Well, you've read the notes, the notes were stretched, and now it is time for you to post until the stretched cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PERSEVERING!
-
A Very Happy Birthday to BK's Darling Daughter!

A Very Happy Birthday to BK's Darling Daughter!
Yes, happy birthday to BK's Darling Daughter!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I slept well, but I did not want to leave my bed this morning. I thnk Annabelle and Thatch would have liked that, too.
-
I dreamed I was in a rehearsal room at Carrol Studios on West 55th Stree. "Many a N from Oklahoma! was being rehearsed and we needed tape for something, so I wandered off to find some. I ended up in a studio where Elliot Lawrence was conducting something, and I had to wait while he finished the number. When I woke, Gershwin's "How Long Has this Been Going On" was stuck in my head.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I dreamt I was working with a catering company that merged with another. There were problems over which recipes to use, especially a chicken appetizer.
-
I spent too much time on Amazon yesterday looking at carts. I need one 11.5-14 inches wide and no longer than 26 inches. And . . . it has to be sturdy. The closest thing I've found so far is this. It's about 4 inches wider than I would like, but it looks very sturdy, and fits my apartment decor, which is Early Warehouse.
-
This is what I have with the lousy wheels. I like the look, but the width, when you lose 3/4 of an inmch for the sidses of the tiers, is only 11 inches, and I'd like a bit more width.
-
So, I'll spend part of the day looking at carts online. I may work on the iTunes mess as well.
-
Happy birthday to BK’s DD!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Closing matinee today. Enjoying a little morning time for now.
-
On my way home from the show, I must do my shopping for the St. Paddy's Day meal I'll be preparing tomorrow.
-
BK mentions audience-clapping-in-rhythm in the notes.
We suffer from that in this production, aided and abetted by the cast starting it themselves on the first of our three (3) repeats of the title song which is what the Curtain Music (note: not "Bows") in Hello, Dolly! consists of.
-
Did I just end that post on a preposition?
-
Anyway, I hate the practice. When I'm in an audience that starts it, I either stop clapping entirely or I clap faster and more furiously the normal way.
It's a perfect reason to eliminate bow music. I applaud it, and not in rhythm.
-
Anyway, I hate the practice.
I do, too. What actor wants to take their bow to rhythmic clapping?
-
Good morning, friends.
-
And others.
-
:)
-
Happy Birthday to MR BK's DD.
-
:)
LOL!
-
Notes costumed. Festooned.
-
The table is gone.
But there is something else there. I can't tell what it is, so I may take a walk across the street.

Yes! I’ve always felt this and I was pleased to see BK articulate it.
-

I await your findings.
-
Good morning.
-
Next week for DR LAURA.
-
It was a mirror about 14x24 framed in green. It is now in my living room while I find a place for it to live.
I left a small set of wind chimes on the ground.
-
There’s a house near us, not technically in our neighborhood but you have to drive by it to get to our house. In front of it is a mold-covered 1970s camper, a 30-foot 1970s U-Haul truck, a moldy boat, also about 30 feet. A normal car, and part of a catamaran. The owner is rarely there.
It doesn’t stress me out personally, but Mrs R finds it quite appalling. I had to laugh when driving the kids to school the other morning and my son pointed out the latest addition: A blue 2-seater airplane.

In other words, a fair exchange? A 'this for that" sort of thing?

Happy Sunday, all (I had to get it in there before I start thinking it's Friday).
That storm that brought tornadoes and heavy rains to the states west of the east coast yesterday arrived here during the night. Fortunately, we had no tornadoes in Johnston, but the thunder woke me several times during the night.
-
We are now several hours past the halfway point of March 2025.
On the one hand, the year is certainly moving at a fast clip.
On the other hand, there are still far too many months until November 2028 when we (hopefully) get to elect a real president.
-
Today is Zoom chat day. Am looking forward to communing with the guys!

LOL. Is there a name on a mailbox? Possibly "Sanford and Son"?
-
Kitty cleanup over, bed made, and I can go on to other chores. It took me 25 minutes to get off the bathroom floor after cleanming the litter, get to the kitchen, wash and rinse three kitty dishes, and then make the bed.
-
Why did DR Jrand74 cross the road?
-
Tell me if you've heard this one before...

I took it as there was also a set of windchimes, but he didn’t take those.
-
That is the case DR RODZINSKI.
-
I put the mirror on the desk against the wall so that the pair of keets now have a FULL view of themselves on that side of the cage.
The are most amused and they enjoy admiring themselves to be sure.
-
Wasn't there an old perfume commercial "Your wind chimes stay on my mind"?
(well, almost like that)
-

Do they know it's their own reflection, or might they think it's two new playmates?
-
I'm up, I'm up - allergy attack at four, but I thankfully got right back to sleep after taking a pill. So, maybe seven hours of sleep, but I woke up to a frozen computer that would not wake up. So, had to deal with that and now I have little time to do anything at all.
-
Good morning
-
Yesterday evening Vixdad and I went to a fundraiser at my friend’s church.
-
There was line dancing with 2 instructors
-
A buffet dinner
-
And a silent auction
-
Also door prizes
-
I won two baskets in the silent auction
-
One was a “kaffee klatch” basket that had a nice stainless steel thermos, two stainless steel travel bugs, a carry case for the aforementioned, a very nice platter of fancy bakery cookies and a $50 gift certificate to that same fancy bakery
-
I won it for a $40 bid
-
The other was a picnic basket.
-
A very fancy picnic basket which holds four plates, 4 glasses, cutlery for 4, 4 cloth napkins and a lovely woven picnic blanket.
There was also a bottle of Prosecco inside.
-
I won that for $30
-
Then I also won a door prize!
-
A $25 Amazon gift card
-
It started at 5 and was over by 830
-
We were home before 9 , but I was so tired I went right to sleep
-
Oh, the buffet included a 6 foot Italian cold cut hero, a three foot breaded chicken and mozzerella and roasted red pepper hero ( I picked a slice of that), meatballs in red sauce, chips, salad, water, sodas and then a nice dessert assortment, cookies, cakes, pies coffee and tea.
-
It was a fun time
-
I mentioned it to the head of our youth group, who are currently working on a three year plan to raise money to go to the National Gathering
-
So maybe we’ll have line dancing at our church sometime
-
I never got to church to set up for todays service so I had to get there extra early, before 8, to get everything set for the 9 am service
-
That wasn’t too hard to do since I woke up at 530 and couldn’t get back to sleep
-
There are carrots and onions and potatoes and a corned beef in the slow cooker

