I am totally amazed at how much better I feel knowing that the laundry is done and the kitchen cleaned...AND decluttered

Well, I better call it a night.  I still need to put one basket of laundry away and get some sleep.

Today was our second of two two-show days.  Both shows were sold out!  AND they were both great audiences!  They got it and laughed and were appropriately touched during the touching moments.

After the two shows, I and several cast members went to see our first Piglet, Kate, play Peter Pan in the Olympia School District's practically-all-teacher production of "Peter Pan."  This is why we had to have a different actor play Piglet this weekend.  Jordan was quite good, too, and certainly made the part his own.

Kate as Peter Pan was very good!  I knew that she could sing...she sang a couple of years ago in "Goodnight Moon", but that was all very gentle singing.  Peter Pan belts it out and also sings the soprano stuff when Peter is disguised as the Spanish seņorita (or something like that).  Kate really has the range that I'd never seen.  They did use the term "Indians" and perform "Ugg-a-Wugg."  I don't know if anyone was offended by their inclusion.  When I was in a production twenty some-odd years ago, we modified it, but I don't remember how it was changed to lessen the offensiveness of it.

The show did get the not-deserved obligatory standing ovation.  There were a few people that just stood up as soon as the show ended and really shouldn't have.  Oh, well.

My friend Margo was their and she forgot to ask if I would be able to drive her home before her kids drove off with her car (she had planned on asking so that her kids could go home, but she just forgot).  It turned out that it was okay, so we went to Red Robin for dinner.  I'm absolutely stuffed and am very tired after this very long day.

Tomorrow is our final performance and then we strike the set.  Hopefully, it won't take too long.  I'll then come home and watch the closing ceremonies of the Olympics.

Good morning, all! Another early morning of ROBERTA dreams and anxiety, and after too much of it, i decided it was time to get out of bed. Tomorrow we have Day One of recording, so today I will listen to the first edits a few times to get a few things into my head. I'll spend part of the day working on the liner notes as well.

Coffee!

Listening to our new release - an early St. Patrick's Day gift.

Really?  Is it a soundtrack or cast album?
