here.
I love Bright Star! I saw it maybe six times, thanks to Rob Berman's generosity. You're not playing accordion?
That's a really good question. I could on one song, but there's a lot of switching back and forth because I'm covering 2 keys book - the second book is really just accordion, autoharp and a little celeste, so it's easily combined. I am still considering live accordion for a few songs, we'll see :-)
-
I'm not really a "meatless" person - but I do like the Starbucks Impossible Breakfast sandwich.

https://www.opb.org/article/2023/06/18/oregon-shakespeare-festival-financial-troubles-analysis/
Many reasons for their current problems.
I hope it can be saved.
This was interesting. This statement doesn't surprise me..."Some in Ashland also say OSF’s decline in ticket sales is the result of alienating its core audience of primarily white, middle-aged tourists through shows that are too focused on social justice and racial issues rather than on traditional Shakespeare."
I can picture Ashland getting a bit carried away though it doesn't mention the non-traditional Shakespeare that some also might not be pleased with.

Why?? Why would anyone make that kind of law? What is his reasoning?? >:(
-
Of course, I haven't tried to find out, but I really can't imagine any legitimate reason for doing that.
-

Thank you again.

If you are a member of the GOP, you are hellbound to make sure that business will never be told what to do.
-
I used to ask for them without salt as a way to have them made fresh.
I've read several articles/comments about workers asking people not to do this. It's really a big hassle for them to clean out the equipment so that no salt is there, when you can just ask for fresh fries to be made. They will (should) easily do that for someone and it doesn't make things more difficult for them.

Mary Steenburgen plays accordion in the new Book Club movie.

Almost like winning the lottery.
-
I personally avoid reunions like the plague.
I've never been to one.
-
Speaking of Cheer, has anyone here tried the new laundry detergent sheets?
I have. They certainly take up a LOT less room than any bottle, and the packaging can be composted!
-
And they clean my clothes well enough for me. :)
-
I am intrigued. If they work, it sure would be better than sending all those huge plastic jugs to landfills. We recycle them, but I wonder.
Yup!

And why did this horrible bill even reach the governor to be signed!

Nice!

Fuck them all.
-
Of course, I haven't tried to find out, but I really can't imagine any legitimate reason for doing that.
I could find anything that said why. Maybe I haven't searched enough.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
And on that happy note (F#), I'm off to my mom's to play BK's favorite Phase 23.
;D
-
Good news on your co-pay, Singdaw. I suspect that was a relief.
-
I used to ask for them without salt as a way to have them made fresh.
I've read several articles/comments about workers asking people not to do this. It's really a big hassle for them to clean out the equipment so that no salt is there, when you can just ask for fresh fries to be made. They will (should) easily do that for someone and it doesn't make things more difficult for them.
This was when Bryan was little and one of our babysitter's worked at the McDonalds near us and suggested I make the request. I really didn't want Bryan having the salt, plus he said it was the only way to get fresh fries.
-
I personally avoid reunions like the plague.
I've never been to one.
I have been to all of them. Keith missed one to stay home with Sherlock while he was recovering from surgery.
-
And they clean my clothes well enough for me. :)
Well "enough" ;D
-
I am intrigued. If they work, it sure would be better than sending all those huge plastic jugs to landfills. We recycle them, but I wonder.
Yup!
I remember when I could buy Downey liquid softener in disposable cartons and pour it into my plastic container. Sadly they stopped selling those.
-
Another dream was one in which I was "employed" and working in some sort of factory with multiple divisions and buildings.
I love your second dream, Ron. Sort of Twlight Zone-sequence.
-
Hello, DR Jeanne.
-
TWELVE!
-
I wonder about folks - like construction workers, road workers, even postal workers - who have to work outside when conditions are like this. It seems inhumane.
They die. And the Texas governor takes away their water breaks.
Why?? Why would anyone make that kind of law? What is his reasoning?? >:(
If you are a member of the GOP, you are hellbound to make sure that business will never be told what to do.
Next they will eliminate bathroom breaks.
-
Hello, Sing.
-
It looks like my contribution will be $17.
FANTSTIC!
-
We have completed Foyle's War (sublime) and Dark Shadows (ridiculous). We'll have to forage for some new stories.
-
Think pink!
;D
-
DR Matthew, given the style of music in Bright Star, is it as fully notated as more classic shows, or is there more freedom for the musicians?
-
DR Ginny, since you've gotten rid of all those theatrical programs, you must ready to move now!
Ha, DR Singdaw, not even close!
-
Is Sing planning to win the Mega Millions? Did I miss a post? And just what are your plans for your winnings?
-
Thanks, DR Jeanne, but I think DR vixmom already has dibs on that.
-
But I got the window.
-
So there's that.
-
Sometimes, nothing refreshes quite like a glass of room-temperature filtered water.
OK, forget the lottery. Did you purchase a water filter? I’m a big fan of them.
-
DR Matthew, given the style of music in Bright Star, is it as fully notated as more classic shows, or is there more freedom for the musicians?
There are a few sections for solos, mostly in the entr'acte and exit music. There are a few areas marked "Fill" but I'm not sure what is in the band parts for that. However, mostly everything is notated. We are missing viola, cello and mandolin (and drums....) and we are pretty full sounding. It's very well orchestrated. However - a PAIN IN THE BUTT to play on piano for rehearsals. I was worried my cast would have a hard time going from just piano to the band where the instruments sound totally different. They did very well.
-
But I got the window.
The window??
-
TTFN.
-
Tonight is a popcorn night.