That was quite the score DR VIXMOM - AND a donation!
-
DR FREDDIE I think they know it is themselves.
There was a smaller mirror on that side they often looked into....

Wow! DR vixmom, you were on a roll last night.

WORDLE in four.
-
Loading up a couple of vehicles - there may be some more goodies on the lawn soon.
-
DR John I'm very glad you weren't caught in that horrible accident. I guess there a questions 911 people are required to ask even if they are stupid.
-
The bobcat in a box is cute though I couldn't watch the video.
-
John I hope that fire was quickly dealt with.
-
From Bruce,
Well, if you read Vegas Can Be Murder, the answer might just be within.
LOL why else do you think I mentioned ice cream at Farmers Market :)

Congrats on the winnings, Vixmom!

Aren't you clever leaving something to replace the mirror. I hope you find the perfect spot for the mirror.

Happy Sunday! On the new Broadway Radio Show, we explore musical dreams... from dream sequences to dream ballets to dream songs, you'll hear from Sondheim, Coleman, Rodgers, Lloyd Webber, and many more!

-
Wow! Do you plan to try any of the recipes?
I liked her recipe for chow chow. I need to study it more.
-
I had to go back and look for Chow Chow. LOL, I wasn't expecting that one. I was thinking maybe the Black Cake or one of the other cakes.
-
What line dances did you learn, Vixmom?
We learned the steps " the vine" and "rocking chair" and um i can't remember but heel/toe stuff and stepping left and right and turning
-
I was terrible but I had fun
-
:)
-
I was terrible but I had fun
The fun is what matters!
-
Aaaaaaand...
Goodbye, Dolly!
-
Not bad!
-
Next up...
Some St. Patrick's Day cookin' and eatin'.
(Tomorrow, that is.)
I just about cleaned one store out of their supply of corned beeves.
-
Looks like vixmom beat me to it!
-
I could watch people line dance all day long.
-
Keith got Wordle in three today.
-
That is some collection in DR RODZINSKI's neck of the woods.
-
Page five.
I hope rehearsal is going well for MR BK & Co.
-
Congrats to DR CHAS SMITH on the musical closing!
Did you get any nice cards or treats?
Oh I forgot - you don't even get lunch on a two-show day.
-
The only thing left out by the street is something that looks like a black sandbox.....I am not curious enough to go see what it really is.

The neighbor across from us -- the one with two gutted trailers, two diesel trucks with utility trailers, four cars in the driveway, and three cars that he parks in front of various neighbors' houses -- once parked a plane in front of my house.
-
I kinda want more information about that black sandbox.

;D
-
They were doing those line dances at the wedding we attended last week. I am way too uncoordinated to do any kind of dancing.
-
I felt fortunate just to not fall off my shoes.
-
Yes, I got cited for the wildflowers in my yard.
-
:(
-
Does one sit in a black sandbox and eat black cake?
-
One wonders.
-
Sir, this is a Wendy's.
-
;D
-
Watching Ninotchka. I had to have a comedy tonight. Brilliant script. Perfect direction. Exceptional cast.
-
I haven’t the face
Of her grace
Ina Claire
But I’ve still got my health,
So what do I care?
-
Yes, even the cast makes me think of Cole Porter.
-
Thanks for that link, DR John G. Very interesting.

Garbo laughs, and all’s right with the world.

Happy Birthday to BK's DD.
-
Good night, friends.
-
And others.
-
Six!
-
Good night, Singdaw.
-
Hello, 0 guests!
-
What is your favorite Ernst Lubitsch movie?
-
Yes, I got cited for the wildflowers in my yard.
How rude! >:(
-
Sir, this is a Wendy's.
And speaking of Wendy's, there's finally going to be a Wendy's in Tumwater! There's been some industrial construction in front of the Tumwater Home Depot, and one of the new businesses will be a Wendy's! I don't know when it'll open, but I'm sure that it'll be quite busy when it eventually does.
-
Such fun that singdaw will start tomorrow with a brand new millstone!

Page six?
-
Not very sporting.
-
Where'd everyone get to?
-
Not here, certainly.
-
I got home around seven thirty.
-
Had pasta papa and chocolate mousse for food.
-
Earlier, I'd only eaten a bite of salad and one tiny pinwheel sandwich thing.
-
We had a pretty smooth dress rehearsal without dress.
-
Fixed some lighting issues.
-
Gave noes.
-
Had a lunch break.
-
Then we had our sitzprobe, which was really fun.
-
Then we finally got the strobe working and set those cues.
-
What is this, the never-ending page?
-
It just goes on and on and on.
-
With no end in sight.
-
What the HELL is going on?
-
Most unseemly.
-
Not even sure we'll make page you-know-what.
-
George disappeared into the ether.
-
Finally, the page that shall not be named and yet is named.
-
Ridic.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.
