Rodzinski, all the Kritzerland online shows are on YouTube. Watch 'em all - they're wildly entertaining and have amazing people, including a lot of my NY friends. The anniversary show is particularly amazing - Petula Clark's in that one.
I must shower and dress the car will be here in 90 minutes
These are the things I ponder.
Good morning, all.
I have zero plans for the day, so little is apt to get done.
It is supposed to be partly sunny, which I guess means it will also be partly cloudy.
The difference, I am guessing, is that when it is partly sunny it is "mostly sunny, and when it is partly cloudy it is "mostly" cloudy.
I wouldn't bet on either.
I hope Larry is all right.
It is unseemly that he has not yet posted this morning.
He moved everything out of my way and helped me stand up. After he left, I cleaned the litter, but when I now kneel on the floor, my right toes really hurt, and I don't know if I sprained them or broke them. I'm assuming a sprain. I'll be lying down for a while.
I actually think I sprained my ankle.

Oh, but he has!
~~~TRAVEL VIBES~~~ today for DR vixmom!!!!!!
Found out last night that the CPAP machine I have now - the one sent after a year and a half of waiting to replace the machine that had been recalled - has its own set of problems and may be susceptible to catching fire. I am so frustrated.
By not exposing his identity, when Batman is driving the batmobile he is either driving uninsured or committing insurance fraud.
Good to see you, Freddie. Hope all is well.
Happy Birthday to the host with the most!!
I am not caught up but I am,packed
And do not yet have any idea what important thing I am forgetting
Lovely photos from DR JANE last night.
Tom Snyder (from the old late-night NBC "Tomorrow" show) would kid the local weather forecaster Frank Field about his forecasts and once said (paraphrasing) "I always rely on Frank's forecasts, like when I walked out of my building the other day and stepped into three inches of partly cloudy."
Belated birthday wishes to Jane!
Loved Jason Statham in that.
After a year and a half, we finally got our appointments for our interviews to get our Nexus border cards. This will allow us to more quickly pass through the border. A big deal. Some days we have to wait in line behind Canadians who come here to pick up parcels and gas.
Elmore, I'm glad you are ok. I'm also glad you have nice neighbors.
Thanks for that description, DR elmore3003. That sounds like something I'd like to read.
Did you watch the video?
Last week I finished Matthew Lopez' 2-part, 7-hour play The Inheritance, inspired by Howard's End.
New York Jew Eric Glass has been left an estate in upstate New York on his elderly friend Walter's death. During Walter's stay there, thirty years earlier, he brought his friend Peter, who was homeless and dying of AIDS, to the estate to die. Over the course of the AIDS epidemic, he cared for 200+ friends and strangers with AIDS who are now buried on the land. At the end of Part One, Eric makes his first visit to Walter's house and is greeted by the ghosts of the men who were nursed and buried there.
Rupert Holmes e-mailed me birthday wishes.
That was a tear jerker. Beautifully staged.
You are dressing the car? My, my!
More to ponder: Neither Superman nor Mighty Mouse is licensed to fly by the FAA.
Cleaned out some of the closet this morning. There’s room to hang more clothes now.
That took long enough. I didn't realize Canadians received priority. Good luck with your interviews!
I'm not quite sure what noises a snowman would make, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be "thumpety thump thump."
I'm up, I'm up - eleven hours of glorious sleep.
I’ve seen several cars this week which were dressed for Christmas, each wearing antlers.
They don’t receive priority. People go through in the order they arrive at the border. Just sometimes a lot of Canadians are headed in to get gas when we just want to get home.
BK born today. Ryan O’Neal exits. RIP
What’s Up Doc? A fave from childhood. Wonder what all Barbra had to say about Ryan in her book.
I'm up, I'm up - eleven hours of glorious sleep.
That was your first present today.
Mega staying-upright vibes to Elmore and a speedy recovery.
And thanks to Shane for helping. Does he have a key to your apartment?
I had two good things today. My friend and cleaning guy, Brian, whose birthday is today,too, has promised to come by in a couple weeks to help with cleaning and organizing. One day won’t be enough, but it’ll be a good start. The handyman came by and took measurements for my custom interior storm window. This apartment is sooo drafty! One of the kitchen windows faces west, great for catching an ocean breeze on a nice day, but not good when there’s a storm or even just wind on a cold night. I had custom storm windows made for my last house and they really helped. I hope this works out as well, because I freeze on cold nights.
As are the aliens who visit us.
I have heard that they have to recall and reissue all of the deluxe Sound of Music soundtrack boxsets because all the material on one of the discs got reproduced on another disc in error, instead of what was supposed to be on there. So they had a grand release announcement last week, but now they'll have to re-ship everything in February.
How does that happen? And whose head should roll? ;D
Then it is the cards vs the special Washington License that will get you through faster.
Is this just on the CDs? Someone in quality control at the pressing plant will be taking the heat.
As for whose head should roll, I nominate singdaw to step up to the plate and take one for the team!!!
We had a wonderfu video chat. Freyja opened all of her presents tonight and liked them and played with them while we talked.
Hope BK is having an enjoyable dinner out and a night at the movies.
I don't know anything about May December.