-
But I got the window.
The window??
The window seat. You know, dibs.
-
Just being silly.
-
DR Jeanne, I've had a Brita filter jug for many years now. Love it.
-
Someone got decapitated on Father Brown tonight.
-
They are making apple strudel on America's Test Kitchen and I want some.
-
Do you think Mindy's sells more cheesecake, or more strudel?
-
[a Guys & Dolls reference]
-
This made me think of DR John G.
-
I think that one should use at least one word from this least each day.
-
LUCKY THIRTEEN!
-
All by myself...
-
Good night, friends.
-
Good night, Singdaw.
-
You could spackle the den.
-
Martinize your shorts.
-
Yes, I am back to Ren and Stimpy.
-
I’ve gotten to the first Bob Camp episode and everything has changed.
-
Our cold spell is almost over. Tomorrow’s high will be only 99. After that it’s 8 days above 100.
-
This made me think of DR John G.
BK approves of malarkey. I love cattywampus and kerfluffle, too.

That's a great list, Singdaw!
-
Starting the documentary Little Richard I Am Everything.
-
Slap happy 375!
-
Just being silly.
Heaven forfend!!!
-
Someone got decapitated on Father Brown tonight.
HEY! What the fluff?
How about a "spoiler alert"?
We don't all see it on the same nights!!!
Now I have to wonder who lost his head!
-
The original Tutti Frutti lyrics were about anal penetration. Go know.
-
Krause!! RIP!
That’s Lizzie to this crowd!
Somewhere I have an LP of 110 In the Shade autographed by some of the cast. I wonder if Inga signed it. I’ll go check…
-
Signed by all three principles!
-
“To Harry, with good wishes always. Inga Swenson”
-
The other signatures are personalized in a way that this Harry must’ve been involved with the production.
-
I don't suppose DR Rodzinski won that much last night?
Alas, won only enough to pay for food ‘n’ drinks.
-
And my guess is she did the same in Oregon.
This is what I’ve heard. Several of the failing theaters need to look at some self-defeating programming choices.
-
Congrats to DR RODZINSKI.
I forget if I gave you a consultation when you visited the World of Wisdom with our friend Matt....but it was lovely meeting you all these many years ago.
DR GINNY and DH RICHARD and their dear son also visited the WOW one Saturday afternoon and it was a most excellent day.
I got not one but two consultations on separate visits! The 2nd, I was briefly in town for a Colts playoff game that turned out to be Peyton Manning’s final game as a Colt, though we didn’t know it at the time.
-
Congrats to DR RODZINSKI.

