I must seek out that Arena Happy End of which DR Elmore speaks.
Is anybody going to see The Color Purple?
Tomorrow is my pre-op check for the cataract surgery. Bloodwork, too, if I remember to fast late tonight and in the morn'.

ONLY 364 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!
Next year is a Leap Year.
In completely unrelated news, tomorrow I must attend work wearing a duvet as inexplicably all my clothes have shrunk ( no doubt something to do with the drop in temperature)
Happy Boxing Day to those who celebrate.
TOD
I will be dropping in on New Year's Eve, but not here constantly. Pretty much like the last few years. We'll be doing our annual zoom thing with the small group of friends who used to be regular par-tay guests in the Before Times.
Tomorrow is my pre-op check for the cataract surgery. Bloodwork, too, if I remember to fast late tonight and in the morn'.
I guess I'll have to settle for all the rays of sunshine found on these here pages.
Ron Pulliam, with whom I once shared dim sum in Oakland, is a good person to ask.

Absolutely you should go for dim sum. If I lived any closer to you, I'd stop by and pick you up on my way over there.
This video is a ton of fun for cat lovers:

And the fun we’d have! Unfortunately I’m saddled with two very unadventurous eaters, my kids.
Somewhere nearby, a lawn is being mowed.

Guck is yuck.
The movie version of SWEENEY TODD is on my television.....I can hear it, but I am not looking at it.
Should I go for dim sum at Yan’s Garden in British Columbia? It’s owned and operated by Yan of PBS’s “Yan Can Cook” fame. Would have to convince the family.

Sadly, IMO, it is more interesting visually than it is aurally.
Boxing Day to Canadians is their Black Friday (although they now partake in US version of that as well). It’s odd to me to go shopping the day after Christmas. No way.
I certainly love my 1963 Columbia Masterworks lp of Happy End with Lotte Lenya.

Today in the mail I received two Christmas cards.

I met him years ago when he came to San Antonio. He was more interested in places to continue drinking than anything else.

I grew up eating tongue which people find gross.
Tuesday evening greetings! We have been home a couple of hours after a delightful Christmas weekend with Charlotte and Hannah and their parents. Hannah cried when we left.
And, as of tomorrow, our house will have been shown 7 times. One of tomorrow’s is a second look, if I’m reading the app correctly.
Here Gatto Gatto!
