Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a proper notes vibe, and now it is time for you to post until the proper cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RESPLENDENT!
-
Notes trod. Vanquished.
-
In a higher-res image, you’d see Schmidt is on textured canvas.

His Bagley covers were all done on paper in watercolor.

I still have the four alternate artwork options for the original Colette Collage release. :) Here's the one that BK actually used for the Kritzerland re-release:

I wish I had the original, too. I wonder who has it. :-\
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept well for the first four hours, and then the last five were unbearable. I could not get comfortablele, the neuropathy in my legs and feet and pains in my joints only made things worse. Thatch stayed with me all night, and Annabelle has moved to her aerie in the bookcases. This morning I saw poor little Stel;la looking for her Amazon carton I threw out yesterday, so I'm feeling guilty about that.

At some point between 10:00am and 1:00pm, the plumber will show up to hopefully repair the bathtub drain. It's been screwed up for several years, and our last super, the liar and lazy shit who replaced Val, never did a thing about it or the hole in my bathroom ceiling from the leak in the apartment above me. The company sent a plumber months ago who repaired a leak in the master hot water valve, and I don't know if I'll see the same person today.
-
Ben Bagley had Harvey's original cover designs framed in his apartment. I've always wondered what became of them.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I pulled another TCM night, seeing parts of Georgy Girl, Gaslight, and some of Blow-Up before finally falling into a fitful sleep with at least one stupid dream that kept repeating on me.
-
Good morning.
-
I definitely need some more sleep. Perhaps a snooze later.
-
Good morning, friends.
-
And others.
-
Nothing of import happened to me overnight.

That I am aware of.

But what do I know. I was sleeping.

I had dreams of Evelina, the Frances Burney novel I have been reading.
-
It's an epistolary novel. And all I can think of is how tired my hand would be if I had to write all of that.
-
Boy, does this ever feel like a Sunday.
Because, of course, yesterday felt like a Saturday, don't'cha know... what with everyone being home for various and sundry reasons.
-
DR Rodzinski I hope you are feeling better today.

I had an 8:30 lab appointment. Amazingly I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
Got to bed later than planned because I realized I made a timeline error in the last six pages I wrote, so I had to move stuff around so it made sense, and whilst futzing and finessing this morning I'll have to rewrite a couple of paragraphs to get those to mesh with the correct timeline.

Why are we on page two?

Is today Friday?

We've certainly had a paucity of those this year.

-
Very well, as soon as I'm coherent, I'll futz and finesse.

And then move on to new pages.

I went to CVS to pick up a prescription and get more decongestants. I had one of their mile-long receipts with me because it had a coupon for $6 off Allegra. The guy behind the counter usually worked up front, not in the pharmacy. He asked me if I wanted to use the rest of the coupons. I didn’t understand him, but said okay. Well, by the time he was through, my $27 box of pills and my $7 prescription only cost me $19. That was nice of him.

Rice Krispie Chocolate Chip Cookies
📝 Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈
1/2 cup granulated sugar 🍬
1/2 cup brown sugar 🍯
1 large egg 🥚
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 🍦
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 🍞
1/2 teaspoon baking soda 🥄
1/4 teaspoon salt 🧂
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 🍫
1 cup Rice Krispies cereal 🌾
🍳 Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. 🛠️
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. 🧈🍯
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. 🥚🍦
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet
ingredients, mixing until just combined. 🍞🥄
Gently fold in the chocolate chips and Rice Krispies, being careful not to crush the cereal. 🍫🌾
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. 🟤

They’re more affordable at Asian markets.

Listening to a recording I got for Christmas: Pianist Yuja Wang plays a piano concerto from Teddy Abrams and a short piece called You Come Here Often? by Michael Tilson Thomas. They’re both exciting pieces.

But maybe I'll give it a try.