Now if only you had been in Baltimore the last time the Colts played there before skulking off in the dead of night to relocate to Indy!
-
That's my final thought of the day.
Sad, huh?
Oh, well.
Good night, all!
-
Signed by all three principles!
Excellent.
-
This made me think of DR John G.
The only one of these words I do not use on a regular basis is cattywampus
-
The documentary was excellent. Little Richard was a great ball of talent, a world of contradictions and surprisingly human. Fascinating.
-
Congratulations toSingdaw on the excellent insurance coverage
-
14!
-
Penn and Teller were great
-
Good night, all
-
Singdaw, I’m looking for new shows, too. Have you seen The Ambassador with Pauline Collins? It’s from 1998. I’m rewatching it. It holds up well.
-
A friend of mine had come separately from us abd she was seated in the front row
-
She was chosen to participate in one of the tricks,
-
She is a longtime avid Penn & Teller fan so she was hugely delighted
-
Good night.
-
Page fourteen! That's what I'M talkin' about.
-
At 5:30 pm the time and temperature sign on the top of the bank read 101 F
-
At 11:32 pm it had cooled down considerably
-
89F
-
Glad Penn & Teller lived up to your hopes! Would like to see them someday.
-
All excited to make cottage cheese ice cream -4 ingredients! I froze the ice cream bowl for my machine and put the ingredients in - and forgot to put the paddle in - so by the time I went to put the paddle in the mixture at the bottom had already froze and it wouldn't go all the way to the bottom and the lid wouldn't fit. So I scooped everything out, put it in a bowl and into the fridge it went. Then I rinsed out the ice cream bowl and put it back in the freezer and we'll try again tomorrow.

The name Robert Irsay is still considered a curse word in Baltimore.
Or so they tell me.
-
Gratuitous post devoid of substance.
-
Hi Iris!
Yes, Baltimoreans are still bitter about that even though they have their own successful team they stole from Cleveland.
-
Eyelids getting heavy…
-
Must…
-
Push us to a new plateau.
-
Hi, Rodzinski!
Baltimore loves The Ravens, but the midnight ride of Irsay and The Colts still stings.
-
His son runs the team now. Much more sympathetic figure. Kind of a goof as opposed to the risible tyrant his father was.
-
Good night, all.
Sweet dreams.
😴
-
Farewell for now, Dear Sweet Iris!
-
Johnny Rivers has a hit song “Summer Rain” that says in its bridge, “All summer long we spent groovin’ in the sand. Everybody kept on playing Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”
-
That song came out in late ‘67, the same year as Sgt. Pepper’s.
-
His son runs the team now. Much more sympathetic figure. Kind of a goof as opposed to the risible tyrant his father was.
Yes, DR Rodzinski, Jim Irsay sounds like a good guy.
“I love Baltimore,’’ Irsay said. “I was raised there. I still get steamed crabs flown in. I have so many close friends in Baltimore. I talk with John Ziemann of the (Baltimore Colts) Marching Band.
“Baltimore is such a big part of my soul and my memories.’’
-
I wonder if it is the first song to reference the name of another artist’s LP title.
-
Page 15, by the way.

Most pages of posts this July and most since June 11 after the successful Kritzerland/Sherman show.

And, now…
once again…

And George still must report on his Phase 10 results for the night.
-
Anyone ever play the card game Hand and Foot? That’s a good time.
-
Mega Millions was won by nobody tonight. So gonna be over a billion next time. We’re still in the game!
-
And now, to quote the late William Finley as Winslow Leach in his musical version of “Faust” in Brian DePalma’s Phantom of the Paradise…
Sleep alone can ease my mind.
