Well, you've read the notes, the notes were blobby, and now it is time for you to post until the blobby cows come home.

-
CONGRATULATIONS, BK, on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!!
-
Good morning, friends.
-
And others.
-
Glad the proposal at the theedur last night was accepted!
-
.
-
It's a jam-packed day.
-
Blueberry, I think.
-
Who decides these things?
-
Good morning, all.
-
Isn't every day dance day?
-
Dance, if it makes you happy.
-
I read that somewhere.
-
Off to a plant sale.
-
Yes, please.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Since 7:00 this morning, I have been unable to log onto today's posts or the second half of yesterday's. I keep getting this message:
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.
-
It's just one more nuisance this damned morning.
-
The news! You can see the picture and read part of the story.

Great proposal fun at FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON!
Good thing she said yes!

Fabulous "What If?" lyric in today's Notes. Thanks for sharing it, BK!
-
.
National New York Day?
How do we celebrate this? :)
-
Congrats to BK for his new millstone!
-
Good morning, all.
-
The site was unreachable for me at 7:45am eastern, but would come and go for the next few hours (mostly go). This is the longest I've seen it up, so let's see if I can get this post made...
-
In a while I'll be getting ready to drive down to Bridgeport for the matinee of my director friend's wonderful production of SWEENEY TODD.
-
When playing handbells near water, don't accidentally lose your grip.
-
Onward!
-
I have been having major connectivity issues with this site all morning. The error message DR elmore3003 reported above.
-
Two!
-
I went and bought a purple sage, which I have long wanted, a pride of Barbados and a rosemary.
-
Then I just about knocked myself out getting them into the ground and taking on some pesky ash sproutings. .
-
Dang, but ash is hard to kill..
-
I then collapsed into a nap.
-
So, a busy morning.
-
I'm taking it easy this afternoon with Inside Out 2
-
She said yes!! How fun!
-
Oh the posts we could have had if this site was functioning as intended.
-
When playing handbells near water, don't accidentally lose your grip.
Duly noted.
-
She said yes!! How fun!
Yes, it was fun.
-
How are the little Rodzinskis?
-
John G, you're at a palindromic posting number, 93939.
Not a millstone, but worthy of note. :)
-
If you are a fan of The Thursday Murder Club books then I recommend reading Richard Osman's newest book, We Solve Murders. It is his first book in a new series.
-
DR Jrand, sweet photo from last night. I'm glad the proposal went well :)
-
CONGRATULATIONS, BK, on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!!

Next month, Harlequin Productions is collaborating with the Olympia Symphony Orchestra and members of Masterworks Choral Ensemble for a one-weekend-only run of Sweeney Todd (https://harlequinproductions.org/show/sweeney-todd/), and with the entire symphony playing, it will be glorious! I can't wait!
-
Yes, it is a shame store bought roses no longer smell good.
If I am out walking and see a lavender rose I will try and stop to smell it. Usually they are still nice.

I'm almost halfway through The Friday Afternoon Club, Griffin Dunne's nepo-baby memoir. My, but the names he drops.

Thanks for noticing, Freddie. I had not.
You're welcome. Post #93939 somehow has such a nice aura about it.
-
Not liking Inside Out 2.
-
Inside Out sounds like a dance move
-
I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of sleep.
-
Dinner has been moved to tomorrow night.
-
So, now have to figure out food for today.
-
Server attack this morning, I've been told.
-
So, I order this California Roll last night - fine. Then I notice that it says that the restaurant is temporarily closed on DoorDash. Not fine. So, I order from another jernt. Fine. Then I get notified that the driver is on his way - from the original restaurant that was supposedly closed but wasn't. Both orders arrived at the same time. I now have two California Rolls.
-
I tried the first jernt - it was good - a little fishy.
-
Tried the second jernt - better and not fishy, so I ate that one and put the other one in the fridge, so I have that to eat at some point.
-
The whole affair was a little fishy, frankly.
-
Or should that be - frankly fishy?
-
So, I get up and the computer is on but at the sign-on screen, which means it shut down at some point and restarted itself. It's up and running now, but weird.
-
Greetings from Bridgeport’s Downtown Cabaret.
Table 62, in case you need to ring me up.
-
Don't want weird.
-
Tored pf weord/
-
THAT was weird.
-
Inside Out sounds like a dance move
Or a musical about an all-woman's therapy session. ;)
-
Have fun DR CHAS SMITH.
-
We are closed.
-
No we are open.
-
Did anyone salt the French Fries yet?
-
I will be on my way to the final performance of FFA in about an hour.

