We took a vote, and the EYES have it.
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear.
PT was tiring yesterday.....my therapist added some Tai Chi.....which is interesting and very helpful.
I haven't done that since the cast of HAIR used to do about 15 minutes of it before the house opened at the Phoenix Theatre in 1988!

I've got three different pairs of CVS reading glasses: 1.25 for computer and music distance, 2.0 for reading in a chair, and 2.75 which is getting into really strong territory (you could get dizzy walking around in them) but good for very very close-up reading. These are their most inexpensive store brand, and they're wonderful. They work so well for me (and I even like the frames) that I'm going to get second pairs of the first two as backups and at this point I'm not even considering prescription ones. Fifteen bucks a pop, man.
I'm up, I'm up - three hours of sleep - was about to go back to bed when the galley arrived (but not the covers). So, I did a quick spot check and they clearly didn't even look at the instruction sheet I always include and they screwed up the copyright page - with what we provide, all the have to do is drop in the ISBNs and done. But no, they didn't read the instructions and substituted their standard page, which doesn't have the book design credits. Their fixing that now - and then something happened, don't know HOW it's even possible, that rendered the photo spread completely black. They're fixing that, too. So, I'm waiting for those corrections - everything else seemed fine.
Back from the store and I will soon go to get my hairs cut.
Happy Birthday, dear Rodzinski!

DR RODZINSKI'S story sounded like the beginning of a movie that MR BK would hate....unless it was directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
Happy birthday, DR Rodzinski!
Thank you, John! Maybe. We accidentally found a secret entry to his expansive acreage. Or maybe he was one of the people in the other vehicles.
Happy birthday DR Rodzinski! Here's hoping the rest of your trip is a little less exciting than yesterday.
Modem and router went down - why? Just me, no one else in the neighborhood. Got tech on the phone and we had to do the usual unplugging and plugging in routine. The interesting part was being asked if I wanted to join Bruce's Hot Spot - I did and was online from that, so that's good for the future. Bruce's Hot Spot is the name of a nightclub in my next novel.
I may go over to CVS in the early evening and check out their glasses.
Sitting vibes for Jane!

My vision is fine now, the reading glasses are great, etc. And yet...
And yet...
I read that as: "Thank you, John Wayne."
I had a nice visit with my sister Paula this afternoon......a little vodka always helps things along.......
Thank you DR George.
It was also blurry since my cataracts have gotten worse.
DR Rodzinski I just read your very strange, unnerving experience at the cemetery. I am glad you are safe to enjoy your birthday.
Yesterday morning, I had a dentist appointment to have a small filling done and to have the dentist explore another tooth that has an odd shadow on the x-ray. She said it might be a fracture, but she cannot really tell.
At any rate, it was a quick procedure once the anesthetic took hold which was a bit of an ordeal. All my life, getting dentists to numb me up before a procedure has been a little time-consuming.
When I was in my early teens, I went to my first dentist. He identified a few cavities that needed filling and said we would do one a week. These appointments were extremely trying for me because of the pain I always felt. I was vocal about it, but the dentist would not heed my pain. I would grip the arms of the dental chair as hard as I could. He would later tell my mom that I was a terrible patient because he knew he was giving me the approved/recommended anesthetic for young people.
It was not until my first dental appointment in the Navy that I learned it did not need to be painful. A Navy captain was my dentist and, as he started to work, I flinched a bit. He stopped and asked if I felt any pain. I told him it was all right, and that I could tolerate it. He said I wasn't supposed to feel any pain and should never have to tolerate it. He numbed me up some more, and I had my first painless dental experience.
Since that time, I have always been adamant with a new dentist that what they consider adequate numbing would not be enough.
I am wholly recovered from yesterday's visit. My mouth was numb most of yesterday and only returned to normal overnight.

~~~Quick Recovery and Pain-Be-Gone Vibes for Jane!!~~~
Jane - On the bright side, you're five posts away from 132,000 posts!
Just did the eBook stuff - I'll let you know when it's up, for those who may want to read it in advance of the hardcover and softcover release.
Is there a rattlesnake season?
A FB friend wrote, "What do we all think of raisins"
I saw my first rattlesnake of the season today.
Of course, if you are in northern Arizona, rattlers are out in the summer, too.
It’s spring. All sorts of things are out and about.
Spring is definitely in the air.
~~~CONTINUED PAIN-BEGONE VIBES~~~ for DR Jane!!
if we get to page nine, you should really re-post that shot of your stitches.
A FB friend wrote, "What do we all think of raisins"
I replied, "Contrary to Sondheim, they don't rhyme with liasons."
Anyway, it was quite the experience.
That must have been scary!
Was the package something you ordered or wanted?

Just did the eBook stuff - I'll let you know when it's up, for those who may want to read it in advance of the hardcover and softcover release. The eBook version also has sixteen pages of color photos rather than the black-and-whites of the hard copies.
For some reason, unbeknownst to me, a package was sent to me via USPS "Smart Locker."
I know, and why do that at night.
I don't want to keep anyone in suspense. The package was a beautifully bound and produced bookstop of a book in a slipcase cover - the genealogy of my father's side of the family. It has been several years in the making. A family foundation paid for the production and distribution to all the desendents free of cost.
It's probably about 500 or 600 pages.
This is very far up my leg.
Wow, sorry for interrupting your story, singdaw!
This Sinbad isn’t as fun as this first. The whole movie, down to the Rozsas score, takes itself too seriously.

Happy Birthday to our one and only Rodzinski!!!
Thank you, “grandma”! Not my grandma, of course. Do you know what your title will be? Meemaw? Oma? Granny?

Wherefore art thou, George?
