Congrats to DR CHAS SMITH on the musical closing!

Did you get any nice cards or treats?

Oh I forgot - you don't even get lunch on a two-show day.

The only thing left out by the street is something that looks like a black sandbox.....I am not curious enough to go see what it really is.

I'm shocked you don't want a black sandbox.

The first cookbook by a black chef has just been reprinted. Here’s a pdf of the original.

That's really cool.

Wow!  Do you plan to try any of the recipes?

If he can interpret the "receipts" easily enough. ;)

There’s a house near us, not technically in our neighborhood but you have to drive by it to get to our house. In front of it is a mold-covered 1970s camper, a 30-foot 1970s U-Haul truck, a moldy boat, also about 30 feet. A normal car, and part of a catamaran. The owner is rarely there.

It doesn’t stress me out personally, but Mrs R finds it quite appalling. I had to laugh when driving the kids to school the other morning and my son pointed out the latest addition: A blue 2-seater airplane.

The neighbor across from us -- the one with two gutted trailers, two diesel trucks with utility trailers, four cars in the driveway, and three cars that he parks in front of various neighbors' houses -- once parked a plane in front of my house.

They were doing those line dances at the wedding we attended last week. I am way too uncoordinated to do any kind of dancing.

Does one sit in a black sandbox and eat black cake?

Watching Ninotchka. I had to have a comedy tonight. Brilliant script. Perfect direction. Exceptional cast.

Yes, even the cast makes me think of Cole Porter.