The musical by BK's own Adryan Russ and Doug Haverty!
-
This has been a most unsatisfactory day. I have accomplished very little that I wanted to.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Mega relief and healing vibes to DR Ginny.
I’m sorry you have to go through this.
-
DR Elmore, if it was the Mexican food that gave you the upset it’s probably just one item that did so. Try to isolate which it is, then you can eat the rest and not have to give up your beloved cuisine.
-
If it was my gut the Tres Leches would be the prime suspect.
-
We are going through the change of seasons. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is stressful for the body, causing us to feel more fatigued and perhaps a bit off. I certainly do. Me days are in order.
-
The plumber arrived yesterday, after much ado, and fixed my toilet. It fell into that category of things that somehow required far more effort than it should have.
But it’s done.
-
No other news here. Just trying to toss and pack, albeit at a very slow pace. Rethinking a few things.
-
Vibes to all.
TTFN.
-

But it’s done.
I'm glad it is done and vibes it stays done.
-
My order from Nordstrom's arrived today :)

And now, Jrand has reached a momentous millstone! ;D

Congrats DR Jrand.

Keith also got it in four.
-
Had fried catfish for food - not the best it's been, but fine.
-
I turned a page by catfishing.
-
Been watching the trial of the guy who attacked a judge in Las Vegas.
-
Law and Crime Network.
-
Will surely watch a movie tonight.
-
Surely.
-
No question about it.
-
Don't even think I won't.
-
Because I will.
-
Any chance you might watch a movie tonight, BK?
-
'night
-
CONGRATULATIONS to DR Jrand74 on your lofty new perch in the HHW firmament!!!!
-
I've been listening to Brahms's Ein Deutsches Requiem (A German Requiem). So beautiful!
-
I don't know what this product is, exactly, but is DR Jane's popcorn night about to get shaken up?
-
Only time will tell. 8)
-
Thanks for sharing the theedur drama with us, DR Jrand74.
-
Anyone got any spare California roll?
-
Good night, friends.
-
And others.
-
Back from dancing.
-
Line dancing was fun tonight.
-
Back to Inside Out 2, which is still not winning me over.
-
I will finish it tonight.
-
Only 30 minutes to go.
-
Only a few more post to go.
-
Then we can sit on six.
-
With a better choice of flix.
-
But without any Twix.
-
Out here in the stix.
-
Nix.
-
Six!
-
Well-done page turn, John G!
-
I survived Inside Out 2. I’m just not its audience. I only laughed once.
-
To wash the taste out of my mouth, I am starting a film noir in color called Black Widow with Ginger Rogers, Van Heflin and Gene Tierney. I have seen it before and I didn’t like it, but I remember little else, so I will give it another shot.
-
Good night, all.
-
I'd recommend the really good Black Widow - the one with Debra Winger.
-
I watched Trap, the recent M. Night Syinbinaeanrneklanan film. I will have a few things to say, oh, yes, I will have a few things to say. For now, I'm eating some tap tap tapioca pudding.
-
With whipped cream, of course.
-
What is pudding sans whipped cream?
-
I started another movie I've always wanted to see but whose release was so brief that it came and went without my noticing it - although I was a little busy in the year 1975, as you know.
-
Page six.
-
Not very sporting.
-
The site is spazzing out ever few seconds. Up, down, up, down.
-
Hopefully, they'll fix it.
-
At least those two went through.
-
But not the last one.
-
Horrible.
-
Disgusting.
-
Hopefully, we can get the new notes posted.
-
Up, down, up, down - over and over again. It was JUST down again.
-
Then up ten seconds later.
-
Just want to get the notes posted and the topic changed, but my guy is not responding. You'd think it was a Saturday night or something.
-
May as well post whilst I can.
-
Didn't think that one was going to go through.
-
And we're still on page six.
-
No George.
-
Down again.
-
Up again.
-
Infuriating.
-
Down again.
-
Up again.
-
And the page that shall not be named.
-
Still up.
-
I think.
-
Guess George isn't showing up anytime soon.
-
I'm still here.
-
Hoping we're up long enough to get everything done.
-
That's the most important thing.
-
That and some more pudding.
-
Always more pudding.
-
Pudding has fallen out of favor.
-
But not with me.
-
Pudding will never fall out of favor with me.
-
No George.
-
He's certainly been here all week before midnight but suddenly he stays away?
-
Eating a burrito?
-
Playing hooky?
-
Not very sporting.
-
He'll probably show up when the site goes down.
-
Which hopefully it won't for at least another couple of minutes.
-
We shall know shortly.
-
One more minute.
-
Hang on, sloopy.
-
Had some Wheat Thins.
-
Low fat variety.
-
I like Wheat Thins.
-
I like anything with the word thin.
-
New notes are up.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
Every year I get two cat calendars. I am now set for 2025.
Every year, I get a Futurama calendar. :) I've been getting them since the year 2000, and I've been keeping them! I've found that I have every calendar since 2000 except 2009! I know that that has to be somewhere, and then I'll have a complete run! I don't, however, think that any were made before 2000, since the series started in March of 1999.
-
I wrote them.
-
And we were down three times as I tried to make the read them posts.
-
I still need to get the 2025 Futurama calendar, but that's available as new.
-
And we were down three times as I tried to make the read them posts.
How rude! >:(
-
Tonight, I ushered for Pride and Prejudice again.
-
It was funnier than the last time, and the audience was larger, so that helped.
